A similarity I noticed regarding all these 3 Capcom villians

In one way or another they all believe to be the savior of their world through using some cruel methods, for Albert Wesker from Resident Evil, he thinks infecting the entire world with a super virus will be the cure to save it but it's all his own delusions to abandon morality thinking he's a god of the world, for Myria in Breath of Fire 3, she thinks to save her world by halting humanities progress of technology & convincing them they still need gods to worship like her & why she successfully managed to trick guardian gargoyles into nearly genocide an entire dragon spieces & tricking one of the main characters family members that they're dangerous & brainwashed them completely & now for Jedah Dohma from Darkstalkers, as the Shinigami/Grim Reaper believes to save the Darkstalkers universe is to sacrifice many souls of the living to create a new god that'll help the world but clearly went insane with this goal in the process, it's all these similarities that why I find them so intriguing as characters/villains by how they get wrapped by their delusion of being the saviors & one of the many reasons I enjoy them

A recent Breath of Fire veteran now noticing a parallel between 2 characters in Kid Icarus

I now realize something regarding Deis & Myria, they're Palutena & Medusa from Kid Icarus if their roles were inverted! Deis the snake lady is more like Palutena where they're an ancient goddess but acts like a complete fail girl years before Uprising eventually did it & can get serious when she needs to as Myria is more sinister despite being a goddess of light that tricks people into thinking they need to be worshiped much like Medusa is & much like Medusa, Myria's true form is of that of eldrich abomination just something I thought of when I put more thought into these characters that make me enjoy them alot more

I've beaten Breath of Fire 3 & my overall thoughts on it

Well I did it, I beaten Breath of Fire 3 & despite me having the game resetting on me 3 times due to technical issues, I can safely say, this game is easily some of the best PS1 games, Capcom improved so much from 1 & 2 on the SNES, games I thought were good to great even & BoF2 specifically would be some of my personal favorite SNES games but BoF3 improved so much of what I love in the game, heck in many ways BoF3 is a more improved Final Fantasy II (that I say this as someone who believes FFII is my favorite Final Fantasy games besides X,IV & possibly V) with how you can specifically build your members in a certain way & I really enjoy! Alongside loving the setting mixing modern & fantasy together much like something I see in the Tales of games I played namely Symphonia & Abyss, plus I do enjoy the cast, Ryu, Nina, Momo, Rei & some of my favorite Breath of Fire characters without a doubt, Garr & Peco being the overall goats! Then the story which is really interesting with what was set up from BoF1 & 2 expands on them but isn't overly explained however I think that's what I find very genius because it's kinda like Code Vein's approach by how it's connected to God Eater yet this was within a PS1 game! It gives you a tiny bit of info but enough to piece it together yourself that fills in with my own personal theories to make it very open ended on how the Breath of Fire series came to be, simply very dope, this game is in my favorite PS1 games besides Xenogears, Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, Mega Man Legends, Ape Escape, Twisted Metal 2 & Parasite Eve, I'm so glad to be a BoF fan now as this series is shaping up to be my favorite IPs under Capcom besides Mega Man & Strider, can't wait to see what BoF4 has to offer alongside even Dragon Quarter but until then I'll take a short break with the BoF series but nonetheless BoF3 is VERY dope & hail the goat Peco & happy 28th aniversary to this game released in America!

My reaction when I FINALLY beaten R-Gun Rivale in Episode 34 of SRW OG

Needless to say, this is some of the most challenging SRPG bosses I've ever faced & now I can progress more of what this story has to offer but nonetheless this game is shaping up to be some of my favorite SRPGs

Reminder Ragna canonically wears an Earring

I love how this detail is so scarce that it's never shown in the official art or even his sprite as it's only in the openings & the only time the official art shows that off is his Central Fiction art if you look really closely

FTR I still really enjoy it but imagine if they used all the different Asagi's from Prinny 2 in Asagi Wars which would've made the 10/10 post game into a 20/10 but regardless I'm glad to enjoy that post game especially when it basically explains why Asagi has very different personalities in so many NIS games not to mention I REALLY enjoy having the OG Asagi acting ultra cool!

Granted while Garr from Breath of Fire 3 is purely coincidence he was similar to Cammuravi, there's a non zero chance someone at Monolith Soft was inspired by Selvaria Bles from Valkyria Chronicles for Ethel especially when they're ultra similar in their designs & even stories to a degree
