What do i mean

This game has absolutely amazing build up and dialogue then falls flat at the results almost every time with predictable outcomes that i WISHED was at least impactful

- for example a lot of the early dialogue focused on the previous queen and her son plus other things and yet we never saw these characters

- Duke Larg and Goltanna for thier BIG roles in the story they have like 2 scenes at most and both die pathetically for the supposed high bravery and calculating lions

- confess Marcel for all his involvement was straight up pathetic

- and then oh boy delita what they have done to you

The game tried to make him as a grey hero who does what needs to be done and following his own path BUT at the end he is a manipulative asshole with barely any actual achievements to his belt AND I WISHED in a way tried to help Ramza in any way but the story kinda forgot thier existence after the church scene

And the worst part his rise to power in all his stages was off screen ALL OF THEM

Like i thought he was going to be another Emet selch and now he is just very forgettable

- i really loved Folmarv,Dycedarg,Zalbaag characters and that one dancer that threw the Duke off the roof

- the story really tries to hammer in the common folk vs nobility and they repeat this with A LOT of characters and boast it to Ramza but there is one problem every one blind to it

Ramza has been through more hell in one year than the entire kingdom AND made it out alive EVERY TIME he is the most built different Final Fantasy MC ever

- Cid needs his own “Mpape dictator” edit

I am right before the final of orbonne monstery

For example i am trying to do thieves dorter and disorder in order

Went the places and went to rumours sections and not happened

The only sidequest line i did is recruit Beowulf,Reis,Cloud,construct 8

So i grinded to least level cap for Arithmetician and I don’t know what i am doing here cause all it skills are gibberish

I understand it can use ANY spell from the 4 jobs associated with it

But is it random or specifically acquired like ONLY unlocking Bahamut and Zodiark or only ja-spells

I have a good idea on what skills i need but since the job generally sucks and must be a sidejob what skills i need to unlock to call it a day and not touch it again

PS what is the strongest spell in the game between Holy,Flare,Firaja,Bahamut and Cyclops?

I just got Cloud,Beowulf,Reis,Cid

Cid is a straight up dictator and aside from Geomancer attack boost he doesn’t need anything

Cloud has already a lvl 8 Samurai so i will build him with that BUT the problem Beowulf is also a good candidate for Samurai so aside giving swiftness to cloud i don’t know what to do with them

Reis is weird her breath attacks are kinda underwhelming a bit until i unlock rest of her abilities BUT i already have 2 recruits summoner/white mage and Blackmage/Time mage with ALL the important skills

Do i make her side job dancer? Since her dragoon job is maxed?

I just finished CH2 my experience with the game was pure hell honestly

Even after i have Auto potion,JP boost,Movement +1 i am getting my ass kicked by everything

My biggest problems are this

- grinding for example Archer and thief to unlock Ninja and Dragoon but both are weak asf jobs deal no damage while the enemy heals

- not enough healing or revives to go around UNLESS i have a Monk but again i might want to switch him out with something else

- not doing enough damage to one shot i can get behind but constant shield parry and dodge will make me pull my ear out

Here’s my characters progress “assume all of them went through chemist and squire ”

Ramza Knight > Monk > Archer > thief > Knight

Agrias Holy knight > Knight > White mage

Mystadio Machinist > Knight

Random recruit#1 white mage > Mystic > Orator > Black mage > Time mage > Summoner

Random recruit #2 Black mage > Time mage > Summoner

Random recruit #3 Knight > Monk > Geomancer

I am at the playground before Basil house after collecting all the letters and here’s my thoughts and theories of what the story given to me and concluded

- Mari killed herself

- Basil did something what is it I don’t know based of Aubrey reaction in 2nd morning part of me believes her when she said “he started screaming out of no where”

-drowning is a major theme in headspace and possibly a character way of trying to kill himself who i don’t know “probably Mari”

- i noticed Basil bathroom had railings next to the bathroom which felt odd like those for cripples but then again he has a grandma

- Kel and Hero aside from thier personality i have nothing on them “but did notice Hero getting extra tired than the rest during Headspace in some moments ”

- the DREAMER is probably sunny if not then Basil

-the dad at the hanging tree when you collect the final letter is weird cause he says “you’re not my son” but the only one without a Father is Aubrey or Sunny or basil but all thier circumstances point to no one being this character dad “probably Basil tho cause he has a care taker and honestly i don’t if he even has parents or that was even said and i missed it”

- the oldest is the black eye,the wisest don’t know but what is the big yellow cat? I know the black one Mari’s is a major plot point but we never met a yellow or even having significance and it’s the most important one?

- the window with the curtains i have 0 input on it’s significance

- probably my favourite mystery why is “OMORI” name on Sunny’s paino

During the events of S2 of the anime “post movies” both Mai and Futaba say to Sakuta “don’t get entangled with puberty syndrome” so they don’t see him get hurt

But BOTH have suffered from and without Sakuta help the consequences would lead to insanity

And they only help him by comforting him in his house or hangout which is a bit too basic and doesn’t help the situation a lot

Is like saying “instead of telling me not the final boss alone let’s fight the final boss together so i got your back and you got mine”

Also Mai completely ignored Sakuta warning she is going to Die at the police station cause of Reasons and Sakuta got hurt instead

I am at the beginning of lineages and legacies

I am playing moderate on encounters and Hard on bosses and had REALLY tough encounters where i had to use over 10-15 life bottles but i got the hang of the game but a few questions

- what is the best combo build up sometimes cause of weakness limits i either spam A arte or spam B arte

- sometimes when i hit an enemy i get a full CC back how?

- is there a book that allows to haste the eleth burst “i have one but it consumes the mixer entirely in 2 battles” or make burst phase longer

- in Eleth burst how do i make the counter builds up faster to spam Mystic arts back to back “especially for casters since thier cast time is still same in regular mode”

- best way to dodge is left and right and forwards for projectiles and back never right?

- HOW THE F*** i have constant healing cause rejuvenate takes a entire pregnancy cycle to show up or should i switch to nurse

I know being mean but Tales in terms pf soundtrack quality isn’t as memorable like other JRPGs like Kingdom hearts or SMT

But a few tracks that i do love

Fury sparks,Vesperia final boss all phases, final dungeon in Symphonia

I am at the strahta capital and used dualise to upgrade some of my gear to +1 “and crafted a zephreus sword”

But honestly i barely understand the system

i know about accuracy and Evasion are key,i know about more letter equal more stats,and i can’t farm them using the mixer and that’s about it

I am fine experimenting but i don’t waste resources

I am in CH3 malik boss fight level 20 on moderate

I cleared it with no game over but had to use 10 life bottles and him and his goons were dealing a LOT of damage like around 500 if i am not guarding “and situations like these happened in earlier encounters”

My strategy as asbel is guard until red aura with possible dodge > spam either A arte or B arte > guard and dodge last second

And if the enemy is stunned “stars” i guard to recover CC and spamming artes

During that fight Malik went overlimit 3 times while my team once

My titles are fine and switch them around after they reach rank 5

Dualizing and mixer aside making food stuff for inn requests haven’t been using them honestly

I am in labyrinth of memories with 5 fake galds

Finished most sidequests,gigantos,Sunko gratto

My party are 75 and pretty comfortable with our gear “except the the Leviathen triple threat boss give me a jumpscare” and my game plan is to tackle bosses on Hard difficulty

Now i have Duke 3rd form

Labyrinth of memories with Liquid snake

The 200 man challenge “i might just do it once for Rita”

The tag team savage for limit octet

And Necropolis of Nostalgia

What should i tackle from easiest to hardest on Hard difficulty

Part of me wants to get all the devil arms first before doing anything else cause i am not planning NG+ already put 70 hours in the game and want to jump in Graces F

I am reading a guide now and i have good understanding of things but a few questions

-are sidequest missables or important that need to be done immediately to get new titles and weapons that will benefit my endgame experience “i don’t care about completion” OR just like Xillia and Berseria don’t do them until endgame and most rewards are just things you can get later and focus on the story

- Xillia combat was based of this “and i finished it recently” but do every character has specific combat styles or buffs like snap pivot or what is your bread butter advice to be better

- anything i should be on the lookout for

- i got the robot from dr sicily

- went to the lower area found witch with 3 dots on him

- scene finished but no window showed you got something new but DID talk to him

I know about the 200 gaia bug use thing but do i have it or no?
