No one hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans

A quote that has only proved more true after the recent movie.

Seriously, do they like anything they didn't grow up with? Or is it literally just confined to whatever they watched whilst sitting in a shit-filled diaper?

How was Eleven able to rescue Will from Vecna's mind dimension, and how come she couldn't do the same for Max?

So, in Shock Jock and Escape From Camazotz, Will briefly possesses Vecna in an attempt to rescue Max and Holly, but after that, Vecna imprisons Will's consciousness inside his mind dimension. Later on, Eleven returns to the base of operations and uses her powers to go into the mind dimension and rescue Will, and after that Will is fully conscious again. One thing that confuses me is how Eleven was able to do this, and if she was able to do that the whole time then why couldn't she do the same for Max a few weeks prior to the events of Season 5? Is it because Max was deeper in the mind dimension?

This man's writing has genuinely made that much of a difference in my life, and it pains me to see him treated like this just because he sometimes can't stick a landing in regards to finales.

Why do some people really not seem to like Piper?

Because she commits the heinous crime of not wanting to travel with you if you act like a jerk? Because she "abandons" Nat? These points seem nitpicky as all hell. But I'll quickly go over them both and give my thoughts.

It's established that Piper spends half her time locked up in the Diamond City jail, or as she humourously calls it "The Piper Suite." If Nat couldn't take care of herself for long periods of time, then Piper wouldn't carry on being a journalist, a job that requires her to get into trouble with the higher-ups in Diamond City and spend quite a bit of time away from home. Piper knows that Diamond City, for the most part, is safe.

The other point is weird as well. Piper is clearly established from the start as being someone who hates injustice. It's the same reason why I don't travel with Cait, because she hates it when I do nice things. Doesn't make her a bad companion, just not one tailored to my play style. But for some reason, people only take it as a personal attack when it's Piper calling them out for doing things she doesn't like.

Waterloo Road deaths ranked by how sad they made me feel (Spoilers obviously)

On a semi-related note, I kind of wish we got to see a little bit more of Mr MacDonald and his incredibly close bond with his daughter. The writers didn't even give him a first name, yet I still felt sad when he died (mainly because he sounded like a nice guy, and also because I felt incredibly bad for Vicki).

My PC has had a less than perfect time running Fallout 4. Like, it runs the game itself beautifully, but for some reason there has always been something that has pretty much ruined my current playthrough.

Back in 2023, after building the Institute teleporter, my game just wouldn't stop crashing. I was told that the crashes I experienced were due to weapon debris and godrays, but that didn't explain why it only started happening after the Institute teleporter was built.

Second playthrough, early 2024. Found a fix for the Godrays and weapon debris, but I didn't get far enough to test the Institute teleporter before the next-gen update happened and ruined my game.

Since then, I have bought Fallout 4 on GOG and apparently that doesn't include the next-gen update. I'm still too scared to try it out though and get fully invested in a playthrough because I've been burned so many times before.

What are your thoughts on Ashton and Shola's relationship at the end of Series 17? And how do you think it'll continue in Series 18? I haven't seen many people talk about this plot point, largely because it pretty much came out of nowhere.

I honestly think that the way news outlets and certain fans have spoken about Scarlett Thomas across her career have been absolutely vile. Regardless of her acting ability, she isn't even an adult yet and the things I've read about her have been needlessly cruel and harsh. And now that she's revealed that she is fully aware of what certain people think about her, it just doesn't need to keep being said anymore. To be honest, it didn't need to be said to begin with. She's a teenage girl and far too many people forget that when they line up their "Nepotism" and "Zero acting ability" comments.
