Have PSBBN installed (great frontend but a little slow), wireless Logitech controller is a good addition.
I was going to swap the white shell from a Japanese PS2 model, but then it costs $70 + import fees… so I just went the cheap route and sprayed it myself.
Basically I wanted to swap the white joysticks in my white controllers to black ones, because white silicone tends to get dirty and become yellow over time. Plus, black-on-white contrast looks appealing. Is there a size or controller type I need to search for JoySticks?
I had such a weird stressful dream man. Okay, so I was sleeping on a futon outside by this home-ran store. But my futon was outside by the sidewalk and that’s where I’d sleep every night under a blanket. I think I kept the futon outside because it took up a relative amount of space and I didn’t want to have my space cluttered back at home. But I still had to use it to rest.
I finally realized how weird it was so I brought it home. For some reason I had to have somewhere to put most of my clothing so I asked the people at the store in front of me if I could put it in one of their tiny storage bins. I proceed to fit most of it in one bin.
I drag the futon home and come back, someone who works there invites me inside and and then another lady who I’ll go by Melissa takes me back to the room.
I start opening the boxes and none of them are my clothing, and she tells me I have to leave soon because someone from admin is coming and they’re going to want to have a meeting. But I’m attached to my wardrobe deposit. And I didn’t want her to get in trouble. But before I can leave we hear them coming so I panic and hide under the desk.
This was the longest dream ever, I mean I laid completely still under the desk that entire time, barely moving an inch, as I listen to their meetings. Multiple people come in over the next hour separately over different things, to talk about different topics.
Some lady uses the desk to fill out papers, I remain committed so I just quietly move horizontally so her legs can fit. She puts her legs out and kicks me in the balls. I do not yell and stay absolutely quiet.
Eventually some chill maintenance guy comes in and says “Hey who’s your friend here?” and points under the desk while laughing and walks past anyway. A couple minutes later the last guy comes in, a different guy, stats putting up ads around the desk, sees me, and I’m teleported to a lobby room with my hat hanging in my mouth.
I say I’m sorry, he’s ticked off and tells me it’s too late for that. I tell him I’ll see myself out, and I do. I start walking home kind of hurriedly in fear cops could be called. Then these guys who I think are security proceed to walk up to me to give me a metal, but mistake me for the wrong person. I perceived them as wearing camouflage army outfits at first for some reason.
I tell them I’m not the award winner (there was a separate event going on for like a computer coding award show). They dismissed themselves and I continued to walk home. The dream ends there and I wake up realizing none of it happened and I still have my entire wardrobe at the house.
So yea. That’s my dream I just had, in very vivid detail.
It was so real, I could actually hear every little thing the people talked about during the meetings from under the desk and it sounded genuinely legitimate. I could vividly feel pain too, it’s remarkable how I was able to imagine so many people with such a wide array of personalities.
If someone could help me find a link or a listing to a power supply that would work help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello people, today I found out the CMOS battery has died in this PS2 of mine. Which has HDMI & USB-C soldered inside of it. I noticed the wires go over the heat sync or fan area, and feel I should be apprehensive about taking it apart to reach the battery. The internal clock stopped running.
I understand they wanted to reduce the ‘blurriness’ but I feel they did not have to remove the color gradients almost entirely. The white actually looks like translucent glass in the left icon (previous)… the new one falls flat.
This also occurs in the episode Frowning Friends so this is more than just a one-time thing.
Picoloader + Cubiboot + HDMI mod + Mobile Display + Wavebird Controller
Hello all, today I installed a Picoloader into my GameCube and flashed it with cubiboot_picoloader.uf2. It worked great for several hours after that, everything worked fine. Most importantly the Green LED lit up on the side.
After that later this same day, I wanted to add a custom splash or boot screen to my GameCube. I followed a guide and it did not work, so I turned to Reddit. One comment suggested that I should flash the Picoloader with the Cubeboot.uf2 file, and it seems after that the green LED stopped working.
I will admit I may have pulled my PC USB-C cable out of the Picoloader a little too abruptly, but would that cause it to be fried?
NOTE: Picoloader is still recognized and shows up on my PC, but now my GameCube shows the error message.
Help would be appreciated! Thank you.

Hello, I am trying to install PSBBN on a hard drive, although for the contents partition is telling me I can only have a maximum of 1 GB for photos and videos? Surely this cannot be right as the GitHub page says otherwise. Assistance on correcting this issue is appreciated!
Hello! I am getting into GameCube now and I wanted to know if the CubeBoot loader would work on the CubeODE optical drive replacement? I prefer the interface of CubeBoot greatly over the one Swiss uses. Thank you.
