Building gravel bike out of Shimano 105
Have older road bike with busted carbon frame with Shimano 105 drivetrain 2x10 and thinking rather than sell it, why not build myself a mid-range gravel bike using pictured frameset. Any reason why it wouldn't work?
Tire valve has disappeared
My car (2010 Sonata) has been pulling left for a little bit so I finally got out to check the tire pressures manually (the warning light on the dash has not been on though) and discovered that the front right tire valve has disappeared. Rear tire for comparison. No idea where the valve is, except I assume behind the rim somewhere or fallen out, but there's no hole in the tire where it should be. The tire is about 2 years old and I know it was there a few months ago. The tire isn't obviously flat and as noted above the car is pulling the opposite direction from expected for a low/flat. How much of an issue is this (like, stop driving immediately vs get it fixed next time it's in the shop), and is it a quick self-repair or does it need to go in to a shop?
2004 Prius 130k miles $300 with issues worth it?
Hey guys friend selling a 2004 Prius that has been sitting for a year or so with 130k miles. It’s Miss firing getting codes P0300, P302, P303 and P304. Assuming possibly spark plugs and coils. It starts and everything, needs a new front bumper and hybrid battery. My only real concern was this rust in the rear underneath. Now for $300 and having to fix all these issues and it sitting a year is it worth it or finding one in a better condition?
My 2002 taco with 480k miles. Still going strong! 120 mile commute every day
How do I get faster? Should I get carbon wheels?
Do I need to replace the entire windshield?
(Versus filling it in) (other info removed)
Update: okay I guess I was not clear— I know there’s options to fill in cracks from rocks, but I didn’t know if this counted toward that…..
Second update: thanks to those who answered my actual question by distinguishing fixing a crack versus replacing a windshield. I obviously knew you couldn’t replace part of a windshield. It’s a figure of speech when something is expensive people 😑
Third update: okay I’m leaving this post up because I think it’s useful information for others who’ve never had a crack but gosh darn yall are fucking harsh. I came to ask for advice about something I didn’t know about, and suddenly it goes viral because my wording was foreign to yall, and I get bombarded with sarcastic answers.
How do you guys like to decorate your key fobs? I'm pretty partial to gluing teeth to the buttons
Scam?
Not asking if it's a good deal, it is obviously is. But seller has excellent feedback score yet this looks too good to be true. It's brand new in the box.
