Ollie is doing better after a lump removal surgery! A pea-sized lump took five or six stitches and quite the incision. The entire back of his neck was shaved too so he looks a bit silly. Thankfully no cone has been needed, just his little babushka bonnet and a turtleneck that goes up to behind his ears.
Ollie's surgery went well! He's so out of it now, poor guy. But he's cuddled up in my bed sleeping off the anesthesia with the ac blasting on this 104° day. ❤️

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere there was a scam where people send you money expecting you to send it back then they file a dispute or something, but I'm not sure what to do. I called chime support to have them reverse the transfer and they told me to go to their profile and repay the money that way. I pretended I did on the phone but actually didn't because this seems sketchy? Thanks for the help!

Ollie was meeting the rest of my boyfriend's family Sunday at a BBQ. He was OBSESSED with the chipmunks but gave no shits about the dozens of birds that came through the yard. Made a great impression with bf's grandfather since he loves hunting dogs though! 😂
So instead of rehoming Pubert, my boss offered to let me set up my tank at work where responsibilities are shared. He seems to be settling in well!

Hey there! I'm considering getting a lizard in the future. Not anytime soon, I'm not rushing it and want to take my time making sure I have all supplies, a suitable habitat ready to go as well as the knowledge to properly care for them. What's a good beginner species? Preferably one with easier feeding requirements. I really like bearded dragons but I've read their care is more intermediate. I'd love a species that I could handle without them being super skittish though that isn't a must.

I have a lot of experience with fishkeeping and some experience in keeping spiders. I don't have space for a massive tank but I'm expecting any species would be at least 20g+ so I could fit one of good size. I'm good at keeping animals alive, plants not so much so if prefer a species where I don't need real plants in the enclosure.
