From Old England to New England, cheers!!

I'm slightly annoyed after that mediocre performance yesterday, but fuck it, I love Boston.

I was here once before many moons ago, but never really had the chance to properly explore the city. Coming back for a second visit, I'll admit I had my doubts. Between all the MAGA and Trump headlines, plus the England v Scotland/Boston ragebait doing the rounds on Twitter, I got worked up and took some of it personally. Part of me felt narrow-minded and genuinely wondered whether I'd run into trouble.

I'm very happy to say I was completely wrong.

If anything, the WC felt like one of the best things to happen to the city in a long time. The atmosphere was incredible. People of all backgrounds and nationalities united in bars and stadiums, enjoying the game. I had a great time partying with all the Scots, Ghanaians and Norwegians!!!

And Boston itself? So so pretty, especially Downtown and North End. Love seeing all the pockets of history around the city and of course, the lobster rolls and Dunkin 🤤

I came here with doubts. I'm leaving with a lot of affection and fantastic memories.

Visited Brecon recently. What a wonderful town!!!

I came from Bristol to Wales for a holiday recently and I can't stop thinking about my time in Brecon even though it's been weeks. The town centre is beautiful and I loved how clean it was! Everyone was really friendly and felt like there was a good sense of community.

The cathedral is gorgeous too. I also had a very tasty chocolate cake from St Mary's Bakery 🤤 I really enjoyed time in Wales. I can't wait to go back soon

"I can tell you right now, the English will not be as beloved. They burnt down our city in 1775 . We still celebrate that they left Boston forever as an official holiday."

Seeing Scots on **Twitter** acting like only they have fun in this world cup

JUST ON TWITTER, NOT REALITY

England fans are just singing and having a laugh, like most nationalities, but many users (esp. Scots) are jumping on the "England fans are horrible, no one likes you" bandwagon
