Hi! I have 4 GA tickets but really wanted VIP.
If anyone has 2 vip I would trade for 4 GA or 2 GA + cost difference.
Also willing to just outright buy 2 VIP if anyone is selling for $800 or less each.
I live in Los Angeles (willing to drive) and would prefer meeting up irl once wristbands are delivered for any buy/sell situation.
Maybe a long shot but I have 2 GA tickets to Daisy Chain Fields but wanted VIP so want to see if anyone is in the opposite situation wanting GA and wants to trade (will pay the price difference of course).
Or if anyone is selling 2 VIP tickets for less than $800 each?

I live a block from cedars so was about a 15 min walk and then WOW the fastest train ride ever! Was not expecting it to be that fast and smooth! The stations were clean and look durable. Super excited to not have to search for parking in Little Tokyo and this watch party was right at the station with a huge tent, chairs, water refill stations. Go metro!
I was watching one of my favorite YouTube channels and they did a collab with Alveus Animal Sanctuary (awesome org if you don’t know them def check their socials)
One of the animals in the sanctuary is a beautiful cow named Winnie the Moo that was saved from the beef industry. She’s a beauty and I love her.
When the YouTubers were meeting her in the sanctuary they were absolutely fawning over her talking about how much they loved her. I just got a pit in my stomach during those scenes knowing damn well every single one of them eats meat while talking about how much they love this cow.
Sigh.
It was updated yesterday 5/30/26. I thought that was interesting.
Now that it’s done, I don’t care if we are banned so I will share lol.
My bff is the biggest Colbert fan and planned a birthday trip to NYC this year hoping to get into one of the last shows. The whole group of us sent in requests and somehow I got a single priority ticket for the May 20th taping.
As I’m sure you know, the tickets are not transferable and they check ids at the theater. My friend literally changed her flight so the chance of being able to get in.
So now came the mission: how can I get my friend to pass as me and get in. Luckily I have a very generic white person name and we both have curly hair. She’s blonde though and about 6 inches shorter than me.
Opted to give her my passport as it doesn’t have any height or eye color info. She also used temporary dye on her hair and tried to shape her brows.
Day of she’s one of the first people in line and they look at the id pic for maybe 2 seconds 😂 my friend wore her Fitbit and her heart rate during the id check was 110 💀 but it was all worth it!
My best friend got to see one of her idols and on such a historic and celeb packed show if one of the first rows! I am just so happy for her!
I live near a pretty big university and every start of summer there is always a flooding on fb marketplace free and for sale groups with stuff college kids are trying to get rid of. A lot of it is usually less than a year old. I’ve gotten great sets of cooking gear, electronics, and even furniture. It can definitely be a mixed bag of quality since most of the stuff is cheap, but I still think it can be super worth, especially if you’re moving in someplace new, can get whole apartment starter kits basically with all the stuff being given away and thrown out.

like I’m sure many people, I had a one terrible experience at the dentist so just never went again for way too long
Started feeling some mild tooth pain and am suspicious it’s a cavity but still keep putting of the dentist. The I’m scrolling reddit and in one of my local city groups a dental student was offering treatment. I really was hesitant but reached out and word vomited all my thoughts lol and she was so kind and heard all my concerns. I felt so comfortable after talking with her I booked an appointment finally.
I indicated I consume marijuana so the student dentist informed me how marijuana can interact with anesthetic so to not consume it 24 hours before any procedure.
What floored me was her teachers response to that. He told her that instead of telling a patient to not consume, to ask the patient to inform of any use of cannabis in the past 24 hours because you can control the anesthetic but not if the patient lies about their consumption. He said it’s better to not tell patients what to/not to do, but instead build trust and a judgement free environment, especially with a patient that indicated anxiety.
This was an old white man teacher too so doubly impressed with that philosophy lol.
So happy these things are being explicitly taught (at least in some med professions/schools). Gives me hope for the future!
Going to NYC in May and have dinner sorted for the days but what are the best breakfast places? We are in the city for weekdays only so unfortunately can’t do places that do weekend brunch.
Would also love a bagel rec for place with vegan cream cheese.
Hotel is in Tribeca but willing to go around a bit.
