Hey, party people! I’m 39, 6'3", 195lbs,

Professionally, I work for the county (ironically in Adoptions) and still do occasional shifts at Trader Joe's (20% discount on groceries and I love my coworkers).

I don't really lean introverted or extroverted. I'm just as comfortable at a Dodger game as I am walking alone through downtown at night.

I prefer an uncomplicated life and doing things for myself. I love cooking just as much as a Costco hotdog. I like cleaning, but I'm not a neat freak. I'm a morning person, up at 5am. I don't care if you are though. I do generally prefer a quiet, intentional lifestyle over party scenes.

I'm a writer and I love storytelling. I've been a dedicated Los Angeles Dodgers fan since I was 6. I have a deep appreciation for Japanese culture and language study. I've been to Japan six times, most recently leading a study abroad program. Japanese trains turned me into a transit nerd. I have a massive appreciation for LA Metro and Metrolink.

My other niche hobbies include messing around with retro arcade hardware and modding. I'll be at Anime Expo this year (been going since 2004) but working a friend's vendor booth. I used to cosplay a lot. I'm also a marathoner (7 times) and will be running the Long Beach Marathon in October.

No smoking, no drugs, no cavities (😁), no kids.
