For some reason I always get downvoted for wishing Glinda had blue eyes. But I think she looks soooo pretty with blue eyes. I also think that just like having blonde hair (rareish colour) is part of Glinda’s personality, I also think having blue eyes fits the character. I also think this helps differentiate Glinda from Ariana (I always felt like I was seeing Grande play the part rather than disappear into the role). And if they can make Cynthia’s eyes green, there’s no reason they couldn’t have made Ariana’s blue 💙

I am absolutely living for the downfall of Ariana Grande.

She’s lost her face card. She’s so, objectively ugly now. Even during some Wicked era shoots, despite how thin she was, she still managed to look pretty (ex. SNL). But now she’s just this sick, ugly looking old woman with sunken eyes and deflated lips. And fyi 30 year olds aren’t supposed to look old, and actual old women (60+) aren’t supposed to look ugly. But she manages to do both, at the young age of 33!

Her artistic “masterpiece” flopped. Her first time writing an album (mostly) by herself and it exposes how utterly uncreative she is. The lyrics are bad, the vocals are boring, the message is tone-deaf. The snark is coming from inside the studio since she’s publicly broadcasting how out of touch she is with the real world. “Oh woe is me I’m so rich and famous but I’m not a victim but also please stop talking about me but also please stream Petal”

The general public is sick of her. She used to have such a positive image in the public. Her fans obv loved her, her haters despised her, but the average pop listener appreciated her for the vocals and diva persona. But since she’s insisted on shoving her wannabe innocent little girl act down everyone’s throats, people can no longer ignore what a weird, selfish, entitled, gaslighting, home-wrecking, self-victimizing, plastic-surgery denying, ED-promoting, allergic-to-taking-even-a-shred-of-accountability-ing, bitch she is.

Good riddance, Ariana. I hope you continue to shit on and tarnish your legacy. You will go down in history as one of the rudest, most spoiled celebrities we ever made the mistake of making famous.

TLDR; The artist used AI even after I asked for an AI-free design; the artist presented me with a Neotraditional/Illustrative concept instead of the American Traditional design we agreed upon; when I pointed out that the piece was not what we discussed, the artist dropped me as a client but kept $500 out of my $1000 deposit.

They chose to blame me by making up a complete lie saying that I requested an entirely new design on the day of my tattoo when it was actually the artist who did not deliver the agreed upon design and subsequently refused to continue working with me after I called out his use of AI... they proceeded to gaslight me by telling me there was no AI and that the artist drew the design himself, but I found the Pinterest receipts that show that that too was a lie... they could have just apologized and moved on, and then I would have too, but they decided to be dishonest and frame me as the problem when all I did was advocate for myself and hold them accountable, so...

Added preemptively for the moderators: I am not in violation of rule #12 (no trashing artists or shops) as it states that "users are more than welcome to voice concerns about bad/questionable work they've received, or to share truly unprofessional experiences with shops or artists". I am also not in violation of reddit's harassment policy which states “this policy is not [designed] to shield… organizations… from criticism, even if it's harsh… it’s not against our rules to… criticize someone’s actions”.

I put down a huge deposit ($1000) for a tattoo. The artist used AI in the final design. When I called them out, they said they did not want to continue working with me, and refunded me $500, but kept the other $500 for the time they already spent. I found this sub and thought I’d see if any kind stranger wanted to take a stab at the design. If I love a piece, I’ll tip whoever drew it, but I’m not about to put down any more deposits.

First photo is the style I would like. American traditional. I reached out to the tattoo artist who made those pieces but she said that she unfortunately isn’t accepting commissions at this time.

Second photo is the content. Black bear + douglasfir pinecones. Black tailed deer + dogwood blossoms. Eastern black squirrel + salmon berries. Bear and squirrel face right, deer faces left. The vegetation is meant to cover the neck of each animal.

Third photo is the colour I want. Animals done in black/gray/white. Pinecones/blossoms/berries done in black w/ negative space. Leaves done in black and green.

Fourth photo is my current forearm. The tattoo is supposed to cover the butterfly and the scars.

Fifth photo is just for anyone who is curious — it’s the AI design my artist sent and then canceled on me for not accepting (after explicitly telling him no AI).

- I am also not sure if it would look better if either the bear/pinecone duo was in the middle or if the bear had the blossoms and the deer had the pinecone. I say this because the blossoms and berries both have leaves, but the pinecone has needles, so it might have better balance if the needles were in the middle and the leaves were on the top and bottom.

The artist has repeatedly used AI and I’ve had to ask him to not include it in my design. He was supposed to send me the finished design a week ago (1 week before the appointment) but he only ended up sending it less than 24 hours before. I believe that he forgot, or simply didn’t care, and used AI to generate the deer and the squirrel, then used procreate to position them together and draw the leaves. The bear is not AI and I know that because the second photo is the reference I sent for the style of the tattoo and you can see that he just used the tattoo itself — he didn’t bother to redraw it.

Additional story time, the policy said $200 deposit per session, at the counter they verbally told me they changed it to $500, I booked 2 sessions with the promise that he would send me the final stencil in advance of our first session. He ends up sending me the design pictured above. I call that morning to tell them that it is not what I asked for and that I think it is AI. The receptionist says she will talk to the artist and call me back. 30 minutes later she tells me he does not want to keep working with me and that he will only be refunding me 1 of the 2 deposits as a one-time exception. He will be keeping $500 for the time he already spent designing the tattoo.

I know I’m an idiot for this. His portfolio is technically excellent — his tattoo application is beautiful. I thought I could trust that his drawing skills would be equally as proficient. I was wrong.

Also… this tattoo was supposed to be a cover up of my self harm scars and an old self harm themed tattoo (the butterfly, still visible in the first photo). I work in health care so I am often in extremely close quarters with patients and coworkers. I am so insecure about my scars and I always feel like people look at me differently once they notice. I was really looking forward to covering them up. But I’d rather have scars than garbage…

If I were to get the Juniper books, this is how I would organize them.

The Philosopher’s Stone - Gryffindor, because Harry is sorted into Gryffindor in this book.

The Chamber of Secrets - Slytherin, because Slytherin’s heir is a prominent plot point.

The Prisoner of Azkaban - Ravenclaw, because we are introduced to Cho Chang, our first important Ravenclaw character.

The Goblet of Fire - Hufflepuff, because of Hogwart’s house champion, Cedric Diggory.

The Order of the Phoenix - Ravenclaw, because we are introduced to Luna Lovegood, our most important Ravenclaw character.

The Half-Blood Prince - Slytherin, because the prince is a Slytherin.

The Deathly Hallows - Gryffindor, because Godric’s sword is the only founder’s object to not be turned into a horcrux.

This way, the books are also symmetrical (Hufflepuff in the middle, Ravenclaw on either side of that, Slytherin on either side of those, and Gryffindor on both ends).

I wish that each house specific quest was able to visit a unique location outside of Hogwarts; if it were up to me, I’d have:

- Gryffindors visit **Diagon Alley**

- Hufflepuffs visit **St Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries**

- Ravenclaws visit the **Ministry of Magic**

- Slytherins visit **Azkaban**

What are your thoughts on this? I like it because it’s 5 piercings on each ear and it feels well balanced to me. Left has 2 helixes and 3 lobes and right has 3 helixes and 2 lobes. Overall there would be 6 studs, 2 rings, and 1 chain (plus the 2 studs part of the chain).

I'm 25F and I'm considering getting my first big tattoo. I want this tattoo to coverup my self-harm scars. The new tattoo will also be covering the old butterfly. No one in my life has any experience with tattoos, so when I try to talk to them about this the conversation always ends abruptly with "idk get it if you want". I really would like to discuss this with kind, knowledgable, tattoo-loving people.

1. I love woodcut tattoos. Clean line art tickles my brain. However, I've been told by multiple professionals that a woodcut tattoo can not cover the butterfly. For this reason, I have decided to go with black and grey realism. This way the butterfly and scars can be covered completely. But... there is a small part of me that is questioning whether I should laser off the butterfly and get the woodcut tattoo I've always wanted. Another part of me thinks I could just get a woodcut tattoo on my outer forearm (most likely a big fern) and stick to the black and grey on the inside.
2. I am kind of concerned with how dark the tattoo is. I want there to be lots of skin tone coming through. I don't want it to be overly dark since I consider dark tattoos to be very masculine and I am fairly femme. Does this tattoo look very dark to you all? Is there something you would change to lighten it up / open it up? Am I overthinking the darkness?

I've been wanting to cover this area for a long time. I've also always been an over thinker. I wish I had someone in my life to obsess over the details with, but I don't. So if you're nice and you have the time, I would really appreciate your thoughts and opinions. Thanks.
