Megasix Broadway cast (8/17/26)

Hello friends! I was fortunate enough to go see the show tonight’s I took a trip from Detroit to NYC to see this cast and I’m glad I was able to get a video of the Megasix. I wanted to share it with yall on here as well tho I apologize that it’s far away.

Also I got to meet 5/6 cast members. Only one I didn’t get to meet was Khaila but that’s fine of course. I was very excited to meet Aimie since she’s been my favorite actress since I was 14 and I’m 21 now lol. Everyone was incredibly sweet and they all performed amazingly. Natalie even had a standing ovation after Heart of Stone! That I didn’t expect but I’m very happy for her.

Also I got to meet Alexia and Maiya outside the theater before the show. They were hanging outside the theater while we were all waiting for the doors to open. I even got a quick pic with them and they were also very cool and lovely to meet!

This is my first time seeing Six live and also my first time in NYC so I appreciate the cast, crew, and other members of the audience that made this show so special!

Got to see Rocky Horror for the first time ever!

Hello friends! So I’m on my first ever trip to NYC right now. I arrived today August 16. I got some advice from some ppls on here on how to get rush tickets and got some tickets for The Rocky Horror Show. Now I’ve never been to a showing of Rocky Horror. I’ve never seen the movie or musical and I’ve only heard a few songs. Going into this blind was the best possible experience. I could NOT have predicted the story at all.

The experience was AMAZING. Especially for my first time seeing a show on Broadway. The cast did so amazing and quite a few of them came out to stage door. Which was also my first stage dooring experience.

I had a pretty exhausting day so far but this was truly the highlight of it all. I go to see Six tomorrow but I’m so glad I got to see this. The theater was beautiful, show was amazing, and the cast was amazing. It reminds me why I love theatre so much.

Anyone have any positive experience with JetBlue recently or is it all bad?

I’ve unfortunately been doing a little doomscrolling on this subreddit cuz I have a flight on Sunday from DTW-JFK and it’s just got me super worried about cancellations now.

This will be my first time flying JetBlue since I was previously a Spirit Airlines person and I was hoping JetBlue could be my next budget airline but it seems like things have been pretty rough from all the posts I’ve seen. I’ve only flown a couple times and they were all with Spirit which was always pleasant in my experience.

I was wondering if anyone has had any pleasant or good experiences with JetBlue as of recently? I’m hoping to ease my anxiety about booking with them. If not that’s fine too lol.

Planned Parenthood closest to me had closed due to lack of funding.

Just saw an article about 3 Planned Parenthood locations in my state are closing permanently. One of them was unfortunately the one I got to for my T. There’s not much I can do about it. All I can do now is go to the Planned Parenthood that’s 30-45 minutes away.

This is just super frustrating. I had the care I needed 15 minutes down the road from me and this bullshit administration has taken that from me. How long till the other locations can’t stay afloat? Who knows what could happen at this point.

Simple art of my current dnd party

I’m not very good at drawing animals let alone humanoid animals. Since my entire dnd group are humanoid animals I thought it’d be good practice to try and draw out characters.

As you can see with the last 2 I made today that I was not in the mood to draw hands lol. Also my friends never really gave any descriptions of their looks so I just took creative liberties.

Choosing to go to school for a STEM major feels like I’m losing a part of myself

So I’m 21 and finally decided to go to college. I was bouncing between many career paths and also seeing how long I could hold out till I felt like my art was good enough to make something out of it or attempt to make something out of it. It stressed me out a lot and made me super insecure about my art so I decided I didn’t want to hate art because of it being a job. I wanted to enjoy it and thought art being a hobby would be better in the long run.

This lead to me deciding to go to college and pursue engineering. I haven’t even started school and have this absolute existential dread looming over me. I know it’s a hard major plus I’m going to be working while going to school. What if I lose time for my art? It’s my passion and I hate the thought of losing it. What if I’m too busy after I graduate to draw? What happens then? Will I lose all the skills I’ve worked so hard to get?

Idk it’s kinda hard for me to explain. Feels like I’m giving up a part of myself. Something that I told myself I would never let happen. Maybe I’m worrying too much and it’ll all be fine but what if it isn’t? I want this degree and I’m going to be very proud of myself when I finish it but I can’t shake this feeling of dread.

Just some thoughts I had to get out as school is fast approaching. Hoping everything works out though.

Imposter syndrome has been crazy lately

I was literally on here a few weeks ago with the same problem but I thought the feeling would go away. Unfortunately it seems to be persisting.

Had a situation where I had bad imposter syndrome at the barbershop a few weeks ago. I thought it was a one off thing but it wasn’t.

Im 21 currently in the process of going to community college for the first time here in the fall. I’ve been on T for a little over 3 years now and almost a year post top surgery. I pass pretty easily. Every time I go in for an orientation, to get my student ID, see my advisor, etc I get this intense feeling of feeling like an outsider, like everyone is judging me or seeing me as a woman.

My name is still my birth name which is quite feminine. I’ve tried different names and always felt awkward being called a new name so I never changed it socially or legally. It’s always led me into these awkward situations but I’ve always been able to laugh it off. As of lately I feel like people expect to see a woman then they see me and I feel like a freak.

The college is decently progressive. They have an lgbtq club. They have discrimination policies and stuff like that. So it’s not like a fear for my life or something like that. It does have a large religious presence which I think contributes a bit to the insecurity cuz I’ve always been nervous around religious ppl but no one had said anything so far.

I’m always a confident person too since I started passing. I’ve never been insecure about being trans and I love to be open about it to people who want to learn and I like being queer but something in the past few months has just made me so much more insecure about my identity and idk what it is.

Shit sucks. I can’t pinpoint where this insecurity or dysphoria is coming from either. Well I can I just don’t know how to fix it. It’s not anything physical so it’s not just something medication or surgery could fix. It’s mental and idk what to change in my mentality to not feel like this. I’ve always never cared what people think but it seems to have backfired in my face.

Just had to get this off my chest and write my thoughts down. I don’t know any other trans ppl irl so this is the only place where others have an understanding of what I feeling.

Artfight 2026 vs 2025 improvement

So while doing some attacks for artfight I noticed how much I’ve improved over the year. I think it’s pretty cool to see. My colors are a lot brighter and poses looks a lot better. I’m having a lot of fun with these attacks this year!

(First 2 are 2026 and last 2 are 2025)

What can I buy to get Bluetooth for my PC?

Hello ppls! I built my PC a few years ago but I don’t have a way to get Bluetooth on it. Ive always kinda been fine with using a cable but I want to start using Bluetooth instead. I don’t really know what to buy tho? I’ve seen some people say to buy a Bluetooth dongle but isn’t there also a part you can put in your PC? Also can the dongle hold multiple devices or just 1?

Verizon is super slow when I don’t have WiFi?

Hello ppls! Back in January I switched from Boost Mobile to Verizon. I had heard great things about Verizon my whole life so it was my first choice. I got on a plan with my 2 roommates and we got the $55 unlimited plan and some new phones so we are locked into a 3 year contract. I’m always hesitant of contracts like this but I had never heard any complaints about Verizon so I went in being okay with it.

For the first few months it was okay but the last 3-4 months have been awful. My phone barely works when I’m out of the house. I have full bars and can’t look something up on google or open up directions to a place I’m going to. I have a video of my phone taking almost a minute to load something on google I mean it’s ridiculous. Some times I can barely even send messages to ppl either. It’s not just me either my roommates have also had the same problems.

I always heard that Verizon has the best coverage and ppl never really had this problem but when I get Verizon it sucks I guess. Idk if this is a problem with my plan or others have this problem as well but it’s frustrating asf. Idk what to do about it cuz I want to switch services but I’m locked in now.

10 months post op and never did scar care. Is it really that big of a deal or just so the scars fade better?

I got my surgery last September and going into it I knew I didn’t really care about having the scars.

Anyways around 3 months post op my surgery team noticed I had a small bit of keloid scarring in the middle of my chest which I knew was a possibility cuz I’ve had keloid scarring on other scars. I didn’t really mind but they just gave me some steroid shots and told me to keep massaging it. We repeated this for about 2-3 more appointments.

At some point I had been cleared to do scar care but never did and I was supposed to have more steroid shots but kinda got sick of going so I stopped.

Anyways I’m not too worried about the scar needing to fade or anything I just see so many people talk about how important scar care is and stuff so I was wondering if there was any actual damage that could be done?

All I’ve heard is stiffness could be a problem but I’ve never had this problem besides the keloid thing and that I noticed as soon as I saw my scar like a week after surgery.

I’m so sick of working in a goddamn heatwave

I work at a car wash and have for 4 years now and every summer when a heatwave comes working during them just gets worse and worse. Not only is it almost 100°F outside but where I spray off cars is so fucking humid. It’s like sitting inside of a boiling pot. In previous years it wasn’t always that bad. We had more employees to switch out. The bosses used to help us with work and provide us with a bunch of cold water and Gatorade.

Over the past couple years tho my boss has grown unbelievably greedy and lazy. We have almost no staff. Just enough to cover morning and closing shifts. We don’t even have a water fountain anymore so god forbid your water bottles runs out. We don’t rotate ppl out for power washing. It’s just me in the back for 8 hours trying not to die.

It’s so humid that you can barely breathe the air. All I have is a measly little fan to keep me cool but at some point the fan is just blowing around more hot air around. I don’t get breaks. All I get is my 30 minute lunch break. The boss gets to sit in his ACed office all day. He shows up 4 hours after we open and doesn’t even stay till close. Sits in his office all day doing nothing and getting paid salary and it’s quadruple what we employees make.

It’s just been so miserable this past week. Customers are insanely rude all the time. This heat wave makes it even harder to tolerate. The boss contributes fucking nothing. I’m just so sick of it. My silver lining is the fact that I’m starting community college in August and I can go part time at this shit hole. No other job is hiring so I have to stick with the one I have for now.

The barbershop has got to be one of the most alienating places

So after one too many bad haircuts at my former barbershop I decided to find a new one. Found one on Instagram that looked pretty cool and all the barbers seemed to do a really good job so I checked it out. Found a really cool barber and the haircut came out great. Only problem is I can’t shake this intense social dysphoria I have from it. Idk why. I don’t look like a girl. I’ve been on T for 3 years and I’m almost a year post top surgery. They were all around my age and didn’t look anymore masculine than I do. No one clocked me or anything I just feel so different when I’m in there. This usually doesn’t happen around any other cis guys but for some reason it was bad yesterday. I felt so much like “the other” even tho everyone there was super chill.

Just a weird feeling that I haven’t felt in awhile. I’m hoping my brain can get over it or figure out why it happens.

Was anyone else’s program first qualified, first admitted?

Hello friends! I just went to my community college to register for classes to get my pre reqs done. When I was registering for my classes my advisor had me fill out an application for the Radiography program now to be put on a waitlist. The paper I was given and how it was explained to me was once you complete the qualifications you are added to the waitlist once per year and the students are chosen on a first qualified, first admitted basis. My advisor said the program was not a competitive like program its basically first come first serve.

This had me a little startled cuz I’ve been doing a bunch of research and I’ve only seen people talk about having to do interviews, big tests, volunteering, and other stuff. Im not sure if the program here works like that. After I’m on the qualified list all I have to do is complete my classes and wait I guess.

Did you or anyone else you know have a program similar to this?

Was slow at work today so I made this little Emily sketch. I haven’t drawn her in awhile so this was pretty fun to make. I love how the dress came out especially.

Does Xp Pen have issues with the scroll wheel?

Hello ppls! I currently own a Huion Kamvas 13 (Gen 3) and was looking to switch over to Xp Pen after having multiple issues with my Huion. I’m sick of the problems with it but my main concern was the scroll wheel. After about a month or two of using my Huion tablet both scroll wheels began bugging out and incorrectly responding to me moving them. I learned this was a common issue with Huion but I never bothered to really fix it. Has anyone experienced this with an Xp Pen tablet?

If it helps I’m looking to buy the Artist Pro 15.6 V2.

How to get into tech theatre as an adult with no experience?

Hello friends! I’ve been wanting to get into tech theatre for some time now. I’m 21 and never done it before. Not even in school cuz of Covid and other extra curriculars. I’ve always loved theatre and want to be more involved in it but I have no clue where to start especially as an adult.

Would my best bet be to email local theaters and see if they take inexperienced volunteers? How difficult is it to find one that would want to teach me? I’m going to community college here in the fall so should I just take a class or 2 on it to see if I like it?

Any advice is appreciated!

New license photo (3 years on T vs a month on T)

I was so happy to get a new drivers license photo taken lol. I always have an awkward smile but at least I don’t look 12 anymore! I was like a little baby fresh in this world.

My monitor and tablet screens were reversed. I set my monitor as main display and reset them now my PC refuses to recognize my tablet?

Okay so this morning I turned on my PC and everything on my monitor was enlarged and muted. I turned on my drawing tablet and everything was small. I realized the screens were reversed for some reason and attempted to switch them back but nothing would work. I set my monitor as main display and turned both the monitor and tablet off. When I turned them back on my monitor was back to normal but my pc no longer detects my tablet.

I tried messing with the cords. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the tablet’s drivers. I tried updating my graphics card drivers. I tried updating windows. I tried to extend my display but it doesn’t do anything cuz it doesn’t recognize that there is 2 screens. It was working fine last night, was reversed this morning, and now won’t detect the tablet at all. Idk what to do anymore. Idk if this is a hardware or software issue. I’m so lost on how this even happened.
