Turkish is a pretty hard language. What is easy about it?

I am just starting to learn Turkish and I noticed there are almost no cognates with English. Can you tell me what has been unexpectedly easy when it comes to learning Turkish (to help keep me motivated)?

For example, they don't use "the" so you don't have to learn a million ways to say THE like in Spanish or German.

I'm new to clay and there's so many types of clay, I am so confused!!!

Is there an air dry clay that I can make plant pots with? What kind of paint do I use? How do I seal it?

What kind of clay is best for making plant pots?

I'm new to clay and there's so many types of clay, I am so confused!!!

I want to make planters with faces/other things on them. I do not have access to a kiln but I have an oven.

I want to make planters either completely from clay, or buy a terracotta planter and add clay faces/whatever to it.

I also want to paint the planters. I guess i will need to seal them too? Obviously they will be getting wet so the clay needs to be able to get wet.

What do I use??? Please help!!!

Anyone take a really long time to realize their friend is toxic?

I'm talking 10+ years of friendship before you realize they were toxic or a narcissist. I had a friend for 20 years before I saw how toxic she was.....

A book about friends where one murders the other?

Can you think of a book that maybe starts out as a seemingly positive friendship, but one of the friends kills the other?

Decent paying job after losing CDL....

My husband has a non domicile CDL and will not be able to renew it when it expires in about a year.

Is there some type of similar (driving) job that only requires a non commercial driver license that pays decently?

Thanks

How many sets of twins are in your family?

There's 4 sets in mine. Five if you count by marriage because one of the twins married a twin.

Does it often take 4 or 5 weeks for your sent postcards to arrive?

I'm new to postcrossing. I sent some postcards a month ago and they still haven't arrived. Sent from USA to Japan, Lithuania, Poland, Russia....

To everyone who brings their dog to Penn Treaty Park...

...and allows them to run around with no leash on. You are a entitled dirtbag. No exceptions.

I hope you step in dog shit and track it into your house. Have a great night.

What is ab English word in another accent that you cannot stand the sound of?

I'm American. For example Americans say tattoo like "TA TU" and Australians say tattoo like "TAD EW." I despise the way they say it 😂

People who started artistic hobbies later than most, what is your artistic hobby?

How/why did you get started?

How old were you when you started?

Do you make any money from it?

Does anyone have a phobia so bad they can't even look at a photo of the thing?

I have a fear of a certain insect. Literally scream and look away and sometimes throw my phone if it shows up on my phone or TV. I don't even want to type what it is because I know my phone will think I'm searching for this thing and it'll show up in a photo on a post somewhere.

Is there a name more confused for other names than this one?

This list of names:

Alicia, Elise, Alyssa, Allison, Eliza, Alisha, Alice, Alisa, Elise, Lisa, Alessia, Alisia, and probably more.

One of those names is mine. I have been called every single name on this list.

Is there another name that gets confused for other names more often than these?

I don't just mean spelling wise, like there are 50 ways to spell Caitlyn. I mean using the wrong name altogether.
