Quick functional restore of this sk ratchet found on my bike ride the other day.

I took video (phone set pointed at the work) would it be worth my energy to edit and upload it or is the restore space to flooded with fake restore videos?

Modified bike rack lets the rolla do truck things.

Got a hitch receiver bike rack, I made a roof level hauling attachment, so much easier to haul the ladder than trying to use our farm pickup (69 chevy).

4014, and Salina mural.

I forgot how cool Salina downtown was, after seeing off bigboy we wandered around waiting for cozy inn to open and we're absolutely blown away by so many magnificent murals on everything from old grain elevators to dumpster shelters. Would have had more mural pictures but the kids were in all of them.

Why are so many programs grayed out and non functional?

22.04.5lts

It seems (after much fillding) as though freecad is the only effected program saying it needs to be updated but the updater won't let me update anything says there are some updates (many programs) ready but not letting me do anything.

If anyone knows what's going on any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Are there any apps using front and rear cameras for cyclecam use?

I'd like to be able to record front and rear video from my phone. Saw a few vlog apps (adds) and 2 cycle apps (not dual camera) anyway nothing impressive. Have any of you found anything good?

My Samsung galaxy s10e can only use one camera at a time in the camera app.

Found this sewing machine in box in dumpster. Was able to patch the rip in a work shirt perfectly.

As far as I can tell it wasn't used much if at all. Athletics department gets money to throw away, mantance has to threaten to turn of hvac to administration building to get budget to limp along with 60yo equipment. Oo well we do occasionally get sweet perks like this.

Is there a bike camera that can detect a crash?

Seen a few posts asking about ride cameras and have been considering one myself.

My last crash I lay there on the train tracks for a few minutes before I could do a body check and get up. Most cameras run on a x minutes loop so if you or someone knows or is able to hit the save button in a useful time the event will be lost.

I haven't found one that detects falls yet but feel that would be a critical feature if you're trying to preserve the facts of a crash.

Can't find the tool, improvise it, promptly find tool (in grounds) but improvised tool works much better.

Striping and waxing floors.

Today's Ill advised build. Bailing wire fixed gear. Thought you'd get e laugh.

At 3am last night (couldn't sleep), had a idea. "I could bailing wire the freewheel to the hub of that pos parts bike and get myself a fixed gear to try." And today the hyper focus gods (fine bucket of squirrels) worked with the frog of joy (yes the frog was on the bike when I grabbed it off the pile) and I built it from just the random laying around and bailing wire.

This worked much better than I thought it would after about 3mi and some baby skids it has just a little play between the hub and freewheel.

It's so much fun.

Sometimes it's good to let the intrusive thoughts win.

Bad idea, but it worked. So much fun.

Been wanting to try fixed gear out, had this bike from yard sale rear rim was in bad shape (to bad for breaks) decided I'd use some bailing wire to fix the freewheel to the hub. It ain't perfect but it's holding well for now. Amazing what you can do with the junk laying around.

Fixy of the corn.

Frog chilling on the bike before the build. Bailing wire made it a fixed gear.

Aaaah kansas bad ideas are to much fun.

3am idea. Use wire to fix hub and freewheel to make a fixed gear setup without changing parts?

i picked up a beat up road bike a while back because it had almost new tires and tubes and a few other parts i could use for 20$. the rear rim was badly dented like someone used a pliers to do no idea what. assuming the rim and spokes are workable could fixing the hub to freewheel with wire work well enough to get a fixed feel for a fixy curious fellow?

Another transplanting adventure in our wonderful state.

Sand hill plumb saplings and a few cuttings as that worked so well with the Golden currents. Also made note of milk weeds so I can come back in the fall to collect seed pods to help the butterflys.

My wild yard has firefly, mowed area next door not so much.

Our yard only gets walking paths mowed we get so many butterfly, moths, and every other bugs you can imagine in ks. Mowed yard next door only has bugs in the treed areas, crops around are absolutely deserted of life besides crop.
