Question about SPD pedal styles
If my SPD shoes are already stiff (Shimano RX600), does an SPD pedal like this provide any added stability?
Or, is the type without the pedal cage part going to be just as good, if not better due to lower weight?

Nice review of the RS7
I’m a road bike newbie at this point, I’ve had an eBike previously and mountain bike when I was a kid. Sold the e-bike because I wasn’t getting enough exercise when riding it and it was way too heavy, and just not as fun of an experience to ride recreationally. Good for commuting though but now I’m retired.
I have to walk my bike out from my condo out to the street, maybe 50 steps - EDIT: it’s actually more like 200 steps- or so each time, would it be a a total pain to walk in the cleats like that?
I was thinking about maybe getting the type of pedals that have a flat side too, however most of the riding I do is for exercise on the nearby bike paths and general endurance runs, nothing too crazy, probably about 20 miles round trip most of the time.
I won’t really be using the bike for commuting but occasionally may use it for a coffee run or light errand.
I also plan to join some group rides sometime- how much of any inconvenience is it to have your cleats on when for instance, you’re on a group ride and you grab drinks or lunch or whatever?
Do you find that you sometimes have to carry your regular shoes in a backpack or something like that?
I’m just wondering what I would be sacrificing when clipped in with this pedal versus a dedicated clipless pedal.
Anyone know? I just want to have it for reference.
I feel like if you have good flat pedals that are grippy and don't allow your shoes to slide (I use Race Face Chester pedals),there is little difference with clipless. GCN even did a video where they tested it and there was no power or speed difference with and without clipless.
Thoughts?
Do our carbon fiber wheels even support tubeless?
X-LAB lists the weight only for the Large size of the RS7, 18.67 lbs. (link below). We can assume that smaller sizes weigh less and larger sizes weigh a bit more. Anyone know how much the other sizes weigh?
I’m particularly interested in the weight of the Medium as that’s the one I own, but for others it would be good to know the weight of the other sizes.
Also, is the battery in it user-replaceable?
There appears to be little information on that in the manual for it.
As shown mounted like in this video:
I know nothing about them but have heard of Wahoo and Garmin. Which model(s) should I consider?
I know they can do more, but right now I'm mainly interest in knowing things like my cadence and watt output and distance while I'm cycling.
It was a damn chandelier! It was so big. It wouldn’t even fit in any of my doors or seats, although did fit in this way if I bent it a little bit. Then it was rolling around in the back of my car so I had to reach back there and hold it as I was driving. Uber really needs to do something about vetting these kinds of deliveries.
Only made like $10 too.
With recent updates I noticed my font size went back to default, which is a bit too small for me. And now there’s no way to adjust it that I can find?!
I would like to get these bike pants.
