First car trying to find one that isn't in terrible shape.
Hello all looking to find one of these as my first car don't mind maintaining it. unfortunately half of the ones I see are so far gone from rust they are not worth it. I Do live in west Virginia which is not kind to older vehicles. Any advice?

Relubed my FD200,FD73,FD7 floppy drive lead screw motors I wasn't having any problems with them it was mostly preventive. Hopefully this adds many more years of life to it. FYI I didn't have lithium grease. But keyboard switch lube synethic grease can work just as well. The FD75 and FD73 were bone d

FD91 acting funky
Basically for some reason if I turn it on without a floppy disk present it thinks a floppy drive is in there and throws a disk error bc its trying to read a non existent floppy. However if I turn it on with a floppy present it works perfectly fine. I can get around this issue by turning it off Everytime I need to change a floppy. It works perfectly fine otherwise. Any advice?

most likely a long shot but i collect them and use them and i know basic repair but some of mine need repaired that are beyond my knowledge. I was just curious if anyone local works on them anymore or am i gonna need to teach myself.
