Several years ago, a church thrift store had a Tiffany box. There were a lot of postcards and a picture inside. Upon putting the postcards in order and reading them I read that this young man traveled around on holiday. He wrote postcards back home about his adventures. He was the first in line to get into see Paul McCartney. Sure enough the picture is of Paul McCartney in a Wing concert. It was better than a Tiffany find.

I sold an item that had signature confirmation on it. On the tracking it says they attempted to deliver the package and couldn't leave it. That was about a week ago. The buyer has reached out and said they didn't leave anything (a paper on their door or box). I went to my local post office. They told me they would re-deliver it again, if no one was there it would go back to the post office for them to pick up there. The tracking has not changed except for delivery taking longer than expected. Any advice on what I can do to locate this package? Should I submit a formal inquiry to the post office to locate the item? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a friend who loves to feed birds. I was at an estate sale, and they had a wooden flower box that had a birdhouse design on top. I found a wooden stand to place it on to raise the height. The planter has a whitewash look. I want to keep that look but make the stand I'm putting underneath it to look the same. I also want to know what I can use to protect the wood with from outdoor elements. Is there a stain that is best to do both? I'm a total newbie; any suggestion I can use that won't break the bank. I have all the big box stores near me....Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. Any help steering me in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

I have a question, I listed something awhile back and I had sent out an offer. I noticed that I made a mistake and was inaccurate when re-reading my listing. Can I take the item down (with me already sending an offer earlier) and re-list it? Will ebay ding me for that? Many thanks!

I received an e-mail from a buyer who said they were worried about a package being delivered to them. They said they received an e-mail telling them that. I asked them who sent the e-mail and they said e-bay on their personal e-mail site. I had already mailed the item around the time they sent me this. They offered to send me the message but on my private e-mail. I told them that is against the ebay policy and urged them to contact ebay about this e-mail. Am I being scammed? It's a PO Box delivery. Advice!?!

Hi, I shipped an order and they received it several days ago. I had a message sent today saying the item was broken with pictures showing it. If I refund them their money now am I able to file a claim with the shipper? 1st time this has ever happened to me, please help!

I posted an item yesterday. This morning I noticed someone was watching the item and was looking into sending them an offer. When I looked two offers were already sent. The weird thing is that not only did I NOT send an offer, but it was also well below the minimum that I put. Both show expired, which is weird because the listing was just posted so you would get 4 days. Very weird! Has anyone else had anything like this happen before? What did you do to fix it, so it doesn't happen again? Is this another ebay glitch?

My e-bay was having issues with eBay saying it's us, not you. When I could get back into my store, I had an e-mail from a buyer saying they purchased my item. I had no notification and I hadn't received payment for a while. The payment did just come through now though. The address they are having me send it to is an industrial park in the States. They asked me to send them the weight and also stated how they want the item wrapped in the package. They are worried about it getting damaged. Is this a scam? If so, how do I get out of the sale without getting dinged? My other guess is they are buying it and reselling it and just going to re-ship it. This is a new one for me. Help please! Thank you!

I had my listings set up for domestic shipping only. Today when I was posting I noticed that international shipping was showing up. Ebay automatically enrolled me in their program where you ship to a hub, and they forward from there. Within seconds of me posting an item I received an offer from a country in Europe. Do you use the program? Would you recommend it? I guess I'm wondering how they are figuring out shipping. Say I charged $6.85 in my listing. Is ebay then going to charge the buyer what it will cost to ship from their hub to their house or is ebay going to take that from me? That will cost a lot more than $6.85. Thanks in advance!

I just had an e-mail from ebay telling me my item has been taking down citing it breaking their rules. I have vintage sunglasses that have prescription lenses. There are other vintage sunglasses on the site that are just like mine. Have you sold prescription sunglasses before? How did you sell them? Would I put lenses need to be removed in my listing, or will that get pulled as well. Any advice is appreciated. I tried to talk to someone, but it is AI generated and not much help.
