i love complete silence and all my space.

Currently living with my parents b/c I'm in a transitional period of moving back from abroad and looking for a job, which I am grateful for. but I'm also just thinking about how much I can't wait to find a job and move out again and have pindrop silence and my own space.. I love living alone.

anyway that got me thinking this is temporary, but I can't imagine having to deal with screaming banshees which is like many years.. thats all

what vision practice worked best to improve your eyesight?

Hi all

I have high myopia over -7 in one eye and around -6 in one eye.

I am in my late 20s now so they are stabilizing finally . I did eye exercises around my teens after turning around 16 and that helped reduce my myopia progression a lot as before they would jump every time i made a visit to the eye doctor. So it only increased around -0.75 in the 10 years since i started doing those (but it was very on and off)

Now that they're finally actually stabilizing I'm hoping to decrease my myopia. I've adopted reduced prescription for close work or just lounging around the house (basically anything but stepping outside of the house to visit friends or drive)

I'm picking up eye exercises again. This time I'm trying sunning and palming as well. Anyone with similar prescription whos managed to decrease and what were your most impactful vision practices?

Hi all!

I was excited to see I finally got access to trial reels today. I wanted to ask whats the best practices? Also with my reach down since April 3rd , I'm hoping this is the way to recuperate my reach. any tips?

I already post once a day, also so I'm wondering if posting a regular post to my followers and then a trial reel will slow down their views, would they be competing?

So from April 3 my views have drastically dropped. To diagnose I saw it was slightly non followers but more so the fact the serving on the reels tab had dropped dramatically.

I’ve noticed views are quite stable still but with every new reel I post since April 7, the reels tab % is slightly trickling up. For instance before it was 1%, 7 reels later its now at 7%.

Im usually around 50% normally.

So has anyone experienced this? And how are your may numbers looking compared to if you had a terrible fall in April?

I grew up in a nonvegetarian household and was never too fond of eating meat slowly ate less throughout the years until I became fully vegetarian in 2022 around 24. In the end before i became vegetaria, I just felt guilty for even eating a little meat when I would. That transition was very easy and I don’t miss meat at all, can’t even believe I ever ate meat. I feel a lot better mentally.

However I had no idea about the cruel practices in the dairy market and only learned about this stuff every so recently.

I guess my question is how hard is the transition? I feel as a vegetarian I only get like 1-3 options eating out already at a restaurant and I also love to drink coffee eat cheese, pancakes, eggs, pastries. Basically a lot of food that has eggs or milk in it.

Is there vegan options for these sorts of things? I know theres different types of milk like oat and almond milk but how do you find options when eating out?

Edit: hi all thanks so much for the comments!
I’m gonna start with gradual steps, the first thing will be trying a vegan milk ! Plus one thing I realized is I’m a singer so win win there dairy isnt good for my voice either

I see a lot of viral posts like that and variations and these people are getting like a lot of followers.

I felt like its silly because they may get a bunch of followers who dont actually care about the real content but what do you think?

Because its crazy to see people starting their account and getting like 200 followers in a few weeks this way? Wondering if its not a good idea though

My edm song is sounding good but too chill before the drop. For reference I’m using loud luxury

Body song.

I know theres some more chill edm songs before the drop such as « beautiful now » zedd but I’m going for more energetic from the beginning.

Heree my soundss:

Music (before intro): shaker and clap

Intro: shaker clap, chords on two different pads. (One rumbly and one more atmospheric)

Verse: same as intro but I added a little bell melody

Prechorus: same as verse with a little arp melody

Chorus (before drop): same as pre chorus with one subbass and bass.

Buildup to drop: I drop the bass and add a snare roll and some faders

A half beat of silence after the buildup then it drops.

drop : only bass and kick

Post/chorus: kick shaker clap highhat, bass, chords.

The vocals are ok per section and fitting but when I listen to the music it sounds very chill and atmospheric at least before the drop. The drop hits hard.

Any feedback if possible on the arrangement choice?

I appreciate it!! This is my first production so please be nice😅😊

Basically i'm kind of wondering before I send my song out to get mixed and mastered, although I've already done the arrangement myself, songwriting , vocals etc. I want to know if theres like a thing that exists to get feedback with a producer on an already existing production, like like a hour review session? Is this a thing? Can I hire someone for this? And where? I did see some « first round of feedback » people on soundbetter but $99 USD for one round idk.. Or would that be enough? I can spend that if it gets me to the finish line.

I've put so many hours into producing this , But I feel like theres still something missing or maybe like hey it needs a little more energy so I was just wondering if this is some sort of service that exists. I don't want to send my song for a mix till I feel pretty satisfied with how the pre-mix is actually sounding production wise.. and I don't know how much feedback a mixing engineer would give since that's not their core job

Appreciate all the help! This is my first song so I'm sure next time will feel less nerve-wracking... Right now I'm here like this sounds good for a first song pre-mix but its missing that like chefs kiss you know lol. I am gonna give it till the end of this week to see if I can fix whats lacking and also choose different sounds bc its sounding a little too chill for my taste right now as an EDM song (or at least before the drop) and then after I would reach out to someone if still needed

I haven’t been able to get my views back up since what seems like an overnight drop since April beginning.

Has anyone else succeded?? I know multiple people have made posts surrounding this. I’m Still getting suck around 60 views every 2 hours… (when just posting it)

I saw some people make comments about trial reels but I don’t have access to thos personally. 😢

And it is not a content problem it was a literal overnigjt change
