Unsure where to start, so.. eyes? What shape are they and what makeup would compliment them?

Let me start by saying I was a pretty abused kid and I’ve been progressively disabled since birth so makeup has always been intimidating and it’s sat on the backburner while I taught myself to be a person, take care of my hair, dress for my body, etc. But I’m turning 30 on the 10th (🥳) and feel like it’s finally time!

All I really know is that my eyes are squinty. I used to have super dark thick lashes that’ve faded and somewhat thinned (partially due to Ehlers-Danlos). I know they’re my BEST feature so I think maybe I’ll start there. I look best in high contrast colors, I wear both silver and gold jewelry, I believe I’m a deep autumn(?), my eyes are hazel, and due to the EDS I have to use a good bit of under eye concealer. My current fave is Covergirl Trublend Undercover. Other than that and Clinique hypoallergenic mascara I rarely use anything other than simple cream eyeshadow base or Colorgram shadow milk from Miniso. Any help is appreciated, idek what areas to highlight etc, and I feel like if I know my shape I can find videos from there!

How in the world can I become conditioned with chronic migraines?

Seriously, I’m kind of scared that I won’t be a good candidate for recovery and they’ll stop trying to treat me. I’ve had chronic migraines since I was an infant and they’re still most days of the week. They’re mostly abdominal migraines so I can’t actually drink 2-3 liters of water any given day (at least yet 🥲 seeing a GI about the gastroparesis in late July) and I feel like I’m suffocating off and on from my sensitive nervous system. I’m especially triggered by the weather and there’s no getting away from that in Alabama.

Please share any similar experiences or knowledge you may have, I’m sure it’s partially this phase of the migraines but I’m feeling extraordinarily discouraged right now. I’m already having to get gloves and socks and such for swimming because I can’t use a rowing machine due to severe neuralgia and I can’t use a recumbent bike due to chronic sciatica.

ETA: I will say though, the abdominal binder they have me wearing definitely helps certain stages of abdominal migraines, so that gives me a bit of hope!

The eggs in my genoise concentrated and cooked, advice for attempt 2?

Could it be that the browned butter mixture wasn’t mixed into the rest of the batter throughly enough? It’s hard to tell when “just combined”is combined enough.

I’m also not great at knowing when the eggs have “tripled in volume” so I feel that they may have been under whipped before adding in the flour.

I hate having to rest.

I should probably be doing it more than I am but right now I’m in the recovery period after a (surprisingly painful) lumbar epidural. I fucking hate sitting around and I’m just angy gumpy about it.

I wish the disabled life was as luxurious as ableists think it is.

End of rant.

Help me find workouts for my specific needs please!

Okay so I saw an autonomic specialist (after waiting literally a full 12 months) and I need to start exercising pronto. I was told to only do laying down workouts, like a recumbent bike, rowing machine, or swimming. I’m aiming for swimming since I have awful awful coat hanger pain and chronic sciatica in my left leg, but I’d like some more laying down exercises for my core and legs that I can do at home! I have EDS so nothing yoga related please. Pilates is a major yes as long as the equipment is affordable. I’ve been waiting for them to check into my messed up neck my pinched vagus nerve before starting PT since I have cervical instability and don’t want them to make it worse. Any help is so appreciated, TIA! I’m excited to get better!

Do the mary janes go with this trench coat?

I’m trying to justify holding onto a Donna Karan trench coat instead of selling it 😅 I can’t wear most heels so I can’t do black stilettos like I’d want. At this point it’s these or Guess combat boots :/

The cold from the IV fluids I’m getting weekly to treat dehydration is triggering abdominal migraines.

I’ve never had quite an awful kick in the crotch. My rheumatologist said it has nothing to do with the Raynaud’s I started getting in January, but he also went on an unprompted rant about how fibromyalgia is a sleep disturbance and a disorder rather than a symptom set. So. Really minimal information there.

I’m dehydrated from abdominal migraines and I have to stop getting the IV fluids and vitamins that treat that.

I’ll never forget the day my dad came home with this story

Edit:
Instead of taking money without having the proper items in stock, they should’ve let him decide if he wanted to do that wait. Paying then doing a refund is longer than driving across the street to another fast food chain. A 12 minute wait during a lunch break when you could’ve been eating elsewhere is annoying. He has fault but I’m not blaming it 100% on him. My dad is a grumpy old man so now he has to drive to the further Popeyes. 😭😭

DAE get storm migraines that feel like they zero out your muscle memory?

Such a weird symptom. Dear god, everything is so laborious. Having to shower during these is the worst. I itch terribly, I react to everything I eat or drink, and it just genuinely feels like being a newborn baby again. I’m far too stiff and clumsy to do anything productive.

I’ve finally got my migraines other than these under control so this feels especially icky. But I’ve got Palia and Sonic Rumble and YouTube so cheers darlings

Little tasks I can do during fluids/banana bags that don’t involve red light therapy?

Hi y’all. I’ve started getting fluids every week and banana bags every two weeks and I love it so far. Banana bags are the best thing on planet earth, I feel awesome for days after!! (Bad absorption, I promise I’m trying) But since my ADHD is untreated I’m not much of a “lay back and relax” kind of person. I find activities relaxing and I’d especially love some kind of activity that makes me feel healthier or generally better when I’m done.

So, anyone have tips for what to do? Considering reading but my mom always comes because she has to drive me and trying to focus isn’t relaxing even on my own. I have narsty neuralgia so nothing with red light therapy, I don’t know if I’d try one of those masks even if my eyes could take it but I’m not against activities that are beauty/skin treatments. Obviously it has to be sanitary enough to be around with my IV in. Anyway, TIA ❤️❤️❤️

Fresh lip biopsy is killing me, tips please!!!

The Norco they gave me is not cutting it. I have trigeminal and occipital neuralgia. I feel like my brain’s on fire. It’s searing my eye and gums. Please please help

Update 12 hours later: hey so I feel a lot better now and I think I might’ve had an allergic reaction to the cauterizing chemicals 😭 I think the irritation on the extremely sensitive inner lip nerves was a direct line to my whole trigeminal nerve pathway. My lip crater is nice and pink again and I’m doing alright!

Sorry for the bad lighting, I have some fairly severe photophobia and it’s pretty bad today. Anyway I think this is pretty cute and I’m hoping to find a way to use it, the shirt is an XL but looks bigger than that. Doing a huge amount of wardrobe overhaul lately ❤️
