Osiris, the first mummy.

Long ago, in the land we call Egypt, there lived a sorcerer by the name of Osiris. Though mighty for his time, suxh that he managed to become king, he was not mighty enough, for in life his power would be equivalent to a modern day grade one sorcerer, this is in part attributed to his completely non-combat applicable cursed technique. Yet it is said cursed technique that allowed him to reach such a mighty status, and that will allow him to reach greater heights still. With the aid of his servants and countless binding vows, he underwent a process that would eventually develop into the process we call "mummification". And so as his corpse dreamt, he developed, changed, evolved, until he woke up. And lets just say, upon awakening his status as a deity became a lot less questionable.

Cursed technique: cultivation

Osiris could enter a deep sleep, during said sleep his cursed energy control, cursed energy reserves and cursed energy efficiency would increase. The longer the sleep, the greater the effect.

Journey to the Du'at:

Osiris' maximum output of his technique. Using countless binding vows and with the aid of his servant he entered a deep sleep while his servants mummified him alive. This allowed him to sleep for thousands upon thousands of years. Upon awakening he had the following abilities:

Gigantic ce reserves: comparable to the ce reserves of jjk and modulo... combined.

High ce efficiency: surpassing even that of Gojo

Cursed technique mimicry/creation: his control over cursed energy became so great that he could now mimic and create entire cursed techniques seemingly at will. Though for mimicry required some analysis of the technique first. If standard usage of a cursed technique is akin to letting electrcity go through an electronic device, then what Osiris does is by hand forcing the electricity to move through the empty air as if it is going through an electric device.

Weakness: as part of Journey to Du'at, most of his orgnas were put inside urns. Destroying these urns is akin to destroying his organs to the point rct would not be able to bring them back.

[WP] Congratulations! Due to the complexity of inheritence you will be crowned the ruler of an african nation. Two problems with that though: you are fully aware of how colonization ravaged Africa and how neocolonialism continues to ravage Africa, and you are white.

How would you make dr Doom?

I am aware that Doom would be too op, but I would be satisfied with a dr doom inspired character. A genius character who is a master of science and magic.

Why does dynamic magic cause paradox, but hedge magic, gifts, disciplines etc dont?

Dynamic magic causes paradox because it goes against the consensus, however, why are disciplines, sorceries and gifts exempt from paradox?

How effective would arkham origins' shock gloves be in real life?

In arkham origins, batman picks up a pair of shock gloves that escentially work like a combination between a very high voltage taser and boxing gloves, but how effective would this be sincr the contact time would be very short?

What do you think is the upper limit of "peak human" characters in fiction?

These characters are gonna be stronger than the strongest irl humans, but what in your opinion is the upper limit for these fictional "peak human" characters where you can say "oh yeah theyre peak human"? For mr, the absolute limit is small building level.

Small rant regarding how antisemitic and islamophobic discrimination instances are recorded in the Netherlands

So, I wanted to do some research on discrimination against muslims and jews in the netherlands and discovered something odd and frustrating. 86 percent of instances of discrimination based on religion occured against muslims. In 2025 440 such instances were registered by the police. That shocked me. 86 percent! While not even making up 10 percent of the population! But then I discovered something that pissed me off and really frustrated me. In 2025 there were roughly 800 instances of antisemtism with jews only making up 0.2 percent of the population. I thought "what, how can 86 percent of indtances of discrimination based on religion be based on islamophobia despite antisemitism having twice the amount instances? And then I discovered why:

Antisemitism is counted seperately.

Now this pissed me off since it not only does it put antisemitism on some kind of pedestal for getting its own category of discrimination, but its also frustrating when researching numbers. To illustrate this, here's the following:

In 2024, jews experienced 24 instances of antisemetic violence. In 2024 the amount of instances of islamophobia muslims experienced was... not made public.

Seriously, its nit made public because it falls under discrimination/violence based on religion or origin. I would have to go through every instance of muslim discrimination collected by the police and then determine whther it was a violent incident or not. That is bullshit!

And on top of that it results in misleading numbers. Like for a second I thought islamophobia occurred more than antisemitism in 20w5 when thats not the case at all!

Its dumb, its stupid, its misleading, its bullshit!

Anyway, rant over.
