Saw this great bluegrass band with the leader on mandolin tonight! Great show with their new lineup.
Pilates classes started again after the summer break. I switched to "strength pilates" this season and did pretty well. I have been going to pilates a long time, almost 20 years and at 66, there's still progress to be made, despite surgeries and aging. I am often the only male in the class which makes me wonder why guys don't do this.
I wonder if anybody here shares my experience? I am more nimble, have better balance, and can carry stuff around with no back troubles.
(...after SUMMER break)...In May, I (M 66) put together a spreadsheet of exercises and props to use to continue Pilates on my own. Summers are hectic with all kinds of projects, trips, babysitting, family, etc. So, naturally, I had a complete hiatus and the spreadsheet was abandoned as a "good try."
I changed to a "strength pilates" class that I tried a few times during the winter, and where I got some great cues from the instructor. I was a bit apprehensive as all I had done was chores and brisk-pace dog walks. But it went well. It was an intensive workout with a few complicated moves and modifications but I believe it's good for me going forward.
I persuaded my wife to take the class I had gone to before. That's a big win for me. Thanks for reading!
I put on these strings on this Aria I bought a year ago and (although changing strings is always a pain) they settled amazingly fast to pitch. Anyone have similar experiences? Do strings differ, in this respect, or am I just imagining this?
Southern Finland. I have never found these this far south, before.

Just so everyone here sees the gorgeous setup we have. We had 10th row seats, great view and sound. Second performance of the two. Standing ovation
Report once it's over; concert version with John Osborn and Gothenburg Opera choir & orchestra.
