How do I progress from here?

I've been on TL and MAM for a week or two now. On TL I have a 6.0+ ratio and on MAM I have satisfied 20 torrents and working on the next 20 with over 20k points. I have been queing for days to get interviewed for RED, but there's bound to be a power outage for 1 min everyday which disconnects me from the IRC and resets my position in the queue. So I'll have to get to RED through MAM too I guess. How do I progress in MAM I'm pretty new to private trackers. My target is Aither and EMP.

Watches similar to this

I'm looking for a watch like these 2 seikos under $200. The tilted dial is a must and a similar aesthetic. Don't suggest anything dressy like baltany please.

New to private trackers, where to begin?

I mostly watch remux films both new and old. I'd like to make my way to Aither and slowly to PTP. I don't know much about these rules and how the ladder works or how do I get in, but I do have a positive seed ratio. Are private trackers even worth it over public trackers found on 1337x if I sort from the largest file size?

How to properly setup PotPlayer for the best experience?

I watch REMUX films, so I want the highest quality possible. Although I have to make HDR videos look good in SDR because I have an IPS panel, HDR for it is more or less a gimmick. I have a 16" WQXGA (2560x1600) 240Hz IPS, 500 nits screen and a RTX 5060. I'd also like to know about it's features and what makes PP the best for you. I'm particularly interested in the subtitle generation features of it.

Is 1337x still the best place to torrent/download movies?

I've been pirating films for years now, before it was The Pirate Bay and YTS, then I stumbled upon 1337x through this subreddit. I always look for movies in the highest quality (REMUX). Is there a better source for movies now? Also are you all still using VLC/PotPlayer to play the movies or is there something better? I heard some chatter about debrid services, but I don't like the movement of *paying* for pirated media, excluding donations of cource.

Bonus Question: Is looking into Qbitorrent plugins worth it? Is it a better browsing experience than the website itself?

Chronic last-minute crammer about to start A-Levels (just murdered my IGCSEs) — Need heavy Guidance

Finished my IGCSE exams (at least part of it) and did horrible on most of them — retaking 2 subjects in October including the remaining subjects. IAL classes start soon, exams next May. I need to completely change how I study because what I've been doing clearly isn't working.

I understand concepts fine when I'm actively engaging with it in class or getting tutored, but I cannot make myself sit down and study independently until the absolute last second. For some exams I didn't open a book until midnight before a 2pm paper the next day, yes actual IGCSE exams I did not study all year and only started the night before. I'll spend hours doing genuinely complicated unrelated tasks (modding games, fixing software), to end up never actually playing th games or using the software instead of studying, even knowing what's at stake. No notes taken all year, no reviewing, nothing happens even though I started panicking back in November.

Has anyone broken a cycle like this? Specifically need advice on:

  • How to make starting easier (the resistance is to starting, not the work itself once I'm in it)
  • Accountability systems that don't rely purely on willpower
  • How people with similar procrastination patterns structured A-Level revision timelines
  • Whether anyone with ADHD-type focus issues (not diagnosed, but the pattern feels like more than laziness) found techniques that actually helped
  • How to prepare for A Levels without burning out?

Subjects:

IGCSE October: Maths B, Pure Maths, Biology, Bangla, ICT.

IAL MAY: Physics, Maths B

Additional tips is much much appreciated.

How can I optimize this setup?

Every time I want to play on my PS5, I have to unplug my laptop, peripherals and what not and put it to the side. Then I get the monitor in position, plug it in and the console and everything. It's very tedious there has to be a better way to set this up. I will not use the monitor as the screen for my laptop, I watch tv sometimes.

Ideas for my mom's online business.

My mom has been wanting to start an online business for awhile now.

She doesn't wanna do anything like cooking or baking.

Maybe something like selling snacks or cosmetics from Thailand.
