Nowadays she has kept herself more out the public eye but i think people growing up today wont realise just how big she was from about 2008 to 2014ish. I know it was just UK fame but in Britain it really did feel like she was up there with all the big female singers of the time. I mean she was on Graham Norton with Katy Perry who was worldwide famous but still got the first seat which is usually secured for the BIG guest.

I was in primary school during her peak. I was already a huge Girls Aloud fan from pretty much the moment i could think for myself. But she was so relevant and talked about quite a lot in school. All the girls thought she was cool and all the boys fancied her. I was known as the Cheryl fan so people used to come for me if there was big news like her malaria and when she did the Piers Morgan interview. It felt like the national panic when that episode released where she had collapsed. I was met by people at the school gates 😂.

Plus she had a lot of big solo songs but Fight for this love just felt the THEE song. I mean if i had to some up that time period of the UK i would choose that song.

But yeah nowadays it feels shes still known but not the kind of way she was. I feel there are more mixed opinions on her now. She gets a hard time for her vocals which i think isn’t fair. Shes not Mariah but she can hold a note. She sounded great on the recent tour

I like short stints because it feels realistic. Just because someone moves away does not mean they never visit again or go and see their loved ones. The only time i dislike them is if i think it’s a character who should be back full time. Who are some characters you would like to see back in a short return. Mine would be:

Sarah Hills - I think it’s all about the Beale side of the family but i think it would be good for some of Kathys relatives to show face. I thought it was a missed opportunity when she married Rocky. I think Sarah would be the best since she was a bit of a trouble starter and could ruffle feathers.

Lee Carter - The only Carter kid i actually like. Johnny in his return has been such a flop. I wish they brought back Lee. I enjoyed his short stint a few years back when Linda first started drinking. Would just be good to see him there for his mum. Although shes got friends etc i find Linda a bit lonely family wise nowadays

Claudette Hubbard - i loved her when she joined the show. I hated that they got rid of her she was a camp villain. She still has a grandchildren on the square and is in the dark about Vincent. Could make for some interesting scenes. I want to see her go up against Yolande. I want someone to bring that feisty side of Yolande out again

David Wicks - i just love him as a character to be honest. I know he has not got family etc left on the square however i think he has great chemistry with Cindy. If shes plotting against Max he could always help like back in the day with Ian.

Ryan Malloy - i love Ryan, tbh i would kind of want him back full time. I hate the way writers made him a crap parent just because he is off screen. Atleast we know Lily is in contact with him now. With Stacey gone and Martin dead it would be good to see him step up for her.

Belinda Slater - i loved her for the short time she was in it, i would like to see her come back for a bit because her on screen chemistry with Kat is just fire plus would be good to see her interact with Zoe as the newer actress never did.

Glenda Mitchell - Controversial opinion but i thought Glenda was brilliant. So devious and selfish. Would be good seeing her come back for Amy. We need some female Mitchell energy back (i know shes not a real Mitchell but still). Amy is also meant to be getting that inheritance money if the writers remember so i can imagine Glenda to come sniffing

Suzy Branning - With Max getting married it would be good for an excuse to have some past characters there. Suzy and him were close so it makes sense. Would be good to see her meet Phil again

Torchwood - First watch and thoughts so far

I am on my first ever watch of Torchwood (shocking i know) and i just got to the small worlds episode. I liked how dark it was although i felt sorry for the mother at the end.

I am low key convinced that the ending is how “Fear her” would have gone if Doctor Who wasn’t a family friendly. Well something like that anyway. I quite like when things dont have a happy ending. I would love more Doctor Who episodes like that. Especially with the Daleks i feel it would be good.

So far i have liked most episodes so far. Except the cyberwoman one. I kind of wish they just used a normal cyberman that still had memories of its old life a bit like Yvonne in Doomsday. It had good ideas but did not like the execution

I also like the fact the characters are a bit insufferable at times. Not a fan of perfect characters

I think the Slitheen would be a good cross over for this show. Because the idea of the slitheen is pretty dark but the farts etc make them family friendly. Getting rid of that they can be quite horrifying. Could see them making a skin suit etc

There was so much potential drama if Max had returned with AJ. Him and Cindy sharing a grandchild could have been interesting. I think it would be good watching them fight for custody as well. I think if Cindy is currently manipulating Max which tbh i am rooting for then i think this would have made it even more interesting

This is more aimed at people who watched it at the time. I have been a fan since even before primary school age but i am 25 years old so have not got memories of there initial rise to stardom etc. i have watched it a couple times but not as an original viewer

First ask is what was the opinion when they first won. Did people have faith that they would make it big after the show. Sound of the underground is such a classic song and sounds fresh even now. The lads never really stood a chance once the song choices were made.

Was Javine getting eliminated really as controversial as made out. She was a good singer but i never really got when the judges acted like she was gonna be the next Whitney or something. She was good but not the power house they made her out to be. I would even say Nadine and Nicole were ahead vocally. I think she also lacked charisma which Cheryl and Sarah had loads off. Plus Kimberley has that girls next door nice girl charm. I think if Javine had made the band they probably would have never had that rocky sound in some of there songs. I feel Sarah making the band brought that in. I think there would have been some clashes too over lead vocals etc. Plus the Alesha Dixon scandal and the Jamelia quote always floating about in my head when Javine is mentioned. MC Harvey deserves more hate though

Was there any girls when you watched that did not make it that you were rooting for. I quite liked Aimee when i watched

Was Pete Waterman seen as a pain in the arse by the public. It infuriates me that he would not give the girls any feedback or anything when they performed

Was it ever joked about that the cheeky girls who were used as a comic relief act actually had better careers than the boy group 😂

Yeah i died because of an evil group of mixpackers who i hope are sleeping with warm pillows tonight. But i spawned at the top of gondwa which for some reason i hate it up that way and rarely go. So instead of walking the whole way to where i usually hang about i just flung myself off a cliff. Wondering if anyone else has ever done this.

If i was something quick i might have just walked it but im a titan so could not be bothered walking slowly the whole way

Im in the minority who actually usually likes Zack but they have turned him into such a slimeball in the last year. I mean he always semi had it in him but all his likability just seems to be disappearing.

He doesn’t feel just like your ordinary promiscuous type i kind of want a storyline that explains why he is the way he is because Barney clocked the way he is with women. Because i don’t think he loves Vicki even for a second. I don’t even know if he loves Whitney. It just feels like a crashout because he was rejected. But it all sort of feels like it’s done for the sake of it. Max and Cindy i feel it’s pretty explained why they both sleep around but Zack just hops from one to the other with no deeper meaning wrecking relationships right and left.

I feel it could have interesting storyline potential if they delved deeper but a part of me thinks they just use him as an obstacle when they need to split a couple up or need to give a couple conflict but its getting boring

Its just happened today out of nowhere it felt there was suspicious something on my account which there wasn’t and has decided to lock me out.

I know my email and password. I even have face ID. I entered them but when i get through it says it needs a verification code that it will send to a number that i do not have. It must be an old number because i have had the same one since i was in school. But because its not the same number there is no way of changing it i cant do it so i have to fill out the form.

I have done the form a couple times but to no avail. Ive given it quite a lot of details come on its not that i even forgot my password. There should be easier ways of verifying. I feel i could get into my bank account easier than this if i forgot something.

I just worry because this email is linked to majority of things i have so i worry if i lose it i will lose them. For example i cant even get on my xbox because of it.

I pray its a glitch but doubt it, any help is appreciated

I think its obvious that Max is going to be the one who gets bored first. He has already shown signs of this when he got jealous of Grant and Linda. Clearly liking Linda more than Cindy.

However unlike a lot of other women i do not see Cindy taking it lightly if he was to start eyeing up someone else. It reminds me of when Ryan started cheating with Stacey and Janine started spiking him and even locked him in a freezer. Not to mention stabbing herself and framing Stacey.

I could see Cindy doing similar although not quite as far. She is the type who would definitely fight dirty. If he cheated with Linda i could see her trying to dip Lindas sobriety etc

Tbh i low key would have liked if it was Cindy who got bored first for a change against Max. Showing he really did meet his match. I see some people think its a revenge scheme being with him in the first place which would be interesting

Not going by realism but do you feel anything is over or underpowered

I feel Tylo is just way to formidable, maybe im just a crap player but unless i flee i am pretty much screwed the minute one comes onto the scene. I played as a spino earlier and it bone broke me and it was pretty much over in seconds. Didnt help that a T-rex was wanting to kill me on land too so i couldnt even flee there but still in general if you cant get close to land i feel i could never stand a chance against a tylo

Underpowered, this is unpopular but i feel Sarco should be a bit more formidable. I wish it either had a stronger bite or a tail attack. I was attacking a herb as a sarco and i bit it so many times and i just felt that it was doing nothing. It was too big to clamp

I am more meaning in the UK but i was just wondering how big Danni’s solo career was back in the day. We know she was not as big as Kylie but i actually like quite a lot of her solo songs. Very clubland/europop vibes in a lot of them.

I knew of Dannii growing up mainly from the x factor and being Kylie’s sister. I wasn’t old enough to really remember her fame when it came to singing though so just curious to how big she was

I was playing my Pycno and i went to get water up at Big Quill Lake and it would not let me drink. Said the water quality was not good enough.

I have played my Spino, Sarco and Titan up there and never had that issue. Hope its a one off because there is already little water sources. I am always suprised its not already busier up there

Maybe i am blinded by the fact he makes me want to part my legs faster than Cindy Beale around one of her in laws. But i honestly don’t mind him so far

The storyline around him is a bit mid but to be fair most have been recently. But as a character i don’t mind him. It will be good to see a softer side but its nice to see a new Mitchell on the scene

For me i would probably say are

Carcharodontosaurus - i know its similar to tyrannotitan but i have always just found them cool

Megalodon - i just think a big Shark would be cool and i think we need more aquatics in the game to fill the oceans

Brachiosaurus - Just think a really large herbivore would be fun to have. Plus if one clogged it then it would be a good food source 😂

inostrancevia - my inner primeval fan would find this cool, nice to have a four legged predator.

Titanoboa - i think a large snake in the rivers would be fun
