How flexable is the schedules?

I work for a school as a bus monitor and sub driver (CDL driver in training) and i do NAPA auto parts in between.

The issue is the distance from NAPA and the school its extremely tight time wise. O'Reillys is much closer to the school district that I work for.

I just want to know how flexible they can be with the schedule and how much they pay. I'm currently getting just a little bit over $15 an hour here at Napa.

Ideally I would like to try and get enough hours where I can get insurance But if I have to do it part-time I will. I'm just trying to cut down on the commute.

I know custom BIOS screens are possible but is it possible to have an animated startup screen that looks like the old school Award BIOS from yesteryear?

Im paring this with silverstones FLP02 retro case and want it to look like its booting like a pc from the 90s. I have attached an image below. (Sorry couldn't find the attach image button on reddit on PC so I had to use the attach link instead :)).

Manitowoc UCP0050A-161 not making ice. The evaporator that is inside the machine where the cubes fall from is warm to the touch.

I've acquired a unused Manitowoc UCP0050A-161 (not a drop of water has been run through it till today) under counter ice maker. This is replacing a Chinese under counter ice maker.

The story behind this one is the guy I got it from his dad does construction and renovation and this was acquired from a school district that is under renovation. His dad and the guy I bought it from claimed that it's never been used. I can attest from that because it does not have one single piece of dirt on the condenser coil underneath and the shipping styrofoam was still inside the unit and the dust cover for the water supply line was still attached.

However I got it hooked up got it plugged up but it's not making no ice. When I put my hand up by the evaporator where the cubes are supposed to come from it's warm to the touch and the whole ice bin remains around 70 to 80° f.

How is the process of game updates on the PS5? I'm talking about when a developer updates their game what's the process of pushing it through the interwebs at PlayStation?

DISCLAIMER THIS IS NOT A HELP POST! It's just a mere discussion of the mechanics of game updates for the PS5.

I'm just interested in how a developer when they find a bug in their game or a problem with their game they fix it and they push the update through PlayStation what's the mechanics of it like I know on pc/steam they can push an update rather quickly and it's not even a full download it's just a partial download.

Anyhow I know how they do it on PC I just want to know how Playstation does it.

Working on America's infamous window air conditioner. Midea U shape

Took it apart to do a deep clean trust me it needed it it was bad and I went ahead and replaced the fan cuz the old one was so caked up and trust me air flow is much better now.

I did do a mod on it 2 years ago for a quick unplug of the condenser fan.

If you're wanting to do the same thing and replace the fan the part number is in the last picture.

Now I can see if I can uncake the crap that's on the inside of the old fan....

This AC is almost 5 years old. Like I said long as you keep these things cleaned and maintained they'll work for a long time.

And as far as the mold problem goes that these things have I in the had drilled two holes in it last year but they weren't big enough so I made them larger for water drainage. And I cleaned up any existing mold with zep brand mold and mildew remover.

Planning on a domestic trip from Dallas Fort Worth to Palm Springs in December and I have some questions/need help.

American Airlines is the only one I found that flies nonstop between DFW and PSP.

I've never flown with AA and I want to make sure me and my mother has the most comfortable flight possible. She has never flown and ive only flown twice most recent being in 2017 with Spirit.

My mother has COPD and requires a POC. How do I "get permission" to bring this device onto the plane? She is going to see her doctor to do a flight readiness exam to see if she's fit to fly.

Our planned trip is going to be in december to go visit family (holidays are irrelevant). I want to possibly fly first class. how is the best way to get good deals on tickets? This will be a round trip. Is it better to go thru the official website or do I need to use a third party site?

What about carry-ons and checked bags. Do those incur extra charges or are they free? And what qualifies as a carry-on?

Do the planes have wi-fi and do they have power outlets to plug chargers in?

Im sorry if this post feels primitive I don't fly much and I just want to do this for my mom. any help is appreciated. :)

My echo dot has switched its voice to this upbeat one. I asked alexa to revert to the old voice but it doesnt sound exactly the same. Any way to restore the old voice?

Pretty much as it says my echo dot has switched its voice something completely different that caught me off guard. I asked it to revert to the old voice but it doesn't sound exactly the same as it did before cuz it still has a little upbeat to it.

Is there any way to revert to the old voice?

Is this one of those fly by night delivery companies?

I ordered something from Walmart and they shipped it with on trac and Walmart says it's out for delivery but on track says label created.

Am I going to have this by a.m. Tomorrow? Cuz if not then I need to cancel this order because if it gets here after tomorrow I won't need it then.

How often does Walmart put Walmart Plus on sale like the one that they just did?

I was going to do it but didn't to get my paycheck until this morning but the sale has already gone away (could have swore the timer said 7 days left when I looked at it yesterday)

And in case if anybody else missed it it was a year Walmart Plus for 50 bucks for the first year and then $98 thereafter.

Is there a way to block or stop the Alexa Plus solicitation?

Like when I use it to do something whether it be turn on a light or read my notifications she'll start saying something about Alexa plus and I can't get her to stop unless I pull the power cord on it.

Even commanding her to stop by saying Alexa stop doesn't do anything I have to either let the message play or pull the power cord on it and let it reboot.

Is there any way to block or stop this?

Does anyone know the Wi-Fi card specifications of the tcl 40s325?

I just recently installed a new network today and everything else connected to the access point successfully expect this TV.

It just absolutely refuses to pick up my Wi-Fi network. It'll pick up my neighbor's Wi-Fi but it won't pick up my own. I do have my SSID set to broadcast I just need to know the specifications of the wireless card so I can make sure I got the channel setting on my network set correctly.

I've already done the network reset the only thing I have not done is a factory reset and I want that to be a last resort option.

What exactly is a passkey? I keep seeing more and more services moving away from passwords and two-factor authentication over to passkeys. I was wanting to get more information about what they actually are.

If you have any kind of article or video about what exactly a passkey is please share it so I can review it. I just want to know exactly what they are because I keep seeing more and more sites moving over to passkeys.

For those who bought a Speed Queen FF7 front load washer, what pedistools did yall use?

I was doing some research on these and I found out the ones that come from Speed Queen do not have any storage drawers.

I would like to have under the washer storage if possible.

So if any of yall have this washer and used differant pedistools, id like to know what pedistools you used.

Thanks in advance.

Since the cloud gateway fiber has a SFP+ WAN port, i want to link it to my switch thats only SFP.

UniFi cloud gateway fiber and I want to utilize the sfp wan port that's on the back of it and I want to connect it to my Netgear switch which only supports just regular sfp and not sfp plus.

What all do I need to do this?

Can I use a direct attach cable or do I need something more?

It's a Netgear JGS524F unmanaged switch. I'm eventually going to replace this switch with a uniFi pro HD or something equivalent to it. But for now I just want to know if I can use a direct attached cable to go from the SFP Plus port on the back of the cloud gateway fiber to the SFP port on the front of the switch?

Are Vevor Ice machines worth a darn?

Me my dad are thinking about buying a Vevor ice machine and I want recommendations whether they're worth it or not.

I've had my spew of Chinese ice machines and to me every single one of them aren't worth the material they're made out of.

But trying to find a Scotsman or something like that it's just damn near impossible without spending 5K on it.

If anybody here has a Vevor ice machine and has had good experience with theirs please share it with us.
