Runner questions!

I’m a runner above anything else (although I switched to a Peloton for a couple of years but back on the road).

I’m in my first week and I noticed my “Garmin training condition” was lower than normal, even though I felt normal. Has anybody else noticed that?

I also have a lot more DOMS but I’m sure that’s just a sign I need more electrolytes.

Pace was same as always, so haven’t noticed a change in real performance terms.

Runners on it - how are you running metrics?

How’s the FS Bora Bora?

Very early days of planning as it’s a proper bucket list trip. We’d also go with our 12yo son… would it be too quiet for him?

48hrs in and regret it so much!

I’m in so much muscle pain, have the worst headache, feel like I’ve run a marathon, and worst of all I’m full but hungry at the same time.

Even the sulphur burps are passable but the PMS like pain is absolutely insufferable ;(

Please tell me it dos get better.

I’m looking at cheap-ish every day shoes. The two front runners are the Boston 13s or the Neo Vista 2- I’ve worn both adidas and mizuno and have liked the both as everyday shoes (just different models) . Which ones would you recommend? I’m training (very slowly) for a marathon, but I’m sure I’d definitely need to change them in 4 months when maybe I’ll be reaching HM distance. Right now my priority is time on my feet.
