I changed basically everything about him. I thought thr sculpt would be a better fit, but when I saw it in person, I knew I had to do a lot of stuff.

I slimmed down the jaw and lips, sculpted him a new nose, changed his smile to more neutral with air dry clay, sculoted his forehead, brow ridge, neck, shoulders, basically most other stuff too. Painted him an entire different colour, changed his hair... what is even left of the original?

Found her at a 2nd-hand store, but her eyes were wonky and the painting of her montrals was atrocious, so I decided to do a whole repaint.

Still in a very rough shape, but the basic function is already there. I need to buy some springs to stabilize the knee joint due to how wobbly it currently is, and I might use the plastic from the original to leg to make an outer casing for the front side of the prosthetic, maybe paint it black. I also need to work on the foot, as it is currently not really stable for standing. And then I'll need to make a second one, and the arms...

Nevertheless, you see the vision, right? I permanently inserted the connection point into the doll's thigh, and now I can just screw the prosthetic in and out.

He is still missing his glasses and I'll probably make him better wings, but I am really proud of how he turned out!

Right next to Elizabeth's wedding dress from Frankenstein (2025). I guess this takes the cake because of the embroidery and fur I had to work on.

The clothes for her are going to be a PAIN.

Her hair still needs to be styled and she needs clothes, but other than that, she is coming along nicely!

I got the ladybug doll for really cheap, but the caveat of that was the moulded-on mask. I had to shave off bits of the face on the forehead, cheeks and nose to smooth out the raised edge, then sand it to get the surface even. I think it turned out pretty nicely.

Yes, those are truly pierced through the hard plastic of the torso! So goddamn many of them, in the back too. A lot of work, but pretty rewarding. The purple areas still need refinement, but damn.

A fun project, though time-consuming.

Also a lesson on trusting the process haha. He still needs hair, but I am very happy with how my disney-princess experiment turned out.

As I said in my previous post, I have over 200 of these from 2022 to today, also adding one more to the count yesterday. I think I'll post them in batches of 10.

I have repainted the dolls, given them new hair and sewed all the clothing myself. Finally, I think these pics conclude my project for these two, which has been a journey of more than half a year.

So, back in 2022, I set myself a challenge of drawing one Star Wars character per day to practise realistic drawing, starting from the preguels. I got to around ~200 drawings before losing interest, and in the past four years, I've managed to add about 34 to the list. So, in total, I have 234 drawings of Star Wars characters, and that number might still go up. Here's the first 10.

She is supposed to be Elizabeth from Frankenstein (2025). I sewed the dress myself.

Came up with the pattern and sewed the dress all within today. It has been a long day, but from beginning to end, I just needed to trust the process and I think it turned out great... especially considering how tiny this doll is - the waist is probably half the size of a regular barbie's.

Not because customising the doll was particularly difficult, but the fucking dress!! I went through months of procrastination while trying to avoid it. In the end, I managed to make the pattern AND complete the dress within a single day, thus completing the doll. She still needs a necklace, but other than that, I am pretty happy with her.

She is originally a mermaid odile, but to get the proper height difference with the Creature (pic 3) I swapped her Mattel's Cho Chang doll body. That body is TINY, which made the dress all the more difficult to construct.

Back in january, I made a custom doll of the Creature. Now, Elizabeth joins my collection. (I had finished the doll months ago, but procrastinated on making the dress. I spent the whole day today on it).

That plastic hair and terrible face didn't give justice to the head sculpt.
