I recognized those creepy eyes on my 3rd coin and what do you know, a W!

What is it with me and bat Ws?! I tried giving them all away a few weeks ago but they still haunt me. On the up note, this is the nicest condition one I've found so my album is getting upgraded.

I'm pretty sure I used all of my luck for the week now so I'm not getting my hopes too high for the rest of the bag.

Finally posting my search results to my own sub. Huge thanks to u/counterstampkarl for sharing it.

All around pretty solid results. All of the silver halves came out of CWR's except 1 40% in the Loomis boxes. It seems like the silver has dried up a bit in the boxes as I'm sitting at 1.78 silver halves per box (excluding the 28 boxes of pure 2024d).

My favorite finds were the Columbus commemorative half and my first 2026 coins! Can't believe I found a P&D set in the same bag.

For those curious about the counterstamp coins, here is a link I posted a while ago. Short story is I'm seeing how long it takes to get them back in circulation. This makes the 11th coin out of 673 that has returned home, but I'm still getting plenty that aren't stamped.

Now for the fun part, returning $4,460 in change. How many boxes of donuts should I bring with me?

Edit: forgot to mention the 1971 & 1973 are electroplated.

I'm behind on my weekend coin hunt from having company stay with us but I pulled this out of a Loomis roll.

Final results coming (hopefully) later today if I don't get too many crazy calls at work.

Got some nice bonus rolls at one of my Friday pickups and found the first morel of the year.

They love me, I love them!

Looks like I wasn't the only one around. Bonus if you can identify any of the 6 species of tracks in the last picture.

Hint: 3 of them are predators

Found 3 Ike's at a bank on my way to grab my favorite $2.41 lunch. I used the 3 Ike's to pay for it and you can bet your butt I dropped them about 9.5" above the counter to hear the clink/clank/clunk...lots of weird looks, would not recommend 😬

The change went into the Children's Miracle Network bin. Pretty cool.

After lunch, I stopped by another bank and they had 21 more Ike's 😂

Found a few half dollar rolls as well...

My kids love these things, I have too many 😅
