The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are Kanji Tatsumi in Persona and Espio the Chameleon in Sonic the Hedgehog, only because those are the only game franchises I play with such characters, but I'm aware a lot more than that exist, so I'm curious if anyone else knows any other characters like this.

A "shower question" if you will that popped in my head out of curiosity. Like Hbox has been playing Puff for decades but as far as I'm aware I've never seen him touch a Pokemon game, so I'm curious if there are any top players that got into a series because of Smash.

1. The Gourmet King 2.0 except he actually realizes he needs to change after nearly dying, and decides to make the MC his personal coach. As each rank of the SL progresses he gets more and more slim until he finally becomes Yusuke-sized at the end.

2. The girlfriend of one of your party members that tries to have MC evaluate whether or not their relationship is gonna work. This one has 2 possible paths, one where the MC can tell her to break up with him, or to stay. If you choose the former, you then get the option to romance her in a later rank.

3. Velvet Room attendant(s), but instead of bringing Personas with specific abilities, you need to do some kind of ridiculous mission while in a dungeon (such as "Have party member #3 finish the battle with an All Out Attack" and it finishes with something ludicrous like "Defeat the Reaper with a very specific skill"). Once you reach rank 9, the final rank mission will be the ultimate challenge: Defeat the nose himself!

4. A student at your school who was recently kicked out for being something their parents don't like, and is now completely homeless and lives on the street. Hanging out with the MC allows them to strengthen their resolve to try to win their parents back. When that doesn't work, they ultimately decide to move on and takes up another student's offer to live with them.

5. A special needs kid at a school/center the MC can work at. He is always the first kid dropped off and the last to be picked up, which the parents say is because they work multiple jobs to sustain the family, but MC learns that it's because they go out drinking and other dates because they almost want nothing to do with him. However, MC later discovers that the kid is a savant in something like music/chess/etc. and decides to confront the parents to show this. When the parents realize that they have a way for their kid to be happy, they decide to start being better parents and do what they can to allow his future to revolve around this talent.

Like what if he's some whitewashed half-Japanese dude from America who decides/is forced to spend the next year living with a host family, and because his Japanese is rather rusty, it would explain why he doesn't talk nearly as much as the others, but it gets better with time as seen in his vocabulary during dialogue options later in the game.
