I rarely cry when I read books or novels but fuck I was straight bawling while reading this. Our boy came so far. The best part of it all was when hitogami was trying to ragebait him but failed lol. Rudy realizing that he has everything he ever wanted, him finally accepting himself for who he is and not that shut in from his past life. Him telling the man god that he didn't hate him all that much in hindsight, it's all so fucking beautiful.

This story may not be a redemption story but I can say for sure that it taught me that just about anyone can change

It's definitely not Roxy I'll tell ya that much. I haven't finished the show but purely from season 2 and reading volume 16, I think it's slyphy.

I know that the whole point is that he isn't some superman but damn it, he might as well be with the shit he's gone through. He's such an amazing guy

It's been a bit since I've read arc 6 but I remember something along the lines of her basically nearly erasing Subaru's existence and essentially stealing his very identity. I don't think Subaru would've been capable of using rbd to ever fix that.

Don't care if you think post time skip is bad, it has its upsides too lol albeit not many. But overall, what aspect of writing (like characters or plot or whatever) do you think one piece excels at? I'd say world building.
