What's a good bleed stopper kit?
We want to put this in a home workshop (table saws, stuff like that.) There are multiple options, like:

Any recommendations? Anything that needs to be avoided?

So, I am helping a small local business update their website. The previous person doing this - the business owner's husband - passed away four years ago, so there's a lot to update. We were successfully able to transfer admin privileges to ourselves after submitting documentation to the hosting service (bluehost.) So now, using the Bluehost control panel, I can get into the basic HTML and make small changes - but I am sure that the previous admin used some kind of interface. It doesn't seem to be Wordpress, though I'm not sure. The hosting company's tech support hasn't been helpful. Is there any way I can figure out what the previous admin was using to edit the site (we have no access to his records or computer.) Thanks.
We already had to switch off hybrid mode and go to straightahead electric, because hybrid was throwing an error last winter. We’re getting hot water just fine, but I just noticed these rest stains today.
They don’t seem to be in a download process - these are the way they’ve stayed for hours. It’s an SE3 running 26.5.
I don’t know if it is even out yet - but I am currently using a pair of HomeBase 3 units. They’re OK, but I often notice video lag when trying to, for example, communicate with somebody at my doorbell. I’d love to correct this, and I’m fairly certain I’ve tried nearly all of the troubleshooting and networking mods that I can.
That said, the new HB is expensive. Has anyone done any direct performance comparisons?
I’d like to get an orange for a small office with a few 2gb connections. We use Gold in another location with many more devices and a separate mesh system bridged over. The small office has a mesh system I like, so I’d like to bridge that over to the orange (in other words, use the orange with it’s internal WiFi disabled.) Is that possible?
I have been using FatCow for (dormant) webhosting and webmail, as well as parking a couple of domains. They seem to have vanished and I can’t access my login to switch hosts. Any ideas?
My son is fascinated by demolition (who wouldn’t be?) Is there any kind of master schedule of planned demolition so we could find one near us and maybe watch?
It was between 1965-1969. My aunt (left) is visiting, so maybe it is a nearby tourist spot, like the Heidelberg castle.
Beets, garlic, sour cream, dill, cucumbers, and a little sugar.
I’ve received one shipment and am ready to order a refill. Can somebody explain the refill process in excruciating detail? I assume I need to use the Healthie app, and I did fill out a questionnaire yesterday, but it would be great if the entire process for existing customers was explained (I didn’t receive an explanation when I first signed up, I think because I was already on GLP-1 medication via my PCP, but insurance stopped covering it.)
I appreciate the help I’m getting from BEWL reps here, but detail is lacking. If it is easier, I can pose my query in the form of questions.
Thanks.
Is there some kind of attachment I could use to drain my dehumidifier right down into the sink, above the P-trap? Kind of similar to the way a dishwasher might drain? The dehumidifier has a pump so going uphill is not a problem.
…and Pilates is what holds me together. I’m also a Pilates instructor and if anyone needs support after cancer - and especially if you had major abdominal surgery, as I did - send me a DM. This is not a promotional or a commercial post, I’m just offering to help, as I was helped during my experience, no money involved.
I have a ten-year $250,000 policy that expires this year. I am now 64. My payment for the policy has been about $500. The renewal price is $1400 - just for one year - and is renewable more or less indefinitely, but at a price that would be determined each year. ( have been dealing with cancer for the past five years. It is currently in remission, but is likely to come back. Though I’d like to live longer, the odds give me five to ten years. So a couple of questions:
- I assume the insurance company knows about my illness, and that’s why the rate has increased (in addition to just being older.) But I don’t know that for sure.
- Their customer service agent told me that the cost of my annual renewal is determined 60 days before the renewal data, and she couldn’t give me a prediction or range. Does anyone here know what I can expect? Whether to keep the policy would make a difference if the payment was, say, $1500 and going up $100 a year versus whether it could skyrocket into many thousands of dollars.
- As a point of reference, I have two minor children who will likely be going to college in the next 5-10 years.
- I am still working and plan to continue to work.
So, any thoughts on how I can predict the premiums going forward? And - I’d love opinions - should I renew?
Anyone know what?
It seems that bearing kits - as well as complete third party pitchers - are available, but my gut says to go with the genuine Vitamix replacement, even though it is pricey (USD$175.) Anything I’m missing or need to consider? The unit is more than 10 years old.
I buy and repair Pilates reformers for professional studios here in the U.S. Recently, the reformer manufacturing sector in China has really upgraded. Dozens, if not hundreds, of manufacturers are now offering what appear to be studio-grade reformers for about one-fourth the price of the bespoke U.S. makers who sell them. I have been able to check that the dimensions (critical) of the Chinese reformers are within spec, and I know from experience (I’ve built my own reformers and other pilates equipment) that the U.S. custom makers are charging a lot of money for products whose raw materials are very inexpensive (that’s fine - the business model has worked.)
I’m considering importing a few of these reformers to see if there’s a market for them - I think there would be - but how do I choose? They all seem to offer the same basic product at similar price points. As I noted, making a reformers isn’t hard, so I feel that most would do a good job if they wanted to. But how do I judge that?
