Metronidazole

I got prescribed this 3 days ago for a bartholin cyst and it’s been the medication from hell and after copious amounts of research it seems the majority of people have some sort of issue with it so I just wanted to pass along some helpful info I’ve experienced

After 2 days of the worst symptoms an antibiotic has ever given me, I found someone claiming that it depletes you of B vitamins and to take that along with the pills. I figured why not bc what could possibly make this worse ya know?

So I bought a B complex vitamin and took it yesterday along with my bactrim and metronidazole and I’ve noticed the symptoms are no where near as bad as they were!!!!

I definitely still feel them a little, esp the metallic taste but I don’t feel as much brain fog or as much anxiety as I did the last 2 days.

Hopefully this helps someone :)
