Any idea when/if USB is planning on adding transfer partners?

I have 56k in points sitting in my US Bank AC account for 3 years now. I was planning on cashing out last year, but then I read the rumors of USB adding transfer partners 1Q this year. That obviously didnt happen.

I am just thinking of cashing it out into my bank and calling it a day if USB is not planning on adding partners soon.

I cant figure out how to activate Paze.

I have my cell number and email both active on my Chase account that has Sapphire, Freedom, and Freedom Unlimited.

I don't have the Chase app. I tried to find the paze on the website, but couldn't find it. I went to https://www.paze.com/offers and clicked Activate Paze. When I enter the cell no or email, both are not getting verified.

Is there a specific way of doing this?

7ft x 4ft east facing balcony. Has anyone made DIY gazebo or bought one?

I tried to find one on Wayfair and Amazon. But they are all mainly 8 x 5. There are a couple 7x4 but they are over $150 and dont look that good.

So I was thinking if I should do a DIY. I am hoping for a shade not just on the top but also on 2 sides.

How do I change the text box in the form of the list so that the box shows larger than one line?

I have created a list. I have a description column in the list. it has the following setting:

Multiline of text

number of lines of editing: 100

Rich text (Bold, italics, text alignment, hyperlinks)

append changes to existing: no

When I try to enter a new ticket, the description box shows in one line instead of a larger box where I can manually change the box size to show the text in it. (something similar to how reddit has it's boxes in the title and text when you are trying to create a new post).

How do I do that? I tried all different things gemini, chat gpt, and other tools have told me to do. nothing works.

I am the owner of the list and have full edit right to it.

is it just me or the current bank's customer service is completely incompetent?

I tried to pull funds from my TD bank through the current app.

The transfer doesnt show in my pending transfer section nor anywhere else.

I connected with the chat support. Initially, it connected me to an AI chat box. After a few back and forth, I asked to connect to a human.

Although it says it did, I have a strong suspicion that it DID NOT do that.

The human name Ryan started with the same generic excuse for it not going through as the AI chat.

I then pushed back and told him that is not the transfer i am talking about.

Then he says, the merchant you are trying to make PURCHASE from has blocked the card due to fraud.

I told him, I don't know what he is talking about. I don't have a card, nor am I messaging about any purchase.

Then he says, "Oh, the transfer was cancelled. don't know why. try again."

I tried again, and it gave me an error of "daily limit reached".

So I told him that, he says, you are trying to transfer money OUT of the account and hence its limit is reached.

I told him, I have not made any transactions. so how could i have reached a limit and that I am PUTTING MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT.

He then says the same thing again. so I told him. i am not MAKING PURCHASE NOR TAKING MONEY OUT. I AM PUTTING MONEY IN MY ACCONT.

He then says, i cant give you any further information than that. try again tomorrow. and if it happens again, message us again.

WTF kind of customer service is this?

he seemed to be just talking out of his ass without even looking into anything.

I bought a used EV from CA in state dealer in March. I have still not received plates and title.

I reached out to the dealership. He is not responding.

I have an appointment with a local dmv tomorrow. I will take the signed copy of the paperwork I have. But what else should I ask the dmv to look up?

What questions other than the status of license plate and title should I ask to get a better quicker response from the dmv?

I am trying to transfer money from TD to Current Bank. The ACH keeps getting rejected and TD wont help.

I opened the Current bank last week. I then connected the bank to my TD Bank. I got the microtransaction for verification, I verified it, and it went through.

A few days later, I tried to transfer the funds. I got a rejection message. I called CS, and they said to wait for 24 hours. I waited 72 hours. still the same rejection. I called TD CS again, and the lady, after doing some research, said TD is not allowing you to transfer the funds for "security reasons". They don't have any more information. There is no security or fraud team that can look into it. Just try to transfer the funds some other way. WTF?

Does anyone have any info on how to reach a competent CS team at TD Bank to get this resolved?

A good car wash around PQ that wont leave streaks on my TM3.

I got Equinox last year. I went to the Genie car wash and it left my nee car with micro streaks. I also went to self wash in poway, and even the brush used there left some streaks.

I am trying to avoid that in my TM3. Any good carwash I can go to will avoid the micro streaks in PQ or surrounding areas.

For those who use chat gpt to create tool. Do you feel that it forgets the context if you start the conversation after a break of a day?

I am creating a tool in the power app. When I provide information on the functionality, it will ask for some clarification. But by the time we finish getting all the information, it has already forgotten about the point of the conversation.

Is there a way to fix this?

I just finished my SAN - NRT RT in J. It got me thinking about all the money I have saved since I started this hobby.

Do you guys keep track of things like that?

This was the 1st time I bought tickets based on the availability of J. It was both of our 40th and our little one's 3rd BD. So we wanted to make it count. We wont be going on vacation for at least a year.

Each RT ticket was about $12k. We got each RT J for 110k + $250 due to a well-timed JAL 30% promo on venture. The economy (which is what we would have flown) was going for $1500.

In 2024, I spent 80k points on VS + $1500 for 3 economy RT from LAX to BOM during Thanksgiving to New years Eve(due to system error). The going rate at the time for EACH ticket was $3k. 9k total. We got our $1500 back due to UK261 rule.

Last year, I was able to get LAX - INV - LHR - ZRH - LAX for 3 for 98k points + $900 on BA econ. The going rate was around $2k for each ticket.

Last year, I was also able to get SAN - EWR RT econ on AA for 60k for 3 during Christmas break a month away. The going price during booking was $1.4k for each ticket.

I am sure I am missing a few that I cant recollect. I have hardly ever paid cash price for tickets after starting this hobby.

Its crazy how much churning SUB can payoff.

Trying to decide between logistics of triple dip CSR or apply for elevated SUB.

Last week, I saw a post about triple dip CSR VS. elevated SUB.

After reading the post, I thought of holding off on CSR.

But after further research, I dont know if I can manage the logistics property or if I will technically have a plan to use them.

those who are planning the triple dip. What's your logistical plan?

I was thinking of opening the card on 10-15 dec (hopefully, both p1 and p2 get approved). I will intentionally stay around 3/24.

I hate the Citibank card, and it's stupid ass customer service. They charged me AF for AA card they got from Barclays. But won't refund it when I close the card.

Last year, I applied for the Barclays AA card. They transferred the card to Citi this year. When I tried to cancel it, they had supposedly already transferred the card to them. So they told me to call Citi to close the card. When I called Citi last month, they told me to wait to get the card in the mail or until I see the card in my account to close it.

I still didn't get the card, nor do I see it in my account. I called them to close the card. They were able to close it. But they are saying that because Barclays charged me the AF in Mar 25, and they received the car on Apr 27, they can't refund the AF as it's outside the 37-day window. I explained that, back in March, when I tried to close it, Barclays didn't have access to the card as they had transferred the card. and they guy kept repeating the same thing over and over.

I asked him who has my $99? And he confirmed that Citibank has my money, and they expect me to pay for it fully. WTF kind of nonsense is this?

Do I have any recourse here? I am guessing, I am an edge case scenario so not too many DP available. I have this issue with me and P2.

I have a bunch of transactions on my card. It triggered a fraud alert and they asked me to call the fraud department. The number provided online just go to VM. WTF kind of service is this? such a shame.

I got 75k points comped because the 1st incompetent dealership couldn't install the infotainment pkg correctly.

Tldr: 1st dealer didn't install the pkg correctly. The concierge couldn't figure out why. 2nd dealership was able to after 5 months of back and forth. Got 75k points for my trouble.

The saga started back in Nov 2025. I went in for my 1st checkup. I asked them if they could install the infotainment package. He told me I needed a bulletin number, and even if I gave him now, it won't be done today. That sounds fair, I guess. No worries, let's set it up after my December vacation for the 1st week of January.

Come back from my vacation, I realized the module had stopped working. Womp! Set up a check-up during the same time as my installation. He tells me, "Yes, the module is indeed broken. We need to wait for a month to get it fixed. But, they will install the infotainment, and it will start to work once the new module is added. That spunds suspect. How can you add software without the proper hardware. He assured me it would work.

Mid Feb, I get a call, the model is delivered, and I can finally get it installed. Wait there a whole day as they dont give loaners and only provide Uber within 10 miles. What a BS, but again, I am beholden to them at this point. After the module install, I noticed none of the infotainment software is there. I asked the service guy that I dont see the software. He says, "What do you want me to do. I my computer it says its installed. He won't come out to see what I am talking about. (I created a post about this at the time) Tells me to contact concierge service. The number he gave me was the wrong number, which was a third-party insurance.

I left the dealership after waiting to talk to someone for 40 mins. No one would help me.

I called the concierge number I got online. She literally just tells me to turn off the car and turn it back on after an hr. What a dumb ass advice. I called a few more times over the next 2 - 3 weeks. No help at all. I resorted to waiting for my OTA turn.

A month goes by, and the infotainment is still not showing. At this point, I figured I might as well try other dealerships. But none of them would provide loaners. I called the concierge again. This time, I will find out rental reimbursement. The first 3 guys didn't know the rules. He told me to rent a car and submit paperwork. If approved, I would get reimbursement. Well, wtf if I dont get approved? No answers.

A week later, the 4th guy was the most helpful and knowledgeable. He guided me through the whole process. But he figured, before actually going to a new dealership, let's see what's going on in the car and paperwork from other dealerships. He had no updates about my car. The dealership never sent any updates to the gm about the service records. Over the next 2 months, we went on a fact-finding mission together. The dealership was non responsive, and even after escalation, they provided the wrong papers. At that point, I just went into the dealership on my day off and got all of the service records. Scanned and emailed it to the concierge.

He couldn't make heads or tales of it. And just told me to go to another dealership. I waited for a whole day there as apparently, all dealerships in my county have the same no loaner policy. And GM car rental policy didn't cover 1 day fix. I finally got the illusive infotainment pkg. The tech was able to figure out that the OTA was also not working as the dealership i bought the car from didn't update the car before selling it to me.

After 5 months of nonsense. I was finally able to get things to work. I told the concierge that I don't want anything other than a follow-up to know the update on what happened to the money. 1st dealership changed, gm? He said he would call me back in a couple of months. He, too, was annoyed by them and had already escalated the matter and put them in a review. He also said he would try to comp me for them, putting me through this. I said no need, but thanks. He insisted, so I said sure. I was expecting $50 GC. He emailed me a week later with 75k points. Worth $750. My one whole monthly pmt.
