Highest HYSA without max limit to park 100k

Apparently, my parents (75) have 150k in WF savings accounts, literally getting .1%

That's right.1 not 1%. I had no idea about this.

He doesn't want to put it in high div stocks like jepi. I explained that is what i have done for mine. So i have to find HYSA. I found a few with 10k max at 6% but nothing above 4.5% without any max limit.

Newegg things to buy part 2

2 weeks ago, I created a post asking users to mention what they were buying with their $10 credits.

It gave me some amazing ideas, so I thought of creating another one as the credits come to a close.

My rule was buying things that'd be cheaper than amzn after $10 credit. So if amzn has the same thing for $5 while new eggs for $10 after taxes. It's still free for me.

Here are the things I have bought and my rating on quality on some of them.

Durable Labels for Kids' Gear, 3/4" x 1-3/4", Assorted Border Colors, Water-Resistant Labels, 60 Total - $12:

Fashion Angels 1000+ Cute Stickers for Kids - $ 13

29000PA Cordless Hand Held Vacuum - $ 15 (bought twice. One for each car. Works well enough doesn't hold charge for more than 10 minutes at highest suction.)

LCD Display Memory Function Infrared Sensors Forehead Thermometer Baby $15 (works well)

Wind Chimes Large Deep Tone Chapel Bells 6 Tubes Outdoor $13 (good quality)

Command Outdoor Terrace Hooks, 2 Hooks, and 4 Strips $ 11 (bought 4 of these for outdoor light hanging I Havnt had a chance to use them)

KUTLER Professional 8-Inch Bread Knife $15 (works well. Dont know how long it will last)

Stainless Steel Semi-Automatic Whisk Egg Whisk $11 (works well. Dont know if it's really rush proof)

Esoulk Universal Magnetic Tesla Touch Screen Monitor Mount Car Phone Holder $14 (really well made product)

Voniko Ultra AAA Batteries 24 Pack $13

Massage Gun, Back Massager $11 (good for price but not as strong as others I have used)

365 aluminum foil $12 (the worst purchase for price for sure. Was just starting to use credits and didn't know what to buy)

STEM Car Model Kits $14 (low quality, but my kid liked the activity).

Jansicotek Universal World Wide Travel Charger Adapter $12 (good quality)

Smart Gear 40" Bluetooth Telescoping Extendable Monopod Selfie Stick $11 (well made)

Professional Camera Tripod Stand $12 (very low quality and not sturdy But would work for even surface phone pics)

ENERGIZER-BATTERIES EN91 24PK ENERGIZER AA INDUSTRIAL $15

Fcviacy 7.1IN Heavy Duty Tent Stakes, 10 Pack Rust Resistant $13 (well made bought 2 orders)

Waterproof Phone Pouch,2 Pack $10

Otstar Jar Opener $14 (good quality)

Scrubbing bubbles Fresh Gel Toilet Bowl Cleaning Stamps $10

Techsmarter 10000mAh Waterproof and Wireless Charging 18W $16 (works really well)

Maximm Cable 3 Feet Flat Plug Extension $13 (works great)

3 bags Reusable Car Cleaning Gel Slime $11 (def not reusable)

7Pcs 3-in-1 Cup Lid Gap Cleaning Brush & Straw Brush Set $11

Garbage Disposal Cleaner and Deodorizer Tablets 20g $13 (not good quality)

EBL AAA Rechargeable Batteries 1100mAh 4-Pack + Smart Battery Charger. $14 (works great)

IHE Bluetooth Speaker - HD Sound, IPX5 Waterproof $15 (by far the best buy. Really good sound)

I'd love your list with item and price.

DP: P2 was able to extend marriott's 5-FNC.

I remember a few recent questions about Marriott 5FNC extension.

P2 called initially in jul. We told the CS that we can't travel as we are expecting. The CS created a ticket for the back office to look into it. He said we should hear back in 7 -10 days 12 days later, and we called again. They said no one had looked into it. They escalated the ticket. Gave us a ref number. Told us someone will contact us in 3 days. 5 days later, we called again. Again, they said no one had looked into it. We asked to speak with a manager. She said that whoever said 3 days was incorrect. It'd be 10 days.

At this point, we had zero hopes. We were ready to book a shitty hotel in crap destination just to use the 5fnc. But today, when I checked marriott. It was extended by a yea 2 days ago.

Just an FYI, if you call for an extension. Call closer to your expiration date. When they extend, its from the date they extended. Not from expiration date.

Do you guys try to plan a baby in a way that all obgyn + delivery cost happen in same year?

For my 1st kid, we conceived in early Oct. So, all of our OBGYN appointments + c-section all happened in the same year. Because of that, our OOP cost was all in the same year.

This time around, we will have mar delivery. So all of OBGYN appointments will happen this year. And separate cost for delivery.

Because we are on the HDHP plan, we have to pay $4k in deductible this year with all of obgyn and other bloodwork visits. Then, I will get a full 8k OOP next year.

I saw at least 10 leopard sharks today by the Marine Room.

If you have been contemplating going to the Shores. I think today and tomorrow seem like the perfect days. The water was crystal clear. Visibility was at least 15 ft. The water was calm.

I saw so many vibrant fish, and of course a bunch of leopard sharks.

More importantly, I don't know exactly what I saw and would love to hear from you guys what it might be. It looked like a juvenile leopard shark. It was smaller than the leopard sharks and didn't have any lines or spots. Also, it was very blue. I saw three of them. They were all near the cave area's grass. They were also faster than the leopard sharks.

Have any of you seen it? I have no idea what it might be.

I will have $1,750 monthly preschool expense i can pay with CC no fees.

I am way over 5/24, so I can't get Chase cards. Preschool doesn't accept amex.

I just got the GM biz card. It has 100k SUB for 5k spend. I am going to use that for the 3 months. Jul, Aug, Sep

I had the venture last year, and p2 had it 3 years ago. So I can't get those.

We both got the SUB for AA select, AA red, atmos, HA. I got GOLD, and p2 got bilt palladium.

Right now, we are using 2 card setups. Gold for food everything on bilt. It keeps it simple for p2.

I love the GOLD, so I am thinking of getting that for P2 (if she is approved for 100k sub) once my AF hits in March next year. That will be our new all food spending card. Just like my current gold. If she is not approved, then I will keep my gold and put food spent on it.

Likewise, I will try to get palladium for me in Jan so that I can put all my non-preschool spend on it and utilize all bilt cash towards points on mortgage. (Currently, I have noticed we put at least $2k of non food spend on it.)

For the preschool, I am thinking of starting with GM biz for my p2 in Nov, then, likely one of the cap bus cards every 3 months for p1 and p2. This is all just for $1750 preschool spend.

What do you guys think of this plan? Open to any suggestions or concerns.
