I respectfully rant on here every so often about the Bay Area or the East Bay in particular.
Besides living in San Francisco, Marin (❤️) or parts of Oakland I absolutely do not understand the appeal here where ALL factors are considered. San Diego all day long but I get it…tech light.
I’ve lived in CA, CO AZ, MO, FL and Thailand. They all have pluses and minuses obviously.
I would still take a lower cost of living (especially housing) over the Bay Area any day.
