Rory and Jess really have some amazing chemistry which she didn't have with Logan or dean. Listen Ik Jess is a crap bf to her and she deserves better than him.

But there is some just electric chemistry idk it's like they are actually in love. The way she looks at him she didn't look at other bf the same way.

This is my opinion y'all can disagree

What's your unpopular opinion about the show.

An unpopular or controversial opinion about the show?.

I'll go first:

This show focuses on romance too much like give me a break every season Lucas has a new gf.

I feel like I've been betrayed when it comes to Nathan and Lucas. The relationship they solve rivalry quickly didn't give them much screen time and brotherhood moments It sucked because they really have an amazing brotherly chemistry tension together. I honestly enjoy Lucas and Nathan scenes more with each other, Dan etc than I ever did with their flip flopping gfs.

Show should focus more on sports, basketball but they literally neglected this storyline for no reason.

They drag love triangle for so long. I honestly wanted lucas to be single and have his own storylines ngl.

I really love Haley and Lucas friendship in s1 I think they robbed us with not giving them screentime together and when they do they just talk about their relationship problem.

Haley wasn't that wrong in the entire Nathan/chriss situation as everyone makes her out to be.

We should've seen more friendship scenes of Brooke and Peyton instead these 2 were just fighting ugh!

Lindsey's storyline was so unnecessary and wasn't needed at all.

I feel it's weird people blame Karen just because she rejected Keith like it's her right lmao.

Idc about this show romantic relationships but can't deny the electric chemistry Brooke and Lucas have just felt real ngl.

I agree ngl!

I ship so many bi characters with each other they have chemistry and it's not even a joke. Dean and jess are one of them.

Rory is 3rd wheel between them ☆ •͈ᴗ•͈🦢

Rory and Paris obviously.

Something I'll never understand.

That Brooke "stole" lucas from peyton argument. It never makes any sense to me. He's simply not a decoration piece which can be stolen by anyone lmao. He has a brain and makes his own decisions. Brooke didn't provoke him he was clearly enjoying and hooking up with her in s1 she didn't force him to do so.

And it's 2026 can people stop acting like A person stole C person from B person Damon stole elena from Stefan , Conrad stole belly from jer, Brooke stole Lucas from peyton, Jess stole Rory from dean. it's high time people need to accept that central person in love triangle have to love both it's point of love triangle. It doesn't mean they are "stolen" just because people don't like ships doesn't mean they're stolen. Once and iconic lady said It's ok to love them both 😃

Making Dan killed Keith was a bit diabolical.

No but literally he turned from complex to such an evil jerk. And the atmosphere is so serious and sad I'm missing old vibes like wth.

Wdym KEITH DIED? And Dan still ends up getting redemption like plz it doesn't make sense bye.

What I thought this show would be would be what ended up becoming omg I shouldn't have this much high expectations.

I just wanna jump into the screen and give Karen and Lucas a tight warm hug like plz.

I feel I'm the only one who's not interested in this show romantic drama much.

I literally STARTED it for Nathan and Lucas brotherhood I'm so frustrated they didn't get any scenes together much the rivalry resolved so quickly without any buildup . I was more interested in Lucas family dynamics and struggles rather than the girl he's sleeping with in the current season this all hurt his character so bad btw.

I really didn't care about any ships In s1 but I admit I started loving Brucus in s2-3 because of the actors chemistry. Other than that idc about ships of this show much.

I wish they explored Lucas more issues like hcm, abandoning issues, family dynamics instead of making him a trophie who needed to be won like ughh! He didn't have any of his own storylines from s4 onwards irritating he's literally main character. I enjoy his scenes with Dan Scott sm idk why. I think he was peak in s1 and In s3 both by look and character vise.

Writers making characters romantically love each other just because actors dated will never be cute to me.

I actually really hate it. 2 actors dated in real life and their characters have to be together in the show while it doesn't matter how much it will disrespect the show and other characters.

I understand the natural chemistry between actors and all but fan service honestly never makes any sense to me. My reason to not like it is because when actors broke up the chemistry faded and writers either decided to go back to their original plan (which feels force as hell after everything that happened) or writers continue with the current ship but now chemistry was completely gone between actors.

Examples: Elena and Damon (tvd) , Rachel and Adam (THEO.C), Lucas and Brooke (oth), Dex and dev (dextor), Natalia and Charlie (st), Joey and Pacey (Dawson creek), Blake and Penn (gg) etc.

Unpopular opinion: Lucas is the main and the biggest victim of this show.

Lucas gets way to much hate but that's due to writing being unbalanced.

I think writers did him dirty first they planned Peyton would be his endgame which is good than they decided to go towards fan service because actors are married completely overshadowing Leyton to a point that they get extremely less screen time than actors got divorced so they decided to go back to Peyton this entire back and forth hurt his character so bad he's literally giving love speech to both and cheating on both like? and personally I hate when writers go to a ship just because actors dated (Damon and elena, Brooke and Lucas, Jess and rory, joey and Pacey etc) makes no sense to me ngl. I mean these couples weren't intended as endgame and longer romantic arc as they get it all because of views. Brooke and Lucas weren't even intended to be a thing in the pilot. And no I'm not buying he hid his feelings for Peyton and chasing others yada yada Peyton was single In the end of s2 starting off s3 he still was so In love with brooke to even think about Peyton. being jealous she has a bf when he didn't have to he made it clear and was continuously telling how's he's the guy for her During these seasons and he's telling same thing to others they never even address Peyton feeling for him in these season. And completely erased their dynamics+ chemistry help sm and all in their case as well writers really make Leyton so friendly Peyton was rooting for them like why?

Why all this? Because writers just want views they DC about story logic. All this makes Lucas a bigger liar. he literally hurt both not to mention a introduction to Lindsay? Like plz give him some good storylines outside love drama. His basketball passion is gone, how the feelings of 2 girls effect him was never addressed, his abondoning issues were never addressed as well, his heart condition was barely addressed. All forces love love love drama. Honestly all this is reminding me of tvd where Elena was always "supposed" to be with stefan but Ian Nina dated so Elena got with Damon completely disrespecting her character she got no storyline other than being a stefan and Damon prize and her and Stefan relationship was completely sideline (same as Peyton and Lucas) Making stefan their relationship therapist (exact same thing they did with Peyton) And the entire brooke and Damon being insecure from Peyton and Stefan wasnt because writers were planning other couples endgame is because writer want us to hear how Elena and Lucas always love Brooke and Damon and never cares about Peyton and Stefan and tell about it 24/7. Anyways, the actor split apart so leyton got together again. Stelena was also going to get back together but Nina left lmao. The fan service of certain couples is beyond irritating. I'm 100% convinced if these actors wouldn't split up writers wouldn't bother to even consider other endgames giving how forcefully it all started the retcons for delena my gosh and how Lucas is all head over heels for Brooke in s2 out if nowhere. Honestly it doesn't matter if reddit love stelena and Leyton more but the majority especially when the show was aired prefer delena and Brucus. The amount of hate Peyton gets just because they aren't endgame and the amount of hate Stefan gets just with the idea of he and elena were supposed to be endgame need to be studied imo.

They drag the love triangle for longer imo and that's why I don't like the love triangle the central person didn't get any independent storylines and these characters just end up cheating both partners. This honestly makes the character so unlikable he went from being the main character to a prize which Peyton and brucus have to win lmao.. I'll never understand why writers always do this to their own main characters. By s4 he was completely side line and lost in this crappy love triangle drama. Lucas stopped making real choices based on his own beliefs, goals or future. Instead his entire existence was defined by which girl was chasing him which girl was mad at him or which girl he was currently letting down. He didn't have personal goals he just had romantic reactions. A main character should drive the plot with their own desires, but Lucas became completely passive just a static object that Brooke and Peyton fought over.

Ngl I love him the most when he's with Dan scott. his scenes with Dan are just so good I love it. I wait for the scenes between them. Dan's way of talking and expressions are so funny man. I end up laughing. He and Nathan have such a less brotherly scenes makes me frustrated I only started this show because of their brotherhood. I was more interested in Lucas family dynamics and his struggles than his love dynamics.

Idk what to say but im frustrated I started this series for CMM because he left glimore girl only to see this is what they did to his character lmao not continuing anymore I'm done with love triangle crap. S1 was best. I'll go as far and say a side character Tristan is more interesting than the main character Lucas. At this point I'm hoping him to be single. Lucas character have way to much potential man.

Ik this is extremely long I just have to get it out of my chest. Let me know how y'all feel about it?

I love Lucas and Brooke rain scene.

Idk if I'm supposed to find it romantic or what. But God I absolutely love it. The chemistry and the way they're yelling at each other and how he said he loves her and the kiss after that it was so wholesome. They have the best chemistry out of everyone idk it just feels real.

They both were looking so hot as well. Also idk but they both look really good in this season. Brooke bangs and Lucas hair suited them so much. I can't stop adoring them as individuals and as a couple how good looking they are especially in this season. They had the best glow up Lucas's s2 buzz cut wasn't my fav but this haircut absolutely ATE.

This is my fav season y'all everything is just at its peak.

Side note: I find mouth pretty cringe in this episode. And yes my fav Dan is mayor now let's see what he will do stakes are high.

White swan vs black swan.

Saw this edit just on TikTok and it made sm Sense for some reason. I never thought about it that way? The entire being perfect to burn out Rory's journey was so tragic.

White swan vs black swan. I personally prefer Chilton rory everything about her in earlier seasons screams perfection.

What y'all think?

u/tulipholic — 2 days ago

Idk why but I like dan Scott.

Ik he's a villain and a trash character and a horrible person but he's so funny. The way he talks makes me laugh so hard he also did have his human moments when he saved Lucas from an accident and all . I enjoy his acting so much. His and his wife some scenes are fun to watch. He's so entertaining to me the actor did a really good job.

Y'all I literally wait for his scenes to come. I enjoy him so much. When Keith goes to confront him because of his wedding issue Dan reaction and expression were so funny man.

Does anyone else feel the same?

reddit.com
u/tulipholic — 3 days ago

Opinions on Karen?

Idk I don't like her. She didn't go to support Lucas in the very first game, she blamed Keith and kicked him out after the accident (understandable) yet she talked with Dan nicely (something his son pointed out), she flirted with Keith rejected Keith proposal, she didn't get lucas bailed, she had this desperate need to threaten Julie and ruin the wedding, she make brooke do her cafe work because apparently she "pay her money" like girl?

Not only this but how she even talks to Dan after everything that happened is beyond me. She always slaps when she's angry like girl?

In glimore girl sub someone was comparing her with lolerai I was agreeing with them that time but gosh hella NO! Lolerai is far better than her.

Also when Lucas cheat on Brooke she didn't say much Ik Lucas is stupid I hate him for what he did but that said he's a teen with no father girl your son is cheating and you're saying nothing to him teaching him no boundaries?

I'm on s2 and she's frustrating.

reddit.com
u/tulipholic — 3 days ago

Idk why but I cannot stand Lucas.

Idk if this is a popular or unpopular opinion I'm on s1 pretty new to fandom and I had to get this out of my chest.

I used to feel bad for him in earlier episodes because of the entire bullying/ kidnapping and abandoned by father. But My gosh, why did he cheated on Brooke? And didn't think it was necessary to tell her. She literally was devastated when he almost died because of an accident.

My question is why the writer wanted to make him a big cheater and completely jerk character and then act like he's this misunderstood poor pure tourcher soul who did nothing wrong.

How am I supposed to like a cheater main character? And what's frustrating is that no one holds him accountable. He gets whatever he wants. The entire world revolving around him is frustrating Everyone has to leave their respective things they're doing for him. When everyone tries to take care of him after an accident he's throwing a damn attitude for no reason.

I feel he literally has both girls dancing on his fingers and he's using both ( I'm not a big fan of love triangles anyway it always includes cheating whether it's tvd, oth, tsitp). The weird problem he has with Haley and Nathan's relationship is irritating. He was literally yelling at her for getting a tattoo as he himself didn't do the exact same thing. I just wanna know why writers wanna make us hate him so bad. Idk he's reminding me of Elena gilbert (tvd) they both are literally insufferable cheaters yet according to show they are this tourcher pure soul. They should meet and marry each other lmao literally male and female versions of each other.

And I'm so tired of all the main characters in every show doing cheating on everyone and the narrative justifying it by "etc character is only 17-18" or "feelings change" . CHEATING IS CHEATING PERIOD!

I don't see him and Peyton as some "epic love" both are cheaters. I feel so bad for Brooke can't even explain in words. And because of all this I think Nathan should be older one he give older brother vibes. Lucas is extremely immature and I sometimes forget he was supposed to be older.

The only thing I like about him is his wardrobe lmao. Outfits are so good.

Alexis bledal is the most gorgeous girl.

Whenever I'm watching glimore girls I always end up adoring how gorgeous she is. She's literally perfect. And her baby voice in s1 and her awkwardness She's an angel fallen from heaven. Yk what I'll date her. Rather than her Toxic boyfriends. I'm team Rory.

u/tulipholic — 4 days ago

Unpopular opinion: this scene isn't cool and only shows how ill-mannered he is.

Edit: Reposting it again because I worded it wrong what I meant is "ill -mannered" forgive me.

Man I hated it sm. I'll never understand how people can enjoy or justify it. Tristan was pure crap to dean in this scene and I hate the entire "fav dean hater" like no! imagine some random guy who came into your work place humiliated you and then threw money at you.

I feel so bad for the dean. He was just 17 years old and was assaulted by luke ( the actual person who has anger issues btw but no one wanna talk about it) , was bullied by Tristan, entire town turned against him, Jess bullied him, rory cheated. I'll be depressed if I were him ngl. Dean isn't perfect (especially the entire sleeping with Rory and cheating on his wife) but my gosh his hate is forced. "He's abusive, Rory is afraid of him, hes physically violent towards her yada yada" like? What? 😭🙏

And the entire hating on dean because he beat Tristan and Jess like? Jess was literally assaulting Rory so idk how people even hate dean for that. Tristan was deliberately provoking him and bothering Rory. Dean actually did right thing.

Trust me I'm not a fan of dean but this forceful hate force me to defend him.

Tori Vega is an absolute icon.

Outfits? 10/10

Hairstyle? 11/10 love her hair and cute styles.

Body? Absolutely tea

Actress? Absolutely diva

Height? Same as me 5'5

I'm thinking of watching this show just because of her and I already know I'm team Tori. Tori Vega is absolutely perfect ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧

She kinda resembles Nina Dobrev to me.

u/tulipholic — 6 days ago

Hot take: Writers did dean so dirty.

He was started as a caring teen boy who loves Rory. No he wasn't perfect because he's human and a teen boy who doesn't have much experience either.

First Tristan bullied him for no good reason than when he and Rory broke up the entire Town suddenly had some weird beef with him. My gosh if I were him I would be depressed. Not to mention Rory cheated on him as well.

Dean wasn't mature on how he handled the entire situation but let's be real no one of us would be. This fandom gives him a really hard time and unfairly hates him so much. While defending Rory,Jess, Logan, lolerai etc.

I just got to know that the dean will leave the show after the s5. Ik I would miss him but I'm glad the actor left for his own good and did a really good series super natural. Glimore girl did both dean and his actor dirty and he deserves better.

Ik I'm going to get so many donwvotes as this sub hates dean but Idc about downvotes.

Wahaj and Madiha have a really good chemistry.

Ishq jalebi is such an underrated man. I miss when we used to have good Ramadan dramas now Ramadan dramas just lost their spark.

Anyways back to ishq jalebi this drama is underrated though I hate how basim treated bella at first (SAC writing can't expect a good male lead giving males of suno chanda). But chemistry was still there and the characters were fresh to me it was a fresh pairing. I miss Wahaj Ali in this type of drama. This pairing is underrated. (✿ ♡‿♡)

Power Puff girls "mime for change".

So I was just searching about this topic on reddit why they beat him so bad after he turned good. And I saw a post in the fan theory subreddit. Which said this episode is about a bad touch.

And the rainbow after becoming mime might have done something awful. After becoming mime he "touches" everyone and eventually everyone loose their happy colors and become lost. I think if we follow this theory it kinda justifies Powerpuff girls beat him but anyways it's just a fan theory.

What y'all think about it?
