Promoting your app

Hi all, I am a new dev and was wondering what are the best ways to promote or get my app in front of its audience. Trying here on Reddit is hit or miss as it sometimes breaks a self promotion rule. Not looking to make millions, just get my app out there a bit more. Thanks in advance.

SLP Flow ToolKit App - App Store

Hey all — I’m an iOS dev and built SLP Flow ToolKit after hearing from a few SLP friends how scattered their workflow tools were (separate apps/spreadsheets for caseload, fluency counts, SOAP notes, etc).

What it does:

\*\*•\*\*	Caseload management with goals, session notes, and progress tracking
\*\*•\*\*	Real-time fluency/disfluency counting (9 types) with on-device speech recognition for %SLD and severity
\*\*•\*\*	MLU calculator, DDK calculator, session timers
\*\*•\*\*	Auto-generated SOAP notes and home programs
\*\*•\*\*	Clinical reference library (artic/phonology norms, dysphagia/IDDSI, voice, AAC, fluency techniques, CPT codes, goal bank)

Everything runs locally on your device — no cloud account, no data collection, no subscription. One-time purchase.

Would love feedback from actual clinicians on what’s missing or what would make it more useful day-to-day. Happy to answer questions.

SpokenFlow - I built a voice journaling app because I kept abandoning written journals — hope it helps someone else too

I've tried to keep a journal probably a dozen times. I'd buy a nice notebook, write in it for three days, and then never touch it again.

The problem for me was never the wanting to journal, it was the friction of sitting down and typing or writing. By the time I opened an app or found a pen, the moment had passed.

So I built something for myself: you just press record and talk. It transcribes what you say in real time, and when you're done it automatically generates a title and summary so your entries are actually organized. Everything stays on your device, no account, no cloud, no one reading your thoughts.

I called it SpokenFlow.

I'm not posting this as a big launch announcement. I just genuinely hope it helps someone who's had the same problem I did. If you've ever wanted to journal but couldn't make it stick, maybe talking instead of writing is the missing piece.

It's on the App Store if you want to try it, there's a 14-day free trial so you can see if it actually works for you before paying anything.

Happy to answer any questions about how it works or why I built it the way I did.

ElecFlow - An Electricians Toolbox (iOS/iPad OS)

Hey everyone, I built an iOS app called ElecFlow and wanted to share it here.

Tired of seeing electricians juggling the same handful of calculations on every job, voltage drop, wire sizing, box fill, motor circuits, either doing it in their head, hunting through the code book, or using some janky online calculator that requires cell service. I built something actually designed for the field.

What's in it:

Calculators: Ohm's Law, Voltage Drop (with NEC 3% pass/fail), Wire Ampacity off Table 310.12, Conduit Fill for EMT/PVC/RMC, Residential Load (NEC 220), Box Fill (NEC 314.16), Motor Circuit Sizing (NEC 430), Transformer Sizing, Power Factor Correction, Short Circuit/Available Fault Current, Battery/Inverter Sizing, Conduit Bending (stub-up, offset, saddle, back-to-back)

Field tools: Panel Schedule, fill in a 20 or 40-circuit directory and export it as an image to leave in the panel door. Inspection Checklist, rough-in and trim-out checklists for residential and commercial with flag/note/share.

Reference: NEC Quick Reference (40+ articles), Wire Color Codes (US/Canadian/IEC), Torque Specs, Electrical Symbols, Resistor Color Code.

Completely offline. No account, no subscription, no ads. All NEC data is baked in, nothing needs cell service.

Would genuinely love feedback from people who'd actually use this, wrong NEC values, missing or useful tools, anything that feels off. Happy to keep adding stuff if it's useful to you all.

Note-Due: A note taking and task manager app built into one.

I found this cool app. The idea: You can take notes and tasks at the same time within a note. Then manage the tasks in a separate tab.

Life sure has changed. One funny example I had to donate all of my old dress shoes. Lol none of them fit anymore. They kept falling off my feet. Did you know your feet could get fat? now you know.
