What was your reaction to this scene?
I found it funny and kind of cringey.

I found it funny and kind of cringey.
What if the same thing was done with Adam? Like they advertised a Hazbin hotel short when it was actually just a music video about Adam singing about how great he is.
That actually would be really cool.
I used to look at this scene and think “what’s the big deal?” And didn’t really get why people were so uncomfortable by it.
Then I thought about it and if this was done with one of *my* favorite characters (Charlie, Emily, Sera) I’d probably feel just as uncomfortable with it.
- prettier.
- funnier.
- has not placed a hit on her ex.
- does shit herself.
- capable of basic empathy.
- tries to help even when it doesn’t work.
The only thing Stella does better at is being a parent and that’s because Verosika isn’t a parent so Stella just wins by default.
Both in and out of universe.
Reset the counter I’m talking about Stolas and Octavia again (here’s a Verosika for your time).
The correct answer is absolutely not because we are all absolutely deranged but it would be fun if she did more stuff like “what songs reminds you of my characters?”
Maybe it’s with Val and Angel and it’s more possessive and demanding instead of upbeat and encouraging.
Though I guess that’s what poison is.
I was in disbelief at this scene. I was thinking “Angel
You idiot what are you doing!? We’re so close to getting you redeemed! Don’t stop now!”
Of course she’s not the saddest or most tragic character but I just can’t help but feel for her.
Her mom left without an explanation, she blames herself for her mom leaving, she had to watch her people get annually slaughtered for seven years, she's been mocked for just wanting to help, she has catastrophic thinking and viewed her life as worthless if she couldn't prove redemption was possible, she was probably forced to rule hell because Lucifer was too depressed, serious abandonment issues and low self confidence.
I think reason why some people might not feel bad for her is because well she has a good life and because she downplays her own problems. We see her do this in the very first episode of the series.
*insert long ass paragraph beating a dead horse*
I know the only similarity they have is that they both have rosy cheeks and they both wear bow ties but it’s still something I like to believe.
I remember long ago in like 2018 Viv said that Angel valued innocence. Now I know that was like seven years ago but I feel like that part of her character is still shown in his relationship with Charlie.
Despite how badly Charlie messes up with him he never seems to out right hate her. Sure he gets very mad at her but it never comes across like he doesn’t like her.
This is because Angel values Charlie’s innocence. This value could come from his sister who was a lot like Charlie or it’s because he lives in hell where innocence is a rarity.
He could do the most genius thing imaginable and I’d go “that’s Vox for ya” then do the dumbest thing imaginable and go “that’s Vox for ya”
Don’t just say her ass.
Like I see Charlie rambling about how everything is her fault and I’m just like “awww poor bebe”. Meanwhile Stolas says he caused all of this and I’m like “yes. This is your fucking fault”.
That’s fucked up considering Stolas’s situation is way worse than Charlie’s.
"But we already know what we need to know!" No we don't.
We just know that Verosika said I love you and Blitz freaked out and stole her car and maxed out her credit cards, but like….that’s a very concerning reaction to something so small.
I get that Blitz has issues with showing affection but his reaction was so extreme that I can't help but wonder what his relationship with Verosika was like.
Has Blitz stolen or broken Verosika's property every time she showed affection towards him? What happened if she wanted to hold his hand did he just throw her phone into the nearest river? Even if it’s too a lesser degree than how Blitz broke up with Verosika, if Blitz had a habit of breaking Verosika’s stuff whenever she showed affection than I’m pretty sure that would classify their relationship as abusive.
