I recently launched r/MorphyChess, a small community around a chess puzzle game I’m building where every capture changes how you move.

The subreddit is still tiny, so I’m looking for a couple of people who enjoy chess, puzzles, or indie games and would like to help shape the community from the beginning.

No previous moderation experience is required. Just looking for active, friendly people who like giving feedback and helping a community grow.

Description:
Morphy Chess is a bite-sized chess puzzle game that runs right inside a Reddit post — no download, just tap or drag. The twist: every move must capture an enemy piece, and your piece morphs into whatever it just took. So a pawn that captures a knight now moves like a knight; capture a rook and you move like a rook. Because every move takes a piece, solving isn't about how many moves you make — it's about finding the right order. Pick the wrong sequence and you'll strand pieces you can no longer reach, and the board turns red — just restart and try a new line.

Puzzles start tiny (3×3) and grow to bigger boards as an adaptive ramp quietly matches the difficulty to how cleanly and quickly you've been solving, so it stays challenging without spiking. You earn Crowns to spend on helpers (Undo, Hint) and climb a global leaderboard through the tiers — Bronze up to Master. Quick to learn, genuinely tricky to master. Feedback very welcome!
