Just offered my first AP (amaze! amaze! amaze!) the Bleu Nuit ROO 26420CD.OO.A029VE.01 My question is whether it is likely for an AP AD to throw in extra straps? MSRP on the ROO straps is pretty steep, just wondering if they may throw something in. Thx!
I have really enjoyed watching GS grow as a brand and establish themselves in the hearts of collectors. The new rev 9 drops have been fantastic, causing me to take stock of the pieces in my collection and contemplate what may come next. I love all of my GS babies. Not sure I can part with any of them, but at some point I’ll have to trade something pieces out to make way for the new pieces. What say you all? Who gets voted off the island?
44/5 GS is Life. It took me a few years to understand what I was responding to with various GS cases. The broad, flat Zaratsu polished lugs of the 44GS cases may be my favorite thing in watch making. In profile They give me this samurai/darth vader vibe that I am completely in love with. I know this geometry isn’t for everyone, but on my larger wrist, I think these are perfect.
Rocking the Railmaster XXL today. she ain’t dainty, but she’s a beaut.
JK. 😊 RailMaster XXL is not for everyone, but is one of my sentimental favorites. Doesn’t make it out of the box as often as I’d like, but such a solid piece. Great vintage, train clock styling. Hyper legible. I feel like this was Omega’s take on a big pilot/Panerai fighter. Haven’t seen any of these in the wild, anyone else have one, or the more elegant Aquaterra XXL?
Swapped the Gabagool for Odysseus WG. Odysseus is exceeding expectations, such a unique and refined sports watch, it’s been amazing on wrist.
One is built for the wrist, the other's built for anywhere else
Failed miserably earlier and didn’t follow the rules. Apologies for failing the community. 😊. Here’s the front and the back.
First salmon dial, loving the 5227G, understated elegance. Debating whether to have the hunter caseback engraved.
This dial is unreal in the sunshine.
🐙 watches are becoming my thing. lol. Just received my Kudoke Kudoktopus, well worth the wait. Probably the most interesting and unique piece I own. Lots of fun. It joins the Jacques Bianchi Night Diver, with the fantastic lume. Anyone else out there have an Octopus watch?
I am very fond of this fellow.
Busy week ahead, bringing some of the big boys for fortification. 😊
I always worry the SLGW005 is a little small on me, but I’ve come around to thinking it’s vintage proportions are perfect for an understated dress watch. The impeccable finishing and polishing really do all of the work on this piece, which is absolutely brilliant in natural light. This piece was a perfect pairing with the 9SA4 manual movement, which has become one of my favorites. This watch is a real
joy to have on wrist.
Grabbed some of my more playful pieces for a quick getaway.
