still thinking about that Garden crowd from Finals Game 4. almost stayed home.

my voice was completely gone after this one.
29 down and somehow nobody in the building really sat down once the comeback started feeling possible.
the OG chase-down on Fox was probably the moment it flipped for me. then Brunson launches that stupid deep three, it comes off, OG gets the tip with 1.2 left and the place just explodes.
i almost missed all of it.
was dead tired that day and had basically decided i was watching from the couch. then a few hours before tip i started looking at random singles because the FOMO got annoying.
found one on veritickets, stared at the price for a minute, bought it anyway.
terrible financial decision. zero regrets.
rewatched the ending the next morning and it honestly felt slower on video. inside MSG it was just noise and everyone around me losing their minds at the same time.
still the loudest stretch of basketball i've ever been in.

Where does useful automation begin?

I've been experimenting with automation and one thing I've noticed is that the boring stuff can actually be the best stuff to automate. I'm not trying to have ai decide my entire ad strategy. I'd just like to eliminate repetitive steps that don't really require a human.

For example, we regularly have batches of meta creatives that need to be launched across campaigns. Blip caught my attention because it focuses on that operational side rather than trying to replace the media buyer. Has anyone else taken this approach? What boring marketing process did you automate that ended up being useful?

What's the best Hyperliquid bridge?

I'm looking to bridge my assets directly into my Hyperliquid account and was wondering if there is a simple way to do it. I used to use the official Arbitrum bridge, but it's honestly pure headache, the waiting time was always annoying and having to wait around a week for everything to arrive is really not ideal when you already have an open position and need the funds on Hyperliquid quickly.

I'm looking for a reliable way to bridge USDC to Hyperliquid directly without going through loopholes. I don't mind using a third party bridge as long it's a DEX and it's fast. Would also be interested to know what I should avoid and common mistakes not to do.

Thanks, please leave a suggestion in the comments.

How do you guys bridge crypto?

I haven’t done any bridging since 2021, and back then it was really stressful and a total pain in the ass. I just want to know what you guys are using these days. I came across Jumper and Debridge, but to swap an altcoin 1 to 1 like Polygon from BNB chain to Polygon chain it always seems to cost 1 to 2%, which I’d rather avoid. Do you always need to swap to USDC first before bridging so it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg? Is that just how it works?

Also, I still use Metamask and I'm wondering if that's outdated. I've tried Rabby a little even though a lot of people said it's way better but i don't really think it is

Thanks

Riverside vs. Streamyard: which is best for live streaming?

Been running a weekly show on Streamyard for about a year, mostly two hosts plus a guest. It works fine for the actual streaming part but the second we stop streaming I'm dragging the recording into three other apps to actually make it usable, editing, clipping, captions, all separate tools and subscriptions. A friend keeps telling me to just move the whole thing to Riverside since it does the streaming AND the editing after. Anyone actually made that switch? trying to figure out if it's worth the migration headache or if I'm overthinking this.

Should a public status page be a minimum requirement for business-critical tools?

Screenshot from Everfit this morning.

Outages happen but what frustrates me more is not being able to see whats actually broken.

Is it logins? Client apps? Workout delivery? Messaging? Check-ins?

An email saying “we’re working on it” doesn’t really help you decide what to tell clients.

A status page should be a basic offering for any tool that your livelihood relies on.

the first strap i bought was completely wrong, and that's the normal outcome

bought my first one at 24. too long, wrong harness, sat in a drawer for a year. second time i asked people first and it was fine. everyone buys twice, don't read anything into it.

girth over length. six inches was already more than either of us wanted.

and the harness matters more than the dildo, which nobody told me. a jock with the ring set low held the base against me instead of somewhere above me. that was the difference between wearing it and operating it.

before any of that though, what's actually worrying you? it's usually some version of "what if it hurts her," and no spec sheet helps with that one. worth just saying to her out loud.

worked for us, might not for you. what's the bit you're actually stuck on?

for what it's worth the jock we landed on is a StrapHer. made by queer women and you can tell in a minute. runs snug, we sized up.

The biggest bottleneck in my marketing ops is ad uploads

We're spending a decent amount on FB/IG, but our media buyer is spending way too much time on manual repetitive ad setup. It's a huge drain on our resources and is starting to limit how many new concepts we can test.

I'm trying to optimize our workflow and recently started using Blip to automate a lot of this but I'm still not sure the best way to structure everything. Do you use a central creative repository like Drive or Dropbox? How do you ensure your team's copy and links are consistent across dozens of new ads?

Finally got my 12-year-old his first PC. How do I build him a decent game library without spending a fortune?

My 12-year-old has been playing games on my (very) old laptop for the last couple of years. Mostly older stuff that it could actually run like Portal, Terraria, Plants vs. Zombies and LEGO Star Wars.

I finally got him his own gaming PC, so now I want to introduce him to some actual PC games and let him discover what he likes...

For anyone wondering, nothing crazy spec-wise either: Ryzen 5 5500, RX 6600 and 16GB RAM. I was trying to keep the whole thing reasonably affordable, but from what I've read it should be more than enough for him at 1080p.

I've deliberately kept him away from Roblox. Maybe I'm being an old man about it, but everything I've read about that game makes it sound like absolute cancer and I'd honestly rather spend some money buying him proper games than have him disappear into Roblox for the next five years lol

Problem is, I haven't really been into PC gaming for a while myself, so I'm pretty out of the loop.

Obviously there's Steam and I'll keep an eye on sales and the free Epic games, but where else do you guys buy games these days? Bundles, key sites, other stores?

I'm not necessarily looking for the absolute cheapest option either. I'd rather pay a little more somewhere reliable than save $5 and end up with a dodgy key.

Also happy to take recommendations for games that would be good for a 12-year-old with his first proper PC.
