Is it possible to open the G502x without ruining it?

The scroll wheel locking button dislodged when I was cleaning it, and won't come back to its place. I was thinking of opening it to try to fix it, but I'm afraid I won't be able to glue the skates back afterwards (or something else).

Can I do it?

How well does Opsticaler close the gap of Nvidia's technologies broad compatibility to AMD ones?

I have an RTX 5070 and while it's a great card, the 12GB of VRAM sucks. The 9070 XT is at the same price I paid for the 5070, and after a lot of consideration I made the jump, and now I'm waiting for it to arrive.

I made the decision to buy it based on the bigger performance and especially the VRAM, but losing access to DLSS and Frame gen on titles without FSR 3.1 made the purchase a bit sour, but still worth it from what it seems.

That was before I learned about Optiscaler (I had heard about it before but didn't know much about it), and it looks like I'll be able to use FSR4 Upscaling, ML Frame generation and Anti-Lag 2 on any game that supports DLSS 2+ and Reflex.

How well does it work overhaul?

If it works well, it pretty much gets rid of the main problem I had with switching the AMD which is broad compatibility of upscaling and frame generation, making this purchase MUCH more appealing.

I need a B550 motherboard that can fit an XFX SWIFT 9070 XT (3.5 Slots) without touching the case cables

I currently have an MSI A520M-A Pro and an RTX 5070 Galax 1 Click-OC (Dual Slot), and as you can see from the first image, it's already close to touching the case cables. The 9070 XT that I bought (hasn't arrived yet) is almost 2 times thicker so the cables won't fit.

The B550M PRO-VDH WIFI (3rd image) has the GPU slot higher, but I don't know if it's enough to fit the cables. Does anyone know whether or not it can fit that GPU?

Alguém aqui fez a mesma troca?

- 1x A400 480GB (Direto no SATA)

How well does the Galileo G8+ handle thick camera bumps?

I have an S23 Ultra and use this case with it, and it has a considerable bump (around 2mm I think).

Is it going to fit well in the G8+?

If I downgrade GHUB, will I lose all my profiles?

For the last couple of weeks, every time I put my PC to sleep, GHUB doesn't start and requires a bunch of steps to get it back working. If I downgrade it to an older version, will I keep my profiles?

Dead Pixel only when viewing from certain angles

It's a bit hard to see but it's right above the cursor.

When viewing the monitor (an Asus XG27ACS) from a straight angle it isn't visible (thank god), but as soon as I change the angle to right (not to the left) it becomes visible, and if I go too much to the right it disappears again.

I tried cleaning it with a microfiber cloth to no success.

When doing the EIZO monitor test, it was only visible when the screen was green.

Is it actually a dead pixel? Why can it only be viewed from an angle?

How to turn monitor on/off with VCP codes? LG 24GS60F-B

I have 3 monitors, an Asus XG27ACS, and 2x LG 24GS60F-B.

I downloaded a program called Twinkle Tray to turn on/off both LG monitors with a hotkey.

The VCP code is supposed to be 0xD6 with values 1 (to turn them on) and 4 (to turn them off).

Value 4 turns the monitors off, which removes them from the list thus preventing me from sending value 1 to turn them back on.

What can I do?

[BO3] Is there a high resolution video with just the Dark Matter effect full-screen?

I want to use it as a wallpaper but with only the effect itself, without the weapon, UI or background. Preferably the BO6 version, but BO3 is fine too.

I completed Resident Evil 7's notoriously hard 100%

TL;DR: Loved the game and (most of) the DLCs. Good story, scary as fuck (didn't had the balls to play with a headphone, so I used my speakers), and had a lot of fun the majority of the time. Wasn't easy overhaul but playing on PC with high FPS and using guides made things much easier.

I give it a 9.5/10 for the main game and 8/10 for the DLCs. In terms of difficulty, it's a 4.5/10 for the main game and 6.5/10 for the DLCs.

I'll leave my detailed overhaul experience here, for those who want to read.

Main Game

I played blind first, on normal, as I usually do, to get the hang of the game and enjoy it spoiler free. It wasn't very hard, but it was definitely scary. Managed to get some of the miscellaneous trophies, but missed the get all files, mr. everywhere and antique coins.

After that I did the sub 4 hour speedrun (using this guide from Optinoob, which has all the collectibles while finishing the game in 2h30), pretty easy.

For madhouse I had every item that can help the run (Secrets of defense, glasses, shoes and circular saw), and was very menageable.

Nightmare

Nightmare was easy, but Night Terror (which is the harder version of Nightmare) took me a couple of hours of trial and error (followed a general tips guide instead of following a walkthrough step by step)

Bedroom

Tried to go blind on this one, almost did it apart from 3 or 4 tips I had to get unstuck, I'm not very good with puzzles, especially the ones that also scare me.

Daughters

Finished it blind first, very scary, unfortunately got the bad ending. Followed a guide for the good ending.

Jack's 55th Birthday

A fun little mode to lighten up the mood, tried my best to create the routes myself but had to use a guide for a good portion of it.

Not a Hero

Blind first, with a guide only for the antique coins. Did the speedrun after and then professional. Normal mode wasn't hard, but professional, even with a guide, took me a couple of hours (though the last boss was surprisingly easy even on Pro, managed to beat it without taking damage)

End of Zoe

As always, blind first on normal, very manageable. Joe must die was a pain in the ass though, died many times (fuck those gators and fatties) even though I was closely following a guide. I guess losing (most of) my advantage of having a good aim by using M&K due to the melee combat makes a difference.

Ethan Must Die

Not gonna lie, I was expecting this to be by far the worst part, but managed to beat it in 4 or 5 tries.

Of course this was only possible by following a guide (this one from local YouTuber Filipe Ramos, which is based off of SwingPoynt's guide) and a good amount of luck (had the Magnum and an Alberta with a generous amount of ammo)

Blackjack (21)

I left the blackjack's Survival and Survival+ for last as they can be very frustrating due to RNG.

There's a Python script on Github that can guide on you the best possible moves in every situation, but I decided to make my own cheat sheet to help me card count, and it helped a lot.

Survival was actually easy, did on the 2nd or 3rd try.

For Survival+, I knew my best chances would be with most of the rewards unlocked, so I didn't even care about winning.

At my 5th or 6th attempt (don't remember exactly, but it was less than 10, with only 2 or 3 going deeper into rounds), after wasting many Trump cards and taking avoidable damage just to unlock more rewards (I wasn't planning to beat it anyway), I got lucky and got past the molded Hoffman.

After that I started to play more seriously but not expecting anything, but as I got further and further I started to believe, and when I got to the final boss I was really tense.

He almost killed me 3 or 4 times, but I saved it by strategically using Trump cards.

In one of those times I had literally given up, because I thought none of the Trump cards could help me, so I went for the 15 Trump cards in a round rewards, and started using them hopelessly.
One of those cards was a Two-Up (hadn't unlocked the better version yet), which raises the bet by 2 and gives you a random trump card back, which I had forgotten about the latter. It then gave me a destroy trump card, that I used to destroy his trump card that was preventing me from drawing any cards, and saved the round and the run.

So I managed to beat it with only the 24 card (which was the card that literally saved my game and made me win the last round), exchange and Perfect Draw+.

What's the MD5 Hash for Resident Evil Requiem?

Ever since the FH6 drama I've been a bit paranoid about downloading the wrong files, even though I'm using Firefox + Ublock Origin.

Does anyone have the Requiem's MD5 Hash for me to compare?

Almost every time I exit a game, Steam still shows the game is running

Even when my PC is at sleep, it only goes away if I click the Stop button. The play time counter keeps tracking time as if I actually had the game running, but after I click stop the time goes back to where it should be.

I don't know if it has any effect on it, but I'm using Steam Achievement Notifier (not to be confused with SAM).

I have a weather data table (that gets updated automatically every 20 minutes), and I make graphs for every month of data. The problem is that I'm having to manually pick the starting and ending row for each month (3084 and 5238 for the month of April) for every graph.

That is annoying, especially if I want to create the graphs before the data is ready (like for the current month of may), leaving me to calculate in which row the month is going to end (which is flawed because the data can have holes from time to time, meaning there's fewer rows at the end)

Is there a way for me to filter the graph data based on the date?
