I guess this isn’t technically a JRPG as it wasn’t made in Japan but the core gameplay is heavily inspired by the classic DQ games as well as FF1.

For those unfamiliar, it follows an undead protagonist in a post-post-apocalypse and parodies a lot of the usual tropes you’d find in those NES and SNES JRPGs.

I’d highly recommend the game and it’s actually on sale now on Steam.

Hey All! I hope this is okay, as someone asked me to run one of these on here and on the 360 sub... If you've seen my polls on other subs, you might know the deal with these at this point, but I like to run these polls for each console to showcase the library of games and give notice to those that are often underrepresented in the usual conversations.

Anyway, I remember the first time I played an xbox. I was told that if I got all As in that year of schooling that I would given an Xbox at the end of the school year. And you bet your ass that I did just that. All summer I had three games, Halo CE, Jet Set Radio Future, and Shenmue 2. Between them all I was absolutely enamored with the console.

I wish that I could go back to that summer sometimes, but those memories will always be cherished. So, I hope this polling will give us a good walk down memory lane, but also introduce us to some new gems to seek out.

Hey All! I hope this is okay, as someone asked me to run one of these on here and on the original Xbox sub... If you've seen my polls on other subs, you might know the deal with these at this point, but I like to run these polls for each console to showcase the library of games and give notice to those that are often underrepresented in the usual conversations.

I was definitely a PlayStation kid back in the day, but I could not deny how awesome the Xbox consoles were. Once I owned one, the PS kinda gathered some dust until Sony's big comeback in 2009. And even then, the usage was neck and neck. Regardless, I love this system for so many things: the indie game scene, the multiplayer, the variety of games offered.

This is it. The big one. The poll that I didn't know I was building up to... pitting every retro console library against each other. It feels like an Avengers moment for me XD
