Just shit my pants

Took my first dose at 6am with breakfast. Just shit my pants 3.5 hours later. I have chronic constipation and hadn’t pooped in days. What the fuck. I have never had a med affect me like this. Thank god im not at work but my shift starts in a few hours. I couldn’t even make it to my toliet 14 feet away. I’ve tried 14+ meds and have never had a physical reaction as extreme as this.

reddit.com

Anyone who has success with this med who failed SSRIs AND buspar, also those who also have adhd?

Psychiatrist is forcing me on my 15th medication after asking for adhd meds. Buspar made me vertigo-y from what I remember so I’m not excited. I was diagnosed by a Kaiser doctor 3 years ago and offered stimulants (turned them down since I had failed through 12+ meds and was over it) but now they are making me go through a whole process with an “adhd specialist,” and won’t diagnose me if it’s “inconclusive” due to my anxiety and depression. No meds (nor 30 sessions of tms) have helped with my anxiety/depression. Starting on 10mg tomorrow. I have also been dealing with awful chronic fatigue that worsened in April despite my mental health improving the past year and past couple years in general. Hopefully the drug doesn’t increase my fatigue. I’m reading about nightmares in this subreddit and it’s scaring me. I already have nightmares without I don’t need more (I had one last night, woke up at 3 and couldn’t go back to sleep). Edit; I’ve been reading about people having side effects if not taking within hours of their usual time, as someone who has a hard time even remembering to take meds daily this is gonna be fun 🫩

Harassment walking to work RTO

Has any women brought this up yet? Nothing quite like having a pair of men turn around and start following you from behind, asking if you want to go on a date with them, all the way to the block of your office. Then I started parking at a closer lot (literally across the street) and it still happens. Guess this is my fault for choosing to start work at 6am. At least I didn’t get physically assaulted like that one guy who posted on here. I wish they’d have security outside sometimes instead of inside sitting at a cushy chair, at least it would maybe deter weirdos (men).

Edit: if you’re gonna mock me for being uncomfortable with men harassing me, especially after experiencing rape and having that trauma (yes I’ve gone to therapy and I don’t seem to get nightmares anymore), please keep your thoughts to yourself. I’m purely suggesting security do rounds around the building, this is what the one security guard does at my part time job at a public building. This following is happening right up onto the block of state property, and having a witness would make me feel safer 🤷‍♀️ I live in florin- I don’t experience the levels of harassment there as I do working downtown (the homeless near where I live keep to themselves), nor at my part time job at a public library. I have done mainly fieldwork in my career (very rarely solo fieldwork, which helps), including interacting with the public, and have not experienced this kind of sex-based harassment, mostly just regular anger which I’m fine with deescalating.

190k+ Gen 4 plug in vs 154k 08

My local utility company (California) has a plug in/ev rebate program (2k). Program ends Dec 2026 or when funds exhaust. I just bought an 08 with 152k miles for $5,200. Should I try and buy a gen 4 plug in? Reasonably I can only spend like 7k on my own so 9k which is vehicle sin the 190k+ mile range.

Easy Crosswords? Like ACTUALLY easy

I’ve gone back to look at old threads, they recommend latimes, USA Today and dictionary.com. All of these are too hard for me. USA Today I can only complete if I use multiple letter hints and at least one word hint (plus the thing where it tells you if your word/letters are wrong). I feel like an idiot, then again I don’t really know all that much about a lot of pop culture I guess… 😅. I seem to be really bad at recall and just have a terrible memory in general so maybe this isn’t for me despite finding videos of people doing NYT crosswords entertaining.

Home sleep test. Doctor won’t grant me anymore testing for my fatigue (requested in-lab), what do you think?

Is this normal? Had my tonsils removed at 10 for snoring/mouth breathing.

What is wrong with me?

24 year old female. 5’8 134 lbs.
Low blood pressure since forever
Covid in early 2022
Occasional “blood rushes”/near syncope (vision goes black/fuzzy)
Chronic constipation, sometimes abdominal pain (bloating?), rarely nausea
Infrequent random heart palpitations
Heavy/painful periods (I use birth control and skip sugar pills so only have my period ~4x per year)
Terrible terrible memory
Somewhat frequent migraines, used to have migraine frequently but they’ve been pretty rare the past year
Random joint pain (fingers and wrist usually)
My back is hypermobile but physical therapist doesn’t think I have ED
Dental health is fine (no cavities filled in >1 year, just had an appointment last week)
Tonsils removed at age 10 (if relevant)
Very minimal caffeine consumption (occasional/rare boba or soda)
Minimal alcohol consumption (less than 1 drink every few months max). No drug consumption (no weed, etc).

I have been struggling with chronic fatigue for years (since age 14) but it got significantly worse in April. I get 7-11 hours of sleep but still struggle to make it through a 8 hour shift. I take naps frequently, but not everyday. I don’t think my symptoms are “bad enough” for a CFS diagnosis. When I do fieldwork o typically am less fatigued maybe because I’m distracted more. I just went on a 40 min walk at lunch (office day) to try exercise and now I’m so fatigued I feel like crashing.

I was tentatively diagnosed with adhd by my psychiatrist who I had seen for years but that was when I was wayyyyy more impulsive (18-20). I doubt I’d pass now to get an actual diagnosis.

When I was 15-16ish (around 2017?) they took my BP laying, sitting down, and standing up. I proceeded to pass out or nearly pass out when I stood up. They proceeded to do an ekg which I recall being normal.

Low ferritin, normal iron and hemoglobin. Advice on dosing?

Ferritin: 23
-iron: 153 ug/dL, normal
-iron binding capacity, unsaturated: 294 ug/dL
-total iron binding capacity: 447 ug/dL
-transferrin % saturation: 34
What supplements should I get and what dose? What dose can I supplement without getting iron overload/too high iron (starts at 212 I believe)? How long until I see fatigue symptoms improve/until my ferritin is at a good level? 5’8 and 134 lbs.

Glad I didn’t take this sub’s advice

I continued to take what my doctor told me instead of MORE like people on this sub were advocating. Guess what I’m freaking over now lmao 😭. I also made sure to not supplement for 1.5 days beforehand since I know that can artificially inflate. This is >3 months of 1000 mcg a day. 258 to this Jesus Christ. I started eating nutritional yeast a week ago which has 2.2 mcg serving size of b12. Well guess I still have no medical reason for my fatigue since my fatigue is no better (my vitamin d also went from 16 to 43, I’ll keep taking 2-4,000 UI of that though).

Used car buying advice: what mileage should I consider?

I’ve never bought a hybrid. Only owned accord, civic, Camry all old af. For a 2007-2009 Prius what mileages should I consider buying? I used to crash cars like crazy (every 2 years) but it’s been 3 years with no crashing (24 and the prefrontal cortex is evolving yay) so figured I should try and get a car that will last at least 40k more miles. Is 180k too many miles? Also just ordered Bluetooth OBD for Dr Prius app. How do I consider what battery health is okay? Obviously I know on these older highish mileage cars (110k+) it might not be too hot.

Chats not loading on pc edge or app but do on iPhone app even after clearing cache?

Wouldn’t be an issue but my phone has water damage and needs to dry turned off. I cleared 24 hour of browser cache. This is the only way I could get logged out (log out button wouldn’t log me out). Logged back in and still experiencing the issue. Downloaded the app on the Microsoft store and still having issues. Specifically need chats for Facebook marketplace bc I’m trying to buy a used car. It still will not let me log out either, would probably need to clear cache again.

Which of these options should I buy?

(Assuming everything checks out, obviously)
-$5000 2013 Honda fit 166k miles
-$4000 2008 honda fit 170k miles
-$4600 2007 Honda civic 128k miles

Order from best to least option?
All have clean titles minimal damage (scratches)

You think this has frame damage?

Trying to decide if this car is worth getting a pre-inspection done or if I should just pass. It’s a good deal, for a reason.

Which gen 2 should I go for?

-07 177k miles original battery: $4800
-08 135k miles, no info on battery: $4400 (might be scam, but it doesn’t have large ish scrape on back door)
-08 165k miles, battery replaced at 133k miles not by current owner: $5900 (worried could be a refurbished)
Hoping for a car that will last a good 40k more miles
Will be testing with OBDII w/ Dr Prius app
What battery health (of individual cells)/life should I consider
I drive about 10-12k miles a year
Just want something that will survive 40k more miles ideally. I’m gonna go liability only for insurance.
