Could there be undiscovered megafauna species in remote part of Appalachian & Ozark mountains?

I believe there could be small population of ground sloth living in remote part of appalachian & ozark mountains because there is ground sloth cryptid called gorp reported from those 2 mountains. https://cryptidarchives.fandom.com/wiki/Gorp Also those 2 mountains are so vast, mysterious,& still have some area that are highly unexplored.

Ground sloth could explain various cryptid sighting from appalachian & ozark mountains like bigfoot ̶&̶ ̶d̶o̶g̶m̶a̶n̶ because ground sloth are large, hairy, & can walk with 2 legs.
