I used to have an iPad Pro 2021 without AppleCare and I kept having to fix it over the past two years. It was too much hassle and ended up costing more than the iPad was worth.

I have a Samsung phone.

The main things I do is youtube ,instagram , using it as a display as I draw while watching YouTube, pinterest, Spotify, battle cats ,shopping like amazon and college homework like docs and canvas nd stuff! What do you think would be best for me !!I dont do anything professional stuff

Money isn't an issue but if two tablets are basically the same besides minor upgrades and one is wayyyy cheaper then thats a plus

Would the answer change depending on what kind of phone i have ?
