Why do ambitious characters/houses want to own Harrenhall?

Colossal size, bizarre tragedies, and I assume costly maintenance, apart from it's strategic location and status why would you want Harrenhal?

Does it yield large sums of income?

Wouldn't another castle satisfy in terms of status?

Makes sense for the crown to hold it and use it for military and ceremonious purposes.

Why did Cregan Stark execute the last Strong?

Extinction of noble houses is supposed to be bad.

Of course Clubfoot didn't take the black etc but was there a workaround to continue House Strong? Like have an heir or two then perform the execution?

Why didn't Robert remove Greyjoys from power and execute them after the their rebellion?

Sure Balon surrendered and 'bent the knee' but screw them, the armies were at the gates, surrender doesn't really mean anything at that point.

Were they of service to the realm or crown? If not, off with the Greyjoy brothers heads.

Am I right?

What was Tywin's thoughts on the outcome?

What's your fish finger portion size?

(I'm 6'0 90kg)

Does an alternative to care homes exist?

I'm looking for an alternative to putting my grandparents in a care home.

Does anyone know of a in house care service? Like around the clock care, nights, meal plans and feeding etc?

We have the space to care for them but lack the manpower.

Those living at home, do you contribute financially? If no, why?

More people are living at home to save up or due to the cost of living.

If you live at home, do you contribute financially to the household? If not, what's your reason/s?

Stannis and Renly could have besieged KL or even half the realm, and forced the major houses to decide on the succession.

The Barateon brothers had enough forces to bring the realm into a standstill without fighting.

They had the advantage of the Lannister/Stark feud, was attacking KL (quick) or beseiging the realm (slow) a better strategy?

Ultimately they should've combined their forces and decided the succession once victorious.

Should international football be pushed back to the end of the season?

For tournament years, instead of international breaks during the season why not finish the season early and have a month prep before the tournament?

Imo it makes sense for tactics and chemistry. Just pick more players and pick the final squad later.

International breaks have too much influence over the season. Players get injured, momentum is distrupted, fixtures become congested. Make sense to push it back, thoughts?

Greenwood should come back to the Prem

Not condoning his actions but the boy was young, dumb, and probably didn't have the right team behind him.

He's England second best striker. He's developed well in Europe.

How would you feel if he returned?

Would it make a diff if he did advocacy work relating to his actions. Perhaps warn other young players and teenagers about relationship and sexual abuse?

EDIT: Other prolific footballers have done similar or worse, yet they are accepted. Should be one rule for all.

Do you think mortgages are predatory, if so what is the alternative?

It doesn't sit right with me that banks/building societies use our money to lend to fellow citizens, and charge about double the premium in interest over the course of the loan. Then they give us a fraction of the profits.

Also, there's no guarantee that the principle + interest = the house value after 15-30Y.

There must be alternative financing solutions to buying a house. (ex shared ownership)

Why isn't there a call to boycott the US World Cup like the Qatar World Cup?

Recent US atrocities and controversies:

- Iran war

- Primary aider in the Gaza genocide

- Venezuela, and other South American countries

- Greenland

- Epstein files

- ICE

- Immigration ban on third world countries

- Slush fund

- Pardons for cash

Yet still no condemnation from US allies or the rest of the world. Qatar was subject to several media campaigns due to human right abuses etc. Russia was banned from all FIFA competitions for invading a 'European' country - I guess I answered by own question.

Edit: Boycott from players/nations not football fans (esp being prices out)
