CQSMA scores plummeting

A few months back my pub consistently had scores over 95%. We were always in the top 3 (most of the time the top spot) for the pubs in our area. now were consistently the second to last spot in the area. With the monthly score at around 80%.
This of course means no bonuses for any of the staff which is a pretty big part of working for the company.

The hour cuts are so atrocious and it really shows in the scores. The managers are consistently cutting 2/3 shifts each day, so of course the place is constantly a mess, the kitchen is understaffed and the bar can’t get the drinks out in the correct timeframes.

I feel like the morale in my pub is nonexistent because we all know that we can’t really hit the targets anymore and keep the place well maintained with so little staff. And the lack of bonuses/benefits just makes it feel even less necessary to try.

Team leaders have been dropping like flies every other week…

any other pubs feeling the changes?

Team Leaders slagging off associates infront of other members of staff on the bar?

Probably happens at every pub, but at this pub they are so blatant about the whole thing.

I’m just kind of getting sick of working with nasty people desperate for promotion. I think they should be taken down a peg or two, because the way they act after being promoted is vile.

Im tempted to put an anonymous complaint in, I don’t see what harm it would cause.

thoughts?

I can’t tell if this is the shampoo working//breaking away the flakes. But it feels like it makes my scalp dry and more flakey instead of greasy, moist flakes if that makes sense. It is making my seb derm better but I’m wondering WHY it makes my scalp dry and flakey immediately after…

This behaviour has been going on for probably 20 years. My dad was arrested recently for fraud of $2.5 million. my mum stayed with him. My older sibling said 8 years ago that he committed credit card fraud against her and ruined her life at 19. She stayed with him. My older sibling also said he had used these credit cards to pay for prostitutes because his number was attached to prostitute websites. My mother stayed with him. My uncles (mums side) had said my dad committed fraud against them too, my mother stayed with him.

now recently finding out he has committed fraud against me, only for £1000 but thats bad enough, I’m unsure how to move forward. I don’t think I will continue a relationship with my mother as I know she will be manipulated by him and stay with him. I believe the best thing for myself is to claim to be estranged to my university so I can be financially supported and become a full independent student. It’s the only way I can afford to move out properly and not live with them in the summer.

i honestly just wish my dads court trial would progress faster and he can be in prison. That would be such a quick fix…

I feel like a carrot with all of these sprouting hairs that poke straight up. Is there any way I can tame the tuft beyond heat?? Maybe I should try a headband after washing to keep them down?

As a part time employee with the company now, I’m curious if the company was always this bad to work for or if things have just kind of unraveled over time.

I recently found this out and plan to cut contact. What I’m asking is, would this be able to “speed up” the requirements for independent student status. IE no contact for 1 year and self support for 3 years. I have spoken to police and reported the incident so there is proof on my file. I’m just wondering what basis I would have for this…

So I’m a uni student and my work is 50% uni students and 50% locals who’s career is Wetherspoons. so it’s quite mixed.

I feel like they’ve always been unwelcoming to the uni students but the more I work there the more extreme they seem to be about it all. First of all, every time I’m rotad on to work on the bar they’ll find a way to move me off of it. - wether that’s running the app orders or having me work on the floor (clearing tables/taking food out). It’s basically every shift now.
today it was even more blatant. I was supposed to be on the bar restocking the glasses and putting the glasses through the dishwasher. But of course, I got moved around and ended up just clearing tables on the floor for the last 6 hours of my shift. I was specifically told to tidy the outside area for the rest of my shift. in the rain… I spoke to another worker who’s also a uni student and she mentioned how she keeps getting “banished” off of the bar to the floor. She also bought up how she feels like they’re nasty towards her too. It’s like the team leaders purposely move the uni students off of the bar so they can work with the people they like more or are closer to, which are the locals.
the way they speak to me at times too is so unnecessary too. I’m really polite and quite shy, I’m never rude to them and the managers have told me I’m a good worker. But they just have SUCH an attitude. It’s obvious they don’t want to talk to me or work with me.
the managers also started being pretty rude after I said I wasn’t interested in going for a promotion because of Uni. For example they will barge into me constantly. One manager hit me hardly with a door (by accident) and didn’t apologise or say anything, just gave me a dirty look.

I’m kind of wondering if I send in an anonymous whistleblower/complain to the managers. Because I used to be happy picking up shifts, but it makes pretty miserable that I struggle to do it even for the money…

I hope I don’t sound dramatic!

I’ve posted a couple times asking for advice with a bleeding scalp. - no comments, no likes etc. it’s like advice is only given if I’m sharing pictures of my barely visible scalp on here. It’s just not realistic.

I made the mistake of scratching my temples a little and it’s irritated them badly. Bleeding and scabbing over with excess buildup. I know people say to not put any moisture on the area, is there anything I can put on the area to ease the pain?
I was considering Vaseline but that might be silly! Thanks
