I feel broken but happy i survived

my oxygen dropped to near critical levels a few days ago due to a respiratory virus . i was hospitalized and put in oxygen , usually id have a breakdown but some reason i feel.. strong i survived this and feel more close to the asthma community more than ever . i suffer greatly from health anxiety but while my oxygen was really low i told myself dont panic think of happy things- my favourite band simple plan and lead singer pierre bouvier . it brought me warmth and comfort and i knew i was gonna be okay . soon as we started treatment , and i got on oxygen i started feeling a sense of “ we made it out alive “ and one day i hope to tell pierre , cause of him im stronger 🩵as he has suffered with his health in 2021 as well ( covid )

Home from hospital

i got home from hospital yesterday , we did another walk test to determine if i was stable to go home :) thankfully i was stable and treatment had helped . im still sick but nothing like i was upon arrival . im still dizzy at times but its due to being sick ( the low oxygen was a whole different level ) dr said it was near critical . i had a fantastic team at both hospitals and now my parents are taking care of me making sure i recover . i was discharged with 2 antibiotics and a pred taper . i am coughing a lot but my main thing is the tiredness , i got no energy .

i just want to say , becareful out there you dont know how hard a virus will hit you . i was on oxygen all night the first night in hospital and i still couldnt breathe despite maintaining 96 % with oxygen . it was really scary . none of us are invincible , dr said its gonna take a while for me to bounce back , i wanted to share my experience and hooefully it will inspire others to be more careful

Amazing appointment

i had a great respiratory appointment . yes my lung function dropped but it was due to the asthma attack , but it wasnt CRITICAL which my dr reassured me about :) we changed my medication as well . my dr validated my anxiety around the severe attack as well ! which really makes me feel at ease . very happy with my appointment, i follow up again in 3 months :) hopefully no more severe attacks !

What questions would you ask your biological parents ?

i have so many questions i want to ask my mom if i could meet her , first off i want to know my birth story . apparently my mums water broke randomly and she was ready to have me and she was off to the maternity hospital in romania ! delivered naturally! which im so happy about .

2nd i want to know about my 2 other brothers and sisters , theyre much older than me im curious if theyre asthmatic like me and if they suffered respiratory infections too as babies .

3rd question id like to know is why ? why did she have us if she gave us up . i know she was so young and still a kid when she had the eldest kids and it aint easy but why ? tell me why keep me for 2 months then give me up ?
