I know everyone burps sometimes, and that's not what bothers me. What gets under my skin is that an adult family member constantly burps with their mouth wide open, and sometimes it feels like they're forcing themselves to burp just to make as much noise as possible. It happens multiple times a day, often around other people, and they never excuse themselves or even try to cover their mouth.
I've started getting visibly irritated whenever it happens, and I'm wondering if I'm making too big of a deal out of it.
