Hey team! Back with another question. This video starts with a tune that we took out over the outro chorus for the first or maybe 2nd time ever, so I had a spot to rip a bit over the form.

I used to be super busy with my solos but I’ve been practicing patience and space (or trying to haha). That part starts around 3:40.

That’s me on the left, lead guitar. Also for tone heads - once the solo proper comes, I kick on my Fulldrive 3 after a TS9 at zero gain. I think the Ego mini comp is after the TS9 here, and then the Fulldrive after that. Jam has me turn on my Keeley Rotary too, and maybe my Ventura vibe as well, I’ll have to watch again.

Main song is the dotted 8th setting on my Avalanche Run.

I’d love any thoughts and criticisms tho please and thank you! The jam too - anything you guys are noticing we do well/could work on, I would love that.

Hey team! Glass Pony covered WGTYM a couple weekends ago, and I figured you may enjoy watching it. I had some whammy loops going at the beginning, I think it works and I think that’ll be our way to play it, sort of how Ghost was in 1.0.

Bb is a weird key to solo in tho haha I always good the Eb cuz I’m not used to playing that note much lol

So my girlfriend just put the Weird Al tiny desk on YouTube. Weird Al was my first musical obsession and I recognized some of the band and I googled it…. Weird Al’s band shares a few similarities with Phish. The core band has been around for over 40 years and that includes the keyboard player now who came a little later!

I just thought it was crazy because they are the only bands I can think of whose lineup has remained unchanged that long, unless we count Rush?

And I have a theory - because all 3 of these bands, if you include Rush, have a wide variety of material so there’s always some novelty and changing material. I think that’s a crucial element to keeping all members musically and creatively satisfied.

Green Day will count next year I think. And they also have a pretty good evolution in sound. But I can’t think of anyone else whose core band has remained essentially unchanged from inception to now for 40 years.

Anyway, thanks for indulging me, feeling a bit under the weather from some food last night so laying in bed with thoughts haha

I got banned yesterday out of nowhere and I appealed but it’s been more than 24 hours now and still nothing. It’s weird - I can go in sometimes and see a few posts. But it’s super buggy.

I would report hateful stuff and I also wonder if that put me on their radar. But I’d get random spam warnings and ANY time I simply spelled out a drug by name, it would get flagged and removed but then the appeal would be successful and the comment restored (such as when I would say “I’m a recovering heroin addict, life is absolutely better without that garbage”)

So I just got a ticket in the mail for $50 from last Friday on I-90 (exit 21A) where they say I was going 56 in a 45mph work zone on the bridge over the Hudson, heading to Boston. I guess this is called the Berkshire Spur Eastbound.

I’m pretty sure I was trying for the normal 10-over and staying with traffic flow but my mom says every construction zone has the cameras now so just a heads up.

I expect many people will be getting surprise tickets today.

We’ve been sitting in a standstill/crawling at Exit 7 for like 25 mins now, just sitting in traffic that doesn’t move. Did a truck tip over? Google says object on road at some point.

Ahhh just got to a sign that says Left and Center Lanes closed at twin bridges due to a crash.

So, I am currently in a bananas crazy heartburn episode that came on suddenly after getting home from bowling. It’s been hot all day and I did a lot of chores and was out in the super humid heat and bowled 3 games (I did awesome - 755 3-game series tonight) and it was a long work day.

I got the dinner inside then went and got all my work stuff and as soon as I came downstairs to help my gf with the laundry it hit me. I haven’t eaten in about 7-8 hours tho. Had a big lunch at 3 to be digested for bowling at 6:30.

It’s just SO hot and humid tho. I was eager to have my treat dinner of pizza and wings (they never bother me - my episodes are wholly unpredictable)

The only thing different is I took 400mg ibuprofen twice today (with food and water!) earlier due to muscle aches from working out.

Could it be the heat stress and bowling exertion and such?

The pain is so hot and fiery it’s making my fucking jaw burn lol this is utterly ridiculous, I haven’t put anything in my stomach in like 5 hours!
