Conversations with a Killer: "Charlie Manson Tapes" was an awful rehash of a well told story with no new insights.

I was expecting the story to be told through audio recordings from Manson. Instead. It was just bad dramatizations, and third party narrations of Vincent Bugliousi's version of events.

The only redeeming quality was new interviews with a few of "his girls", but that contributed nothing to what the highlight of the"Tapes" documentaries should be.

LG Washer WT7900HBA Fill Valve Electrical Problem

Washer is a little two years old and in January I replaced the water inlet valve because the second valve from the left (the cold water fill valve) was leaking. The new valve workedat first, but this week it began leaking again from the same location.

I replaced the valve a second time. After installation, it operated normally for about five minutes, then stopped filling. At that point, a high-pitched electrical hum started coming from the cold water fill solenoid, and the solenoid became very warm to the touch. Eventually, the washer displayed an IE (Incomplete Fill) error.

I powered the machine off and tried again. The same thing happened: the valve would begin filling normally, then after a few minutes it would stop, the humming would begin, and no more water would enter.

To troubleshoot, I moved the electrical connector on the harness for that valve from the cold fill valve to the hot fill valve. The exact same behavior occurred, except now it was the hot water fill valve that hummed, overheated, and stopped filling. Because the problem follows the electrical connector rather than the valve itself, I don't believe the inlet valve is the issue.

My questions are:

What could be causing this behavior?

Where does the wiring for that valve terminate (main control board or another component)?

Could an electrical issue have been causing the original valves to leak or fail prematurely?

What component(s) should I replace or test next to permanently resolve this problem?

Damn, Mary

I'm on my first rewatch since the show premiered, and I've grown older and my wife and I have had a couple of kids and am noticing something I missed the first time. Mary is an absolute smoke show. George is one lucky man.

Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Suitable replacement for the discontinued Kitchen Cloth

Has anyone found an equivalent to these which were discontinued? The last thread on this sub was about a year ago, and all the links are dead. Any help would be appreciated.

Any reason not to purchase?

Is there any reason not to purchase off Amazon. It's significantly cheaper? What's the catch?

Where to buy engraved leather belts?

Does anyone know where I can get personalized leather belts? There used to be kiosks in malls and flea markets but I haven't seen one in a long time. Thanks for any tips.
