[Request] If Saturn was dropped onto a water planet the size of the sun would it just float like the picture suggests?

Ignoring any heat or cold that would evaporate or freeze the water.

Who had the best character arc/development in the whole show/story.

Try to be as unbiased as you can please and say which character regardless if they’re your favorite or not with who had the best arc in the totality of the story? I know there are differences between the show and manga so take a pic or do both.

Was it Eren? The little week boy who took the world upon his shoulders and fought til the end?

Was it Armin who similarly started as weak but smart and grew to be confident in himself and realized his friends and comrades trusted him entirely?

Was it Reiner who was brainwashed by Marley into trying to commit genocide of the people of Paradis and found out how wrong he was growing a whole other personality to cope with his atrocities?

You get the point and you can choose anybody not just those. This show has gone to great lengths to show many characters who grew or redeemed themselves beautifully.

Honest question, what would have happened if the pig Ymir was accused of letting go came into contact with the founding titan worm?

Is there any indication that only a human can be a host for the titans? Is it possible a pig or any other animal could have been fused with it and given the vast power we’ve seen in the show?

Someone gave me this today!

I have a Deku in his costume shirt and love wearing it, one of my coworkers noticed it and said she wanted to give me a my hero academia jersey shirt she had. Well today she brought it in and I love it! Not sure how official it is or anything but I don’t really care if it’s a knockoff or licensed shirt. It’s just nice someone figured I’d like it and gave it to me for free.

Have any of you noticed hair loss with pomades?

I’m not sure if there’s a correlation here or just coincidence but I’ve been using American crew pomade cream for a few years now and have noticed while in the shower hair collects in the drain and while I style my hair it gets caught in my hands like nasty webbing. I decided to take a break and use some hair style cream which isn’t a pomade and found very little to zero hair loss in the same manner. I’m not sure if it’s something in the pomade or just how sticky and rough its consistency is and it pulls and tugs on my hair more than the hair style cream I switched too. Anyways I ran out of that stuff and went back to the pomade and found the same hair coming out again and it’s nasty lol.

I have quite long hair and need to use something to style it but the new cream I use last barely a day and I wash and style my hair a couple times a week. If I use nothing it becomes a massive frizz ball.

A sad story with 2 pictures and 5 words.

Remember life during the run of the show? We’d get some amazing episode and then at the end we’d get the “To be continued” for years and many episodes. There’d be several reveals each season and thus more questions and we’d all have our theories and talked about them with each other, show only people that is I guess. And man did this show have some amazing reveals. Great story, great characters, superb music and score and then the animation was chefs kiss. But of course all things have an inevitable end, not every story can go on and on like One Piece. Then the very last episode we didn’t get a to be continued, we got “The end”. Life hasn’t been the same since.

[Request] How big of an event would the collision between Phoenix A and TON 618?

Black holes have fascinated me since I truly first started to understand them. Such massive objects taking up such relatively small volume. It’s perplexing to think of something with infinite density and being infinitely small or however it is. Sagittarius A* has 4 million solar masses and yet its event horizon’s roughly 20 times the size in diameter, like what? And then we have Phoenix A and TON 618 where they have 100 billion and 66 billion respectively solar masses with their event horizon in the hundreds of billions of kilometers. Alone they’re already some of the most frightening phenomena in the universe I just couldn’t imagine what would happen if they collided. I believe there’s been recorded events of black holes colliding before with gravity ripples traveling through the universe and scientists reading them with some sort of instruments. But I’m sure those were some small guys. So what would happen if those two ultra massive black holes collided? Let’s say TON 618 flew towards Phoenix A and that was the location of the collision. Phoenix A is 5-6 billion light years away I think. So if that happened 5-6 billion years ago would we be able to detect it here? What would that look like? Would the gravity waves touch us and cause any damage or anything we’d feel? I doubt there’s anything like that has happened to my knowledge so I don’t even know if we could predict the outcome. But that’s why I’m asking lol.

The picture I posted is just a picture and I’m not suggesting it’s true to scale.

[Request] How close would TON 618 have to be to our galaxy to light up earth at night?

From what I know TON 618 the super/ultra massive black hole is one of the brightest things in our sky even considering its 10 billion light years from us. The accretion disks on black holes can outshine their galaxy themselves some times and I figure that’s the case with this particular black hole. But 10 billion light years is far so if it was closer is it possible that the brightness could make night time look closer to day? Not actual day cuz if it were that close I’m sure worse things would happen lol. But is there a distance it could safely be and light up Earth?

Has there been truer words than this?

I’m rewatching the series as I usually do once a year or so and it’s funny that Eren says this cuz basically the whole world ends up hating him lmao. And he sure does fight. I love how much foreshadowing this series has.

u/DifficultComplaint10 — 12 days ago

Why can’t I download series x update?

I have the Xbox one version and when I do a search for the next or current gen one it says I already own it but nowhere does it say or let me update or download the series x version. In my manage game and add ons it says does not need to be downloaded or doesn’t need to update. Normally with other games when on the game menu it’ll say download or something but I just get what you see in the pictures.

Am I missing something or is there a bug?

u/DifficultComplaint10 — 15 days ago

Now this is a run.

Cat ears are so awesome and let you have an inventory like this. The gun powder and fish aside I think this is almost a perfect attaché case.

I’m running striker over riot gun cuz I always use riot gun lol just putting it out there incase someone thinks why am I using it.

[Request] How long would it take to fall from the moon to earths surface?

Say you’re on the moon and you’re able to jump off the surface at the minimum velocity required to escape its gravitational pull and get sucked into earths. How long would you be falling towards earth and at what speed? Is it fast enough to explode in the atmosphere when you reach it?

In the early 2000’s movie Clockstoppers, there was a watch that slowed time to near zero for the world and people except the wearer, what would happen in real life if that happened? I always wanted that watch but I’m sure there’s some serious drawbacks they didn’t include in the movie.

[Request] The math and ramifications of the movie Clockstoppers “stopping” time?

So actually in the movie is a watch that doesn’t stop time as much as it slows the wearers time which speeds everyone up to maybe it’s the other way around. The person wearing the watch and anyone who he touches while pressing a button is shown to move at normal speed while everything else is super slow motion. One of the effects shown is if in that warped time and space long enough the wearer will age rapidly. Are there any other consequences like that for using that watch? It’s said it stops time and space so not just time so that’s good they included that otherwise I’m sure there’d be some apocalyptic event lol.

This was one of my favorite movies as a kid being a 90’s baby and wished I had a watch like that. So what happens in real life without plot armor and like producer guy from pitch meeting says “cuz I needed the movie to happen”.

Also I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this but I’ve seen some insanely smart people here explain things I could never hope to learn.

What’s the worst place in the world for a virus outbreak?

Are there any places you’d deem the worst place for a virus to be released accidentally or purposely? A virus that will overtake any host it comes across so people and wildlife. I’m sure population would be a big factor but I’m not sure where that would be.

[Request] Spiderman 2 (2004) “mini sun” physics, what would happen?

In spiderman 2 one of the main plots was doc ocks fusion experiment for some sort of perpetual or long lasting energy source. It appeared to be a mini sun and whether it was meant to be solar or thermal energy idk. Would it be possible for such a “star” of that size to exist with current or future technology, and let’s just assume it was a mini star cuz doc ock said “the power of the sun in my hands”. And what would happen to everyone and the city around it had we made one of those on earth? Wouldn’t it vaporize or obliterate all matter around? And then at the end it was submerged in the river/ocean.. wouldn’t the water turn into a massive steam bomb? Let’s just take the premise of the fusion reactor of the movie and place it in real world logic.

Jimmy Carr stopped his show to talk with someone who was bullied, took a selfie and a video with him and shook his hand. If that’s not wholesome idk what is.

Jimmy Carr has a bit of a reputation for being mean and snarky but I believe it’s just an act. There was a bit in his show where he took audience questions and comments and one of the viewers asked something along the lines of how to deal with bullies. Jimmy called out the name of the person and went into the audience to speak with him and try to make him feel better. I take bullying very seriously and wish everyone in the world did cuz it has deep psychological effects that change the wiring of people whether it’s instant or slowly grows and festers in the mind. Many of the people who are bullied often resort to extreme measures which can involve self harm or outward. If everyone treated people with kindness it’d be a merry world. But too many people think it’s funny to make fun of and put others down. People need to stand up to them and tell them it’s not okay.

In case you wanna watch the short video here is the link.

If it doesn’t work then just go on YouTube and search Jimmy Carr sends a blunt message to teens bullies.
